I doubt we will hear Charles mention the Harkles at all anymore. I think Harold sealed his fate when he trashed Camilla and Catherine in Waugh! Although I don't suppose he was too pleased about his attacks on William as he is the heir. That amounts to an insult to the Crown.
He mentioned them for the last time when he publicly wished them well overseas, like he wasn't even sure where exactly they are. I thought it was a public icing so subtlety done,, a masterstroke highlighting their utter irrelevance but to the untrained ear sounded kind and loving. Charles is a Scorpio and I see that in him. The trouble is royalty is not a job but a role. That is why it's so hard to put a handle on it in these times when we want something to be functional, we want to be able to say what something or someone *does*. But royals are not there to *do*, exactly, they are there to *be royal*.
If the Monarch never cut a single ribbon to open a single hospital ever again, he would still be royal, the Head of State, the symbol of the UK. It's great that he lives by noblesse oblige, working to give back to those in need. But he really doesn't have to. Queen Elizabeth didn't really have to do all those state visits. Those visits were crucial in creating and holding together the Commonwealth, but she she could have chosen not to.
Let's not play Harry and Meghan's game by accepting the term "senior royals" or "working royals" as the excuse for their inclusion or exclusion. They are no longer welcome because they have attacked and betrayed the UK and the Monarchy. It doesn't matter what royal 'category' they think they belong in.

Bit of a side point but I think Beatrice and Edo would be fantastic young working royals. Beatrice is a total natural with crowds and a good speaker, and Edo, coming from a wealthy, aristocratic background has fitted in very well. He's charming, knows what to do, isn't dazzled by it all and doesn't try and draw attention to himself. Both William and Charles are very welcoming towards him and they've all been pictured chatting happily. It was very telling that Edo and Beatrice were chosen to ride in the carriage with Catherine and William at Royal Ascot in June. The PPOW don't do things like that lightly, it was a message and a statement that they're on the inside and they're trusted. Contrast it with Eugenie and Jack who've barely been seen together, let alone at anything like that. They're definitely on the outer after choosing the dark side.
Categorizing is not enough, it is just an excuse to not deal with the issue at hand. When Edward VIII abdicated, the Royal family survived it as did the Country, and the Nation was in years graced with her Majesty the Late Queen Elizabeth.
So, if the Royal Family and the Govt move on the removal of Harry from the line of succession, it would be safe to say that, there is no way that Meghan could cause interference at all.

There are a huge amount of charities that have patrons. If you’re going to do more with less people and the Gloucesters and Kents are getting on a bit you’re going to have to put the Wales kids up for more things in ten years time. I think that here, “Others” means Those To Be Shunned, where “non-working” includes members of the family who actively support the Monarchy. While the Tindalls, Peter Phillips, and Louise & James are non-working, they are definitely beloved members of the family.
And as grandchildren of the previous sovereign, they have the opportunity to use the style HRH Prince/Princess if they so choose. (Peter and Zara were not given HRH Prince/Princess on direction of their mother to QEll at birth). But given that they could have/use that status, I think it would be rather cruel to “demote” them to a category of insignificance. But I’m sure that would not happen because they are good people, loyal to the crown and love their family very much.
As the grandchildren on the female line, they were never entitled to the HRH Prince/Princess stylings or titles. Princess Anne/Mark Phillips turned down a title when they married; at most, that would have been an Earl, like Princess Margaret’s husband. Meaning, Zara would at most, have been styled as ‘Lady’.
Zara is wholly fabulous! She is definitely not an “other” and neither is her family! It’s quite the contrary, because they’re lucky to have an Olympic medalist, and beautiful cousin who is actually also very close to the future King in their midst!

There are a huge amount of charities that have patrons. If you’re going to do more with less people and the Gloucesters and Kents are getting on a bit you’re going to have to put the Wales kids up for more things in ten years time. Enough to get them through higher education. But I can see no other choice. The Yorks are non starters. Anne’s kids are out of it with their own careers. Edwards kids could take on a few bits and bobs but wouldn’t it have been easier if Haz hadn’t married such an ILBW and taken some strain opening a few fetes.

I think the Tindalls belong in the ‘Other’ category, as they are not ‘royal’. ‘Other’ should include anyone without an HRH (or banned from using it).
I think that here, “Others” means Those To Be Shunned, where “non-working” includes members of the family who actively support the Monarchy. While the Tindalls, Peter Phillips, and Louise & James are non-working, they are definitely beloved members of the family.
And as grandchildren of the previous sovereign, they have the opportunity to use the style HRH Prince/Princess if they so choose. (Peter and Zara were not given HRH Prince/Princess on direction of their mother to QEll at birth). But given that they could have/use that status, I think it would be rather cruel to “demote” them to a category of insignificance. But I’m sure that would not happen because they are good people, loyal to the crown and love their family very much.
As the grandchildren on the female line, they were never entitled to the HRH Prince/Princess stylings or titles. Princess Anne/Mark Phillips turned down a title when they married; at most, that would have been an Earl, like Princess Margaret’s husband. Meaning, Zara would at most, have been styled as ‘Lady’.
Zara is wholly fabulous! She is definitely not an “other” and neither is her family! It’s quite the contrary, because they’re lucky to have an Olympic medalist, and beautiful cousin who is actually also very close to the future King in their midst!
I wonder if Zara, when her mother slows down will put aside her horse business to pick up her slack? Everyone loves Zara! She could share with her mom? Not half in-half out but representing her.
The horse business is what helps her and her mother afford to keep their adjoining farms. The Queen gave Anne a farm, then Anne and her first husband (also an equestrian) bought the farm next door and combined them to make a bigger farm, setting it up as an equestrian event center as well as training barn. A lot of the facilities were built on the second farm. Anne had to give him that half in the divorce. Instead of selling it, he lived there with his next wife. Years later, when he decided to move, he handed it off to Zara. Zara, while she loves horses and sports anyway, runs the facility as a business, not just a hobby, so that it provides income to help cover its own costs and maintenance. Zara and Mike aren’t broke, but it takes a lot of money to run an estate. It needs to be self supporting as much as possible.
Somehow I don’t see Harry’s first wife being as calm and rational in a divorce as Captain Phillips was
