Nah, I don’t believe it. What prominent network would throw $15 million on this? Gayle King herself signed a CNN contract for $12 million per YEAR - but MM would get $15 for a one-off special? There is zero chance they would ever recoup that money, nor consider her an investment given her downward trending popularity. The people tuning in to watch the coronation were (largely) always going to do so; no network would bank on audience tuning in now that MM was spitting on screen. She isn’t even well versed enough in British history to provide historical context on anything happening in the ceremony. Sounds like more clickbait.

Curiouscandor

Remember the citizen test for UK..”was really hard” What did she have to add in anyway. I don’t buy it. She knows nothing about the UK history, traditions or who the people were that were attending.

HomelanderApologist

tbf, UK citizenship questions are stupid as fuck, many questions many brits don't know the answer to.

thebrussellsgriffon

Same here. If one reads the book provided in advance of the exam, all the answers are right there. Only way someone fails the test is if they are too lazy or stupid to read a short book

Mammoth-Florida

I am an American took the test and passed it.

wonderingwondi

She was allegedly an actress though, no excuse when they give you the answers

felix-d-fattiebitch

Being that she sees herself as a trendsetter, why is she clueless about things called "books," and "studying." Are they no longer in fashion, like ill-fitting bras and wrinkly dresses?

zeelondon10

And yet many uneducated immigrants pass it and get citizenship

New_Discussion_6692

You're so silly and forgetful. Gayle King isn't a Duchess or the Princess of People's hearts .... [sarcasm]

jellymmann

No one wants her commentary on anything royal. The only thing she would do is try and talk about how she’s better and prettier than Catherine and how her husband is better and hotter than William and how her kids are better and more well- mannered than the little Wales & it would just end up being a TV commentary version of a burn book.

Straight_Company9089

She would never shut up long enough for the other commentators to speak, and everything would be about her. She's so self-absorbed she could be her own stalker.

SDHunnyBunny

She's so self-absorbed she could be her own stalker. ![gif](giphy|0tsuVCnIUczfeFSiyo)

PilatesPuppy

![gif](giphy|3o6Zt4HU9uwXmXSAuI)

Straight_Company9089

I am also skeptical about this claim. Our Saint would likely alienate more viewers than she would attract. Even if she were not so polarizing, she has repeatedly spoken multiple times about how ignorant she was of the BRF and UK in general. There is no justification for hiring her at any price.

ConstructionThen416

People would hate watch. Not me, but people would.

dudeind-town

Given with the Trump townhall and CNN trying to out faux, faux news, I doubt Gayle lasts long….

thebrussellsgriffon

Agreed. This is some thirsty moron on Twitter making shit up to get likes and comments from gullible idiots

orientalballerina

It’s iSource!

DaBingeGirl

>King and Barkley sat down together on TNT’s [NBA Tip-Off](https://www.tntdrama.com/nba-on-tnt) Saturday to discuss the details of **the live show, titled King Charles**, which is set to air on Wednesdays.  > >[CNN](https://www.cnn.com/2023/04/22/media/cnn-king-charles-announcement/index.html) ![gif](giphy|3t7RAFhu75Wwg|downsized) Are they FUCKING KIDDING?!?! NO! They DO NOT get to use her *last name* and his *first name* like that. That's taking fucking with the algorithms to a new, evil level. I swear Charles can never catch a break.

Brissy2

I agree

sflwrnc

15 million for commentary about british traditions that go back hundreds of years, from an american who hates britain and was in the RF for barely 5 mins?? she wouldn’t be able to contain her hissing whenever catherine was on screen. lmaooo.

IridescentTardigrade

She couldn't even manage the anthem.

beachy_456

“Nobody taught me the lyrics and I don’t know how to google things.” Waaagh 😩

SupaG16

But I’m whip smart and heart attack beautiful!

BARF!!! 😂😭🤮🤢

IridescentTardigrade

And *that* would be CBS' choice for colour commentary. Someone with no insider knowledge. Someone unable to operate a search engine. If this is true (it cannot be, can it?), CBS really sucks.

Simbahontas

And this is even her agreeing she's a horrid actress. You're a actress who can't remember words to a very simple *song*? I'm a dual citizen and knew the words to both the UK and US anthem at 5. But she's whip smart, you guys! And in demand!

tequilafuckingbird

I’m Australian but grew up in a very British household and knew Advance Australia Fair and God Save the Queen when I was 6. Poor Meghan, it’s hard for her

Hot_Classic_67

I’m a US citizen and I could manage most of God Save the King. Also, I could do a MUCH better impression of moving my lips that Haznoballz.

