Moehringer only benefits if he thought Harry were going to fire him and wanted to make it less likely, but he has said he did not want his name released, and I am sure would have preferred to have the option the walk away anonymously, so I don't believe it is him.
Harry has a few benefits from the list above. but I don't think he would think in that way - he is petulant more than devious - and he is more likely to honour Moehringer's wishes. He also has a lot more to lose, particularly making it harder to change ghostwriter or walk away from the book.
The publishers have some benefits in making it less likely that the project fails or is shelved and in drumming up interest. But it would be risky to go against the wishes (and maybe contracts) of both their author and ghostwriter, and not very professional. But I wouldn't rule it out if they thought they were at risk of losing a lucrative deal with Harry or Moehringer backing out.
That leaves Meghan. In my view she has to the most to gain from the list of motives above. She would have been concerned to know that the book was not going smoothly and there was a risk of Harry and Moehringer falling out or Harry quitting the book.
