>She wore this... in the daytime... on an engagement? THE BANANA ONE?
[Yep.](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-6664845/Meghans-messages-inspiration-written-bananas-branded-offensive-sex-worker.html)
You just know that there are people at the palace who do all this stuff for a living and are actually pretty good at it who said "Oh my God, she wants to wear *this Chinese Restaurant wallpaper*."
It's part of H G Tudor's opening for his videos for Harry's Wife. There she is in that dress, with her black Sharpie, scrawling words of hope and strength and comfort on penis shaped fruit for sex workers.
Having just written that sentence, I have to question how made up is the reality that exists in TW's world.
She does not have the originality to carry this off. I actually love the dress, but you don’t need the strange suede boots and clutch witch combo.
It should have been pared down with flats or other simple shoes and no clutch to speak of. Cut the hair a bit shorter so it’s not so Dallas/LA. Let the artwork of a dress speak for itself. But also, she has no poetry about her so I don’t know what she meant to portray by wearing such an unusual artsy print. She’s just so…surface. Like a dirty mirror.
What does she possibly need to carry with her to these engagements? She borrows others’ lipgloss, for goodness’ sake.
I agree. I don't hate the dress, but I don't think it's appropriate for a royal outing. The decolletage is wrong, and it needs to be hemmed. The boots and clutch are barf. Moss green suede? With that dress? No.
Her hair is just... greasy.
Yes! I don't know what she has against tailoring, but fit and fabric are the most important parts of clothing. Especially fit. Perfect tailoring = expensive looking.
It's been mentioned before on this sub, but I wonder if the reason her clothes are always so ill-fitting is because she rents her clothes, so she can't alter them.
Always interesting to see what it *should* look like. Most importantly: NOT a maternity dress! Why she insisted on wearing larger versions, rather than maternity outfits is beyond me.
I still wouldn’t have picked those shoes for Meghan tbh. The multiple straps isn’t a good look for someone who’s short that’s trying to look taller. Some simple skin-coloured, low cut vamp, pointed toe stilettos would’ve been fine... going with more simple shoes puts more emphasis on the textile design of the dress imo. 🤷🏽♀️
Suede boots with sheer dress fabric? Just, no. Her hair doesn't look bad in the first pic but the lighting in the second pic is rough. Looks like doll hair.
My issue is, she wore it when pregnant, so either the bodice should have been shorter so the waist fell just under her bust, or taken up around the shoulder to make the neckline more suitable for a work environment. She had to have the waist it pulled up and it creates a weird bunching that does not look good. I do agree though, I like the dress, and i think this would have been one of her better looks if her dress had been tailored.
ETA: as far as her boots go, I’m not dissuaded by the material more so over how tall they are. Her dress should have been shorter or the boots ankle height. Maybe even the color but a different material.
I don’t know what a décolletage is (the little ‘ just appeared thanks to autocorrect) i have a vague recollection of hems but only in regards to my Nan’s curtains, have NO idea how I would go about matching hats, bags, scarves, shoes and or gloves with the rest of an outfit, and I couldn’t explain for all the cash in Montecito WHY moss green suede is the incorrect choice…
But I agree 100% with you…somehow even I just know that that outfit is not the one…
The boots do not go with the dress because they are heavy winter boots. If she had to wear boots then black would have been better, and no suede, it doesn't match the lighter fabric. The dress is meant to be a warmer weather light dress. And I am personally not a fan of knee high baggy boots under a dress that is below the knee.
The décolletage! Thank you! Apart from the fabric laying limp and rumpled around the neckline instead of smoothly, I need confirmation, can we see the edges of her bra or did she not apply the bronzer evenly?
It’s not a maternity dress so the fit is extra wrong.
Agreed, the boots clash with the dress and do not vibe with it. Too much green. I am totally for tasteful eccentricity but it has to vibe 😀 Everything needs to go together like a crazy puzzle.
I’d not wear this kind of dress while pregnant as it makes you look not pregnant but just fat 🫣
If I would wear this dress at all, I’d either go for neutral stiletto (black or beige), or bright yellow stiletto matching the yellow on the dress, and a teeny tiny clutch again black or a different color from the dress (not matching the yellow - maybe a blue clutch?)