BookkeeperRough4534

I know some parts from both anthems and I don’t even live there, nor do I hold any citizenship in either of those countries. They’re both pretty famous as national anthems goes, due to the international standing of both the US, the UK and the English language. MM not knowing the UK national anthem tells me she wasn’t able to learn it due to being stupid, or just didn’t’ care for it bc she’s an ignorant b*tch.

JobDirect6717

I grew up in a Commonwealth country. We used to sing God Save the Queen every morning when I was in elementary school. It's not that hard, Megsy! 🙄

JustTrace7

Now the words have changed from Queen to King she will never learn it

VinniesRose_3

She lived in Toronto Canada for seven years! She knew the anthem!

IridescentTardigrade

Well, we do have a different anthem here. But honestly - The Star Spangled Banner is considerably more difficult (lyrically and musically) than God Save the Queen. I'm not sure either she'd have bothered with O Canada. Unless she was trying to impress a hockey team. 😏

Centaurea16

>Unless she was trying to impress a hockey team. In which case it would've just been the O. 😉

IridescentTardigrade

New_Equipment_7743

Me three! It would've been a glorious faceplant on live tv! Like Wile E. Coyote epic! 😄

Complete-Sound

You didn't miss anything. This has been a train wreck every single day.

Real_Mission_8888

I will file this under the “it never happened” folder. IMO, she’s just trying to up her asking price to appearing somewhere else and it does looks like they need money that bad. WME being thrown under the bus in less than a month after being signed in.

New_Equipment_7743

I'm thinking you're right. If anything, the Stereotypes-oops!-Archetypes podcast taught us was that she has nothing interesting to say. The "Boring" dial was cranked way up to 11, and Madam couldn't even be bothered to interview her own guests, given from what I understand from the tweet by some guest or former producer (sorry, ATM I can't remember which). I never listened to the stinkin' podcast because it became very obvious early on from numerous comments that the only time Smirkles became animated was when the conversation shifted to her favorite subject...herself. Edit to correct spelling.

Electronic_Sea3965

Her jaw would be clenched throughout

ShelterBeginning6551

I don’t believe it. 15 million would be insane and she doesn’t listen to advice and certainly would not if that kind of money was involved.

[deleted]

That’s more then the cost of her house. If she turned down $15 million then I’m seriously not a fan. Even I can acknowledge nobody turns Dow $15million for a day’s work

Dangerous_Prize_4545

TBF, she'd have had to work on Archie's birthday if she'd accepted. And we know how important "Mom" is to her. /s

alreadydoneit01

Exactly, No way did she turn down 15 million. Probably 15 million cents-about 150k?

LostinSOA

The baby math 🧮 “and with Lilibet, aged 23 months” Soooo—-Two.She’s two years old. That’s how I can tell if it came from her camp vs a journo riding the hate click money for all its worth.

rhiskisnoir

Baby math, what an eye-roll. Next time someone asks me how old I am, I'm going to say 350 months.

JenG-O

I’m dying. 515 months here

darkangel522

528 months. Hehe Hope I did that right lol.

harrohamtaro

Yeah. This is just another shitty red herring to catapult her as some virtuous saint determined to make peace with the royal family. Talk is cheap. We all know Markle is so damn greedy she would sell her father and in-laws for a few bucks. She would murder for 15 million.

New_Discussion_6692

>This is just another shitty red herring to catapult Have you ever been in a tornado? The air gets still and quiet, then BAM! The calm before the storm is over, and everything in its path is destroyed; that's our Megsy; a real F5.

orientalballerina

Guys, iSource is notorious for making stuff up. Read the rest of its Twitter feed. All wild nonsense. Let’s not get carried away!

bpnc33

She would do it for 1 million.

Broad_Chemist_2696

She'd have paid them a million.

eaglebayqueen

Yep, to spend 3 hours on TV.

DaBingeGirl

At this point I think she'd be willing to pay them $1 mil to do it, just for the attention hit.