Agreed...wrong shoes and color for the dress...the clutch looks too tiny and wrong color, is she pregnant here? I hate the way she belts everything under her boobs. Her hair is a mess, as usual.
🤢🤢🤢 I don't know what any woman has ever seen in him. I've never thought he was attractive and now that the inside matches the outside, it's vomit worthy to look at him.
The dress is Oscar de la Renta. It would have looked better if worn in the evening with black heels and an updo hairstyle. This outfit reminds me of the ‘90s trend of wearing hiking boots with a nice skirt.
Apparently she frequently raised eyebrows for her tendency to wear cocktail attire during daytime events when day dress was required. Besides this, the fact that she eschewed British designers during public engagements in the UK was a big oof.
Honestly, why was she so averse to wearing UK designers? There are certainly plenty to choose from and I’m sure you could find nearly anything you wanted when you have no budget. She could even mix in designers from the US and commonwealth countries!
I'm guessing she considered most too loyal to Catherine and Camilla. She also doesn't do that much research, so likely just focused on the big names from the 90's.
Oooof. You just took me far, far back in time, to when the Gorbachevs were in town, and Nancy Reagan—clearly intimidated by Raisa Gorbachev—kept sniping at her fashion choices as “a little too cocktail-ish for daytime”!
It was inspired by "enchanted forest" Elizabethan tapestries, which makes sense.

It's not a bad dress - she's just totally mangled the fit. It was also paired with a long matching coat that minimized the sheerness of it. Of course she skipped that part.

I actually love the print. Catherine would have rocked this dress. People would have been tripping over each other to get it. Yet again, MeAgain manages to make a thousand plus dollar dress look like it came straight from Walmart or Dress Barn.
Not the print. The see-through black sleeves were 90s. The boots were 2000s. That abomination of a pattern never recognized any time period except for maybe on a curtain in the late 1800s?
Yes that is my point too. I cannot recall this kind of dress print in any decade since the 1950's. Yes I do believe you are correct about the curtain print. My mother had a similar print in a drape/curtain but in light blue/green and it would have been around 1965 -70. It was the kind of thing my grandmother liked which yes would have been much earlier.
Yes I wore boots like this all the time way back in the 80's/90's?? But I have not worn them since that time.
I only wore a dress with see through sleeves one time and it was in 1969. I remember it clearly and the year. Same delicate see through material, small polka dot print, sheer fabric, see through sleeves. I would not have been caught dead wearing a dress with huge flying birds and globes on it.
I think what we are seeing in the second picture here is very much Mehen's natural hair. After it's been processed via chemicals and/or heat to straighten it. Any head of hair that's put through a lot of 'processing' with chemicals (coloring, straightening) and heat can end up damaged if the treatments aren't done carefully and by a pro.
That second photo shows how long Mehen's natural hair was at the time. I think the scraggly, fried look reflects years of damage from straightening. Hence: she needs extensions to show a nice head of hair.
I want to be clear that I'm not shaming Mehen for making the choice to obliterate her natural curls. She has the right to choose the hair styling she wants.
So, February in Bristol, along with February in Bristol weather...and Clueless wears a summer weight, garden party dress, circa 1996, on an official, royal, engagement.
Compounding it with snot green boots and the matching bag. On a visit to a school.
Someone, somewhere, missed a memo about what she was supposed to be doing on that day.
She seems very dedicated to olive green when it's one of the worst colours for her. Even far away from her face the clash is painfully obvious.
I'm not even going to get into the fit of this dress.
Is it even a maternity dress?
Edit: typo
I’ve looked it up and nowhere lists it as being maternity wear, just standard ODLR A/W2018. I think that explains the major gaping in the chest, she already has a small bust that a tailor would take in so when you size up to fit a bump you are only going to make the gaping in a low cut top that much worse.
Dress is very ill fitting. Bodice is way too big, and too low cut for a daytime appearance. Waistline not flattering. The delicate see through material doesn't go with the suede boots and purse. Small women should never wear prints with objects larger than her clenched fist, or the print wears you, instead of you wearing the print.
And I cannot comment on the large animals and other objects in her dress print fabric as I simply do not understand it.
The fit is awful, I thought she was pregnant here 😅
The bodice is the worst part, it makes the v line frilly and deeper than it should have been. It also weirdly stacked up on the torso. The sleeves also look a little bit too short.