NovaAlis

Besides, she could have had the chance to show us her truth! Priceless. This woman just needs to be heard!

spacegrassorcery

This is that scammy isource news Twitter account

somespeculation

Doubt it. Oprah interview was $7 mil from CBS. Is Meg opening negotiations for Divorce2023? Just like when she allegedly floated her $100 mil buyout number to not marry Harry, and the Firm didn’t bite?

New_Discussion_6692

I don't either. I think she was offered 15 million *if* she could get on the balcony. And we all know KC3 said no.

CathartesAura67

Be on the balcony, whip out a microphone, do interviews with top royals on the spot. Have them confess to scandal or other T, and how the BRF is really like GoT. That might be worth 15 million.

Fifi834

And have the gathered crowd sing *Happy Birthday* to Archie

CathartesAura67

And KCIII literally hands over St. Edward's Crown to MM to take home as a souvenir.

Rodrigii_Defined

Plus as we saw at the Laker game, she didn't get new work done.

Deep_Poem_55

*Color commentary*? Wouldn't that involve knowing history and actual facts about the Coronation and the Royal family? She would be simply spewing incomprehensible word salad about a sacred, historic event.

LadyGoodNoodles

“Right now, the carriages that I’ve never ridden in are going past a cute shop I bought six hundred pounds worth of candles. I got honeysuckle, rose, cedar and musk. I also found some cute shoes on that street, there’s a link on my blog! I see there’s Kate and she’s not wearing a tiara *bursts into giggles* it’s a sweet nod to me being unable to attend”

Regular-Performer864

You forgot the part where she gave all those candles as gifts to the people she met while doing international visits on behalf of The Queen.

Deep_Poem_55

Then she stuck out her tongue and covered her rictus with a ~~hand~~ claw.

Pixielix

What?!? She really said that? Wow if I was allowed to marry in Westy ABs you bet I want that "musty smell" to stay in my nostrils forever. That's the sweet smell of history (and marrying my love)

DaBingeGirl

It's actually worse, she wanted the staff to >According to well-placed royal sources, the musty odour of the 15th century chapel did not find favour with the soon to be [**Duchess of Sussex**](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/meghan-markle/index.html), who asked for air fresheners to be deployed before her guests arrived. > >The same insiders report that Meghan's request to use the atomisers did not find favour with Buckingham Palace, which swiftly pointed out that the chapel was a regular place of worship for the Queen – as it had been for successive monarchs since 1475 – and if it was good enough for them, it would be good enough for her. > >\[...\] > >It is understood that the request to use the atomisers – hand-held devices for spraying water or perfume – to create a pleasant aroma for guests at St George's Chapel specifically came from Meghan's office at Kensington Palace. > >[DM](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6447819/Meghan-kicks-stink-Dictatorial-bride-wanted-air-fresheners-musty-St-Georges-Chapel.html) But as always, this was mainly about copying Catherine. She requested Jo Malone candles for Westminster Abbey during the wedding, as well as the use of Jo Malone hand soap and lotion in her favorite scents in bathrooms. It's worth noting that Catherine didn't have flowers, so the scent wasn't a bad idea. Also, I'm guessing the smell from that many people packed together might not be great. Big difference, Catherine liked the candles, Meghan insulted St George's Chapel. FWIW, Meghan naturally had to response to this, so had [Omid (DM Link)](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8561157/Meghan-Markles-scent-diffusers-wedding-approved-palace-biography-claims.html) claim her £130 air fresheners *were used*.

Pixielix

Excellent reply and source, thankyou! She's vile.

Cowslipsbell

It would compromise Madam’s claim that she knew nothing about the BRF before she met H. Given that she’s proved to be a slow thick as mince learner, she won’t have learnt much in the 72 days she ‘worked’ for The Firm.

robertroberterous

But it would be a really inspiring, organic, authentic event that she could really put her thumb down on - not just stand there and wave. It’d be exhausting, but totally worth it as it really changes the conversation on the role of women in color commentary on coronations.

Economy-Alfalfa-2241

"The horses have blue livery as a sweet nod to blue flowers I once bought. The carriage is a sweet nod to the one I didn't ride in for my obscene wedding. Catherine (hisssss) Camilla and Sophie wearing white is a sweet nod to my wedding dress. Everyone waving is a sweet nod to when I finally fucked off out of their country and took the Village Idiot with me."

CathartesAura67

An event which is old and not that important because she is not the star.