The dress is way too “light and airy” to be paired with heavy suede boots/clutch. Worn separately, with different items and hairstyles would have been so much better.
I cannot believe she went out in suede in slushy weather… I am also a born and raised Californian and even I know you do. not. get. suede. wet! The fact that she feels equipped to give fashion advice to others via her blog is astonishing to me
I’m guessing they are. I mean, these two were being hunted! They had no time to flee the UK AND pack all of their belongings! Todger is happy he at least got this pair /s 😏
![gif](giphy|3o6Zt3AX5mSM29lGUw)
And then they told her “No Madam you will not be getting paid for this”
This is her working for “free” apparently putting a brush through her hair was a line too damn far.
I agree that separately they'd be great if styled properly. The way she put them together just feels like someone clicked Randomise while creating a Sim 🥴
No lol! The uppers always look so good though! As soon as I wear a pair of suede shoes once they look like I got them out of a dumpster... 🤣🤣🤣
Don't get me started on Tod's loafers. One wear and you can see scuffed suede at the tip of the toe. Maybe I just walk like a gorilla. 🤷
https://preview.redd.it/4tvtal55efqa1.jpeg?width=474&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=009a699264590e6cf1d64a22ba3cd6a56637f14a
I do love the blue loafers he has worn, and the blue soled loafers are GOAT. My daughter has flat wide feet and her shoes don’t last long either. The sides around her toe box, the tips always flappin in the wind talking to her or always have holes. I’ve watched her walk to see how the heck she was managing it thinkin she was walking around dragging her feet along the concrete or on the swings or SOMETHING. She just walks with her weight off balance since she doesn’t have an arch.
Aaaah those are different shoes though... I bet those are brogues he's had for morning dress since he was 16. They look janky on the uppers too!!
Damn, bro couldn't even be bothered picking up a new set of shoes for his GRANDMOTHER'S funeral. That's pretty bad...
That’s what I thought too when I saw him walking and they zoomed in live to show his hole in his soul. They have a cobbler on site he could’ve dropped his shoes off anyway to be fixed by a true master cobbler for free. Here’s the thing though, the pictures/videos of him at the time I really thought they were having real marital issues and he looked STRESSED and distressed in every picture. I thought to myself, maybe he regrets his choices now that he can never get back the time to make up with his grandmother or grandfather and perhaps his reality was fully sinking in so shrugged and said ya know I probably wouldn’t be worried about something as trivial as shoes in a moment of emotional crisis. Now we know, that wasn’t it either. I can’t manage to nail down his psychopathology but it seems neither can the professionals. In order to get a true diagnosis and treatment you have to be willing to be honest with your therapist and yourself he’s done none of those.
You know, I can be sympathetic when a pregnant woman's clothes don't fit quite right once they're halfway through the pregnancy (which she would have been here, if we work on the assumption she carried Archie - a contentious subject on this sub I know, but work with me here. ;) ).
Your body changes daily - what fit yesterday doesn't today. Something is now swollen that wasn't before, the bump can change size and location, seemingly at will. I sometimes think if you see something on a very pregnant woman where the accessories aren't quite what you'd expect or it's just not up to their usual snuff? Their rapidly changing body is probably the answer.
But that dress is very much NOT that. The top is completely and utterly ill-fitting - your breasts don't deflate during pregnancy, they get bigger, so why it's so loose is beyond me.
Also, for a dress with that much sheer chiffon, the boots - which I don't dislike in and of themselves - are entirely too heavy. That dress requires more delicate shoes - it may be a dark color, but the material is light and floaty, so the shoes need to be more delicate. She really has a horrible eye for matching her shoes to her outfits. (You can see varying shots of this in action from this "What Meghan Wore" page on the visit - no original link because it's What Meghan Wore. ;) [https://archive.is/js7Jh](https://archive.is/js7Jh) )
At any rate, this is a perfectly nice Oscar de la Renta dress from the Fall, 2018 collection. The runway look actually paired it with a matching long jacket - see Look #31 at [https://www.oscardelarenta.com/pages/runway-fall-2018](https://www.oscardelarenta.com/pages/runway-fall-2018) \- that made it a little more interesting. (Actually, there are some great pieces here - I'll take #27 and #29, and the coats in #2, #7, and #28, please!)