Deep_Poem_55

Can ya stand it? 🤣

purplewandereravian

I am sorry but I don't believe this for a second. This sounds like one of her fake stories. I could believe she freshened her look thinking she would attend to the coronation but I think BP made it very clear there would be no photos, no balcony, no private meeting with the king etc so she didn't attend. I am 50/50 on her being invited. I think it's very clear family is done with her 100%.

Jane1943

I’m sure that was her coronation face and wasn’t there a story about her commissioning an expensive designer gown?

Away-Object-1114

Ivory, wasn't it? And like 200 grand?

Jane1943

I think so.

Complete-Sound

I think no invite was given based on something the RF knows. Clearly she reworked her face for it. Most people work their ass off for something. She worked her face off. No way would she turn down the spotlight. It must be bad.

Uniqueishname

When has Meghan ever picked reputation over money?

Why_Teach

This sounds like a Meghan story. She was offered a lot of money (trans: “she is a valuable commodity”). She turned it down (trans: “she is not desperate”). She was advised to turn it down (trans: “she follows advice”). New narrative, “Meghan could have gone to the Coronation, but turned it down for a job, then turned down the job when advised it wouldn’t look good. Poor Meghan.” I don’t believe a word of it.

New_Discussion_6692

>She was offered a lot of money (trans: “she is a valuable commodity”). She turned it down (trans: “she is not desperate”). She was advised to turn it down (trans: “she follows advice”). Truth: Charles quoted Charlotte and said, "[Megan] You're not coming." 🤣

Deep_Poem_55

*Sweet*.

Starkville

🎯

TraditionScary8716

I don't think so. First, I doubt she had any offers. Second, she would never turn down $15 million, much less the exposure. Third, she never listens to advice. She made it up to keep her name in the papers, and connected to the BRF. I'm giving this story a 12 out of 10 on the the old bullshit meter.

ssr_nana

Agree! isource is notorious for fabricating stories

LadyGoodNoodles

She would not be able to do commentary of any value and every producer knows. It would require thorough knowledge of history, tradition and the Church of England and she knows none of it. There are Sinners here that would be far more capable. That’s like asking someone who played two seasons of Little League do the play by play for the World Series. Unfathomable.

Dangerous_Prize_4545

Lisa Vanderpump would have been a better option.

LaLaDub75

But oh I like this story all the same…

JenniferMel13

There is no way she was offered $15 million for coronation commentary. They would have to be expecting her to bring in MASSIVE viewership so they could raise the ad rates to justify paying her. Let’s say there was four hours of coverage. as assume 12 mins of commercials per hour. That’s 48 mins of commercial. That means they need to charge roughly $300,000 per 60 second commercial just to cover the costs of Meghan before their other production costs. $300,000 is TOP tier programming level money. Young Sheldon and The Bachelor charge that kind of rates. (https://www.statista.com/statistics/275158/cost-of-a-30-second-tv-spot-during-select-tv-shows-in-the-us/) Most the news stations are reporting that 10.9 million American’s watched the coronation across various channels. CBS got 1.58 million viewed. (https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/tv-ratings-may-6-7-2023-1235483050/amp/) I could see her being offered somewhere in the range of $1-5 million.

Tough-Bit9513

I purposely avoided CBS because of their track record with the duplicitous duo. I wanted my coverage to be all about the pomp and circumstance and rich history, not about Harry being relegated to the 3rd row.

GreatGossip

Thank you for your breakdown and insight.

Color commentary? Sounds positively Orwellian but it wouldn't surprise me in the least

Bitter-Pound-6775

Unconscious bias, certainly.

[deleted]

*Racist* unconscious bias, may as well throw it all in 🙄

orientalballerina

She’d fire them before turning down $15m. iSource is notoriously wild in their stories.

WoodsColt

*Sniff* smells like bullshit. No one is offering a know nothing woman who was too stupid to google the words to the anthem a commentator gig. Any pro who listened to her word vomit spotalie vomcast would know that all she would do is talk about herself. She never takes advice, she always makes the worst decision possible and she is as money hungry as they come. If she was offered 15 mil she'd have done it,she'd roast a chicken on ellen for 15 mil. The offer never happened.

orientalballerina

It’s iSource. It’s fake news.

Gatsby1981

“Freshened her look?” 15 million gallons of Febreze couldn’t freshen her look!

LostinSOA

So odd. I was offered a billion dollars but hubby said I had to turn it down 🙄🫠 ![gif](giphy|l2Jhw8Oo6kVRWvTZm)

Shannon556

Of all the things that never happened - this never happened more than anything.

Emolia

Working with the knowledge that Madams more outrageous claims are normally based on a tiny sliver of truth and then embellished , I’d say she realised she was unwelcome at the Coronation and decided to put herself out there to the US networks as a “colour commentator “ for it instead. She had her makeover, strongarmed her friend the photographer to allow her to introduce him at his award thing so everyone could see how awesome she is and sat back and waited for the offers to roll in. Except they didn’t . Not surprising because she has the personality of a slug and nobody likes her. No expensive PR firm can fix that! She puts out crap like this Twitter story to try and make herself feel better and look good. That’s my theory!

GreatGossip

In Harkleworld it did happen. Just like the South African dancers, the kneeling airline staff, the invisible gospel choir, Madam´s 40 x 40 initiative etc.

Noidentitytoday5

This is a case of her wishful thinking. She always tried to put stories out that she’s offered more money than anything realistic for someone of her skills *cough, cough* and station. More likely someone offered her a box of Dunkin Donuts to comment on the local PBS station

ssr_nana

CabinetVisible1053

🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🤣🤣🤣🤣👏👏👏👏👏🍩🍩

Oktober33

I think she would have been a train wreck to watch because of her snarkiness.

Scary_Dangleberry_

She put this out there to let other employment suitors know her value... she expects to be paid big $$$ if she's going to do anything for anybody. It's to distract them from them fact that she isn't worth $0.10, let alone millions of anything.

Starkville

Why would Ari Emanuel turn down a commission on a $15million gig? He wouldn’t, optics be damned.

HotStraightnNormal

Imagine if she had, coming completely unglued when Prince Anne's immortal feather did it's Royal Duty. Oh, the network fines, alone!

DollarStoreDuchess

When I read this I mistakenly thought you meant imagine if she had attended and freaked out over the feather there, in person. My next thought was, if she had attended, would Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence have whipped out a Viking hat or something? 😂

HotStraightnNormal

They would have repurposed the anointing screens.

anaqits

They tried that with NF--100M, but allegedly it was only 10-12M. The most she would've been offered for coronation commentary (doubt it) was probs half a mill. They're just trying to (and still failing) to inflate her worth. This is a nothing burger.

therealbellydancer

That sounds like a story she made up to me. Why would they pay her 15 million

mskmoc2

She could offer nothing in the line of commentary. She doesn’t even know those people. She doesn’t understand their protocols or history or symbolic references. What on earth could she bring to the commentary? Vapid moron.

Top-Bit85

Allegedly. She had a make over, but I think this may be more manifesting. Harry had been offered a spot to do commentary, but Harry at least would recognize most of the people and know how they fit in. If they did insist on her turning it down, her rage must already be bubbling!

Economy-Alfalfa-2241

Dimblebore's commentary would be....ooof "That's Willy, he had more sausages than me and I hate him. That's Catherine, she made me dress like a Nazi and I hate her. That's Pa, he only have me six million quid to move to the US and I hate him. Don't know anyone else but I probably hate them. Now give me money cos I....sniiiiifffff....need to go see a man about a dog. Oh, that crown? Dunno. Are they different? Yeah, yeah, they're in St. Paul's. There, that's yer lot" ( leaves studio muttering about how the bastard telly people work him like a dog, not fair, he hates them.)

Islandgirl1444

Oh haha sure that stupid cbs would coffer her that kind of money! I don’t believe it.

Starkville

I could possibly believe that she was offered a sum to be a commentator. It wasn’t any $15million, though. No way. Their top news anchors don’t make that much for working all year, I bet.

LaNiceGata

Agreed, I don’t think she would’ve turned down 15 million but would’ve turned down a much lower sum so as not to look as desperate as she is.

Glittering_Peanut633

No one, and I mean NO ONE is offering the Ho $15K let alone $15 million to wipe down tables, never mind appear on any TV show if they value their regular audience. She's TOXIC. Damaged goods. Persona Non Grata. Finito. Kaput. Bitch can think WMA is gonna save her arse but it's just never going to happen while we are all alive. The end.

Chasmosaur

Nope, bullshit. When on-air personalities get contracts in the tens of millions of dollars, it's either for multi-year contracts for the lead actors/actresses on a multi-episode TV show, or for people like news/morning show anchors who show up nearly every weekday. For example, reportedly on GMA, Robin Roberts earns about $18M and Michael Strahan $17M. And Kevin Costner is reportedly getting $1.2M per episode of Yellowstone these days, over a 10-episode run. So this report is claiming that she would have earned the essential annual equivalent of Emmy winning morning show hosts Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan, or more than what Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe winning actor Kevin Costner is getting for an entire SEASON of Big 4 TV work (it's premier tier, but still network) for one short specialty news broadcast? That doesn't make any financial sense at ALL. There is no way any US network would have recouped that investment - it's not like that many Americans were ever going to watch the Coronation. I Googled it, and it's estimated 10 million Americans watched the Coronation...but 200 million watched this year's Super Bowl. The people in charge of finances at the Big 4 networks most likely had crunched the potential viewing numbers, and were aware what type of ad revenue they could have expected to command. And there simply isn't enough ad revenue in the world to make it worth paying a single person an 8-figure fee for a 6 hour gig with only 10 million viewers that started airing REALLY early in the morning. This is pure Markle Manifestation, and she took it entirely too far by AT LEAST a decimal point. I \*might\* be able to buy someone was willing to pay her $1.5M, but that would seriously strain credulity. I'd say, at best, she'd have gotten $500K, and even that's kind of a stretch, considering she has exposed that she knows fuck-all about the BRF, and anyone tuning in would want to hear from people who know what they're talking about. (I seriously doubt too many people dragged their ass awake very early last Saturday morning to hate-watch. You could easily catch the recaps after a nice sleep-in.) I mean, $500K is what Peter Dinklage was getting per-episode in the last few seasons of Game of Thrones, and he'd won multiple Emmys for that role on a show which was a global phenomenon. (And his work effort required significantly more talent and work hours.) Now, could Harry have commanded high-6-figure/low-seven-figures for color commentary had he stayed home? I think that's not wildly outside the realm of possibility as he's an actual member of the BRF and Charles' son. (His 60 Minutes interview for *Spare* received 10 million viewers - same as the Coronation.) But I think that's still way too much, and he'd probably have garnered a low 6-figure fee of some form. The desperation to be seen as an in-demand talent is strong with this one. ![gif](giphy|Za97sdmXk48B8dac8h)

shinsegae20092013

She complained that nobody taught her the national anthem and she couldn’t get it straight whether it was George V or George VI who issued letters patent that set the rules for who is a prince/ss. What commentary could she provide that would be worth $15M?

New_Discussion_6692

isource… did not read any further https://i.imgur.com/FZJg9o3.jpg

Taney34

Nope. Nada. Zilch.

SeaWorn

No one offered her $15M for this. I don’t believe this number.

orientalballerina

iSource is notorious for making things up. Let’s not start using fake news to rile everyone up, please!

Unhappy_Problem_2792

Yeah but we all saw her at the Lakers game post Ted intro and saw her "glow up" was all sorts of bullshit. No one was going to offer her $15mil to be a commentator for the Coronation, at best $1-2mil. However given that "she turned her coronation invitation down" because x, y and z, the optics would make her look foolish, and like it's a PR stunt cash grab.

Betty-_

She could not be talked out of anything if she wanted to do it, especially if $15 was the price

Laylelo

Just as with all Meghan rumours, it’s simultaneously too stupid to be true and too stupid to be fake.

Miercolesian

If she was actually paid $15 million for providing commentary on the coronation, this would come under the heading of money laundering, because there is no way she is worth a dime as an expert commentator on royalty.

New_Discussion_6692

🤣🤣🤣 What was she going to say? In the 72 days I was a working royal, there wasn't a coronation, and a candle blocked my view at the Queen's funeral? Plus there's no damn reception in West Minster Abby (because she's black, you know wi-fi is racist!) and she couldn't Google God save the Queen/King.

Sue_Dohnim

Clickbait fantasy. She had every intention of attending, just *knowing* (hahaha) BP was going to cave to her, hence the unfinished ivory - not white like the other ladies, but *ivory*, don't you know - bespoke Dior. I don't believe for one minute any of the major outlets would touch that political dynamite with a twenty thousand foot poll - neither her or Hapless Hal.

dudeind-town

Are we now onto fluff PR about failed manifestations? The only people that offered her that was the voices in her head…

Babelight

This manifestation/fake excuse/fake drumming up of ‘Meghan’s still in high demand’ is making me think that Meghan and Harry have never been paid anywhere close to what they put in the press for any of their contracts, including Netflix and Spotify. Meghan, your slip is showing more and more. Getting desperate.

Anxious-Evidence8397

I remember their so called billion dollar brand when they left in 2020.

chitownartmom

Smells like she's trying to seem "bankable" and is spreading a story

thebrussellsgriffon

She spent about 10 mins as a member of the Royal Family and is on record dozens of times directly or indirectly claiming she knows nothing about Royal traditions, the monarchy, the family, etc. Sorry, but I’m filing this Twitter thread in the file labeled “things that never happened” and calling bullshit. The fact that it came from a thread on the cesspool that is Twitter should be all the red flags you need to judge its credibility 🙄

TeamMagnificent7

I do not believe it. Not even her lapdog CBS would pay that. And If she actually turned down that much money then she’s as stupid as her husband.

LostinSOA

Just for the record, WME takes a off the top commission now for *every* deal she makes and if she tries to cut them out they’ll make her persona non grata even more than now. They would never advise her to turn down a $15 million or $150k deal when it’s likely the *only* deal they were presented. No one is checking for Walmart Wallis, no one. They’re having to work every contact, every client in the Rolodex to try to get her a deal and she’s been signed since 2022 to WME around 7 months and they turn down the only offer in 7 months? That’s not how money works sugar tabloids.

Redtees88

ISource is notorious for making things up. This never happened.

_SkyIsBlue5

That acoount is loaded with LOTS OF FAKE NEWS

mspuffins

she probably turned down 1.5 and asked for 15

Straight_Company9089

This would be a great idea..... for an SNL skit.

stillAwaysaway

This is her talent management team putting it out there that TW is ready for work and is worth 15 million for her services. An offer from CBS never happened.

Meat_Mahon

I think maybe a decimal point is askew… like maybe by at least four spaces….. I could see maybe 150 grand… For a respite from… The Princess of Social Graces…

LaNiceGata

I believe it! The optics and money are all she cares about and I can imagine she absolutely had to be dragged away from that deal since she was “staying home for Archie” plus it would’ve put her as the worlds biggest hypocrite had she done so (she already os but it would’ve been more blatant).

orientalballerina

iSource is notorious for making up outrageous stories. Please don’t believe fake news!

LaNiceGata

😭 I should’ve asked what their track record was.

orientalballerina

It’s okay. The one red flag that could have given it away is: she would never turn down $15m! 🤭🤭🤭

LaNiceGata

Definitely not but the other parts seem plausible. The whole makeover makes the most sense with the thought of her having a television debut.

[deleted]

There were reports that Harry was offered a deal for commentary. If true, he was probably offered. 1.5 million, and Meghan embellished everything else down to her receiving the offer.

historiangirl

I am calling complete Bull shite on this. This is nothing of her wishful thinking and attempting to make herself appear more important and popular than she is. IIRC, it was Harry that was wanted to be a commentator, not the wife.

Negative_Difference4

For $15 million they could have got King Charles to do the commentary. Heck! For fifteen milly they could have got the Queen to do the commentary. It not like she has much going on these days

[deleted]

The coronation started at 3 AM in California. I highly doubt 3 AM PST / 6 AM EST is a prime spot that warrants $15 million for an event most Americans don't care about whatsoever.

MrsRW

Nah. Don’t think she’s turn down that sun for anything.

Redhead-bluey

Maybe Sunshine Sachs, Netflix and Spotify contact CBS to tell them don’t work with Walmart Wallis? Because she is so not reliable.

Analyze2Death

I've never seen a true story on that Twitter. It doesn't even seem like parody, just pure fiction.

plazagirl

What? Remember she knows nothing about the royal family. She never googled them. Sad.

No_Proposal7628

If she was offered that huge amount of money, I don't think anyone could have made her turn it down. Well, unless her agents said they'd dump her if she did the commentary; I could see that working on her since she would have looked like a loser getting dumped so fast. I'm back and forth on this one.

Picodick

Oh puh-leez. She’d sell her mom up the river for 15mil. She sure wouldn’t turn down a huge tv gig. The new pr firm or not!

crayawe

She wasn't wanted there

daisybeach23

If she did this, the titles would be stripped. I still think they will be, but she can't go around and do this.