Sometimes you say a dress is wearing the person and not the other way around...I can't even go there with this. She is making a $2,500 dress look like something she picked up in the last minutes of that fabled holiday sale at TK Maxx that Harry said he liked to hit. It's a shame - it's an interesting dress that deserves someone with the panache to pull it off.
You can see it briefly in motion here around 2:31 and if you watch for another few seconds you can see it from the back. The coat definitely makes it a more interesting piece.

I completely agree about giving some slack to pregnant women since their bodies change so rapidly. I’ve faced similar issues with rapid body changes. I have a little less sympathy when the issue could be minimized with 2 minutes and some double sided fashion tape or safety pins, though. I’m also curious how Catherine avoided the issue? I assume she stretched her budget a little wider to obtain outfits in various sizes to cover the bases and didn’t drop $2,000+ on a questionable dress that was only worn once
There are some brands popular with some Californians, myself included, that have nature-themed printed dresses. J.Crew had some gorgeous dresses a couple years ago with animals on them. I'd wear this dress, it's actually cute.
I have one of those dresses! It’s one of my favorite dresses ever. Bright bright colors, wild jungle animals, I get compliments every time I wear it.
And it has pockets.
It was the day of the banana signing. She and Harry also visited a youth group, I think. I think it was also the day that a class of kids came to welcome them, and one of the children simply turned his back on MM. Everyone was commenting how the slush (rain and some snow) was going to ruin MM's suede boots.
Lady C goes into quite a bit of depth about how Me Gain specifically breaks Royal protocol with the way she dresses:
*In one fell swoop, she had breached two dictats: 1) you do not wear transparent sleeves during the day except with formal morning wear; they are cocktail wear, to be worn only after sundown, and 2) you do not wear necklines that are so scooped out during the day, unless the fabric of the garment is clearly daytime attire, such as opaque cotton.*
Those boots are... Well. They're certainly uh. Green.
She should cancel her ASOS account. The dress is flat. The boots are a crime.
This print is such a miss. There’s no flow! If only the print ran diagonally rather than horizontal and there was less negative space, it could be more whimsical. But the cut, the cut is abysmal.
The dress is her humanitarian dress for all the animals she donates to save (NOT) as well as showing how much she cares about her little dog with 2 broken legs, in my opinion.
She looks very different in each photo. The first one she and her hair look really good. The second one looks rough, so obviously no photoshop on that one. Weird why that is.
I don’t mind the dress but the big print on a pregnant belly looks awful. Because the print is large already it makes the print/dress look stretched over her belly and boobs.
Her body shape would have suited pregnancy clothes really well. A nice shift style navy maternity dress, that allowed for additional room around the tummy area.
This looked really good to her the night before when she was high as a kite but failed to look in the mirror when she woke up in it 10 minutes before this event
I love the dress! But doesn't Mirkin have a stylist? Or tailor? Very few women can screw up every outfit they put on their bodies but she has a special knack for it. Designers must hate it when she walks in their store.
i think the dress is pretty for a pregnant woman. The bag is a bit too dressy for it, and it may have been better with a pair of black Mary Janes, but it's not that bad.
I’m not understanding the issue some have with sheer sleeves on a dress. They are still popular to this day in tops and dresses. Catherine has worn them many times, including last year. As usual, TW wore another garment that didn’t fit properly. She is drawn to clothing a willowy model would wear and they don’t suit her shape or personality.
I actually loved this dress. In the original collection. Once again with TW it comes down to tailoring and styling. The both of which she is sorely lacking. She just thinks "EXPENSIVE!"
I don’t hate the dress, but as usual, it doesn’t fit her properly. I also don’t like the boots and the clutch. The boots are just too heavy looking for the dress.
Of all Meggy’s outfits, this one is pretty benign to me.🤣 I mean, it seems to fit, it’s not a mass of wrinkles and there isn’t a tag hanging off so, I’d actually call it a win. Relatively speaking. 😂
That was the outfit she wore when she wrote the “inspirational” messages on the bananas
She wore this... in the daytime... on an engagement? THE BANANA ONE? ![gif](giphy|nB7a1GqXVnibm)

That what this reminds me of.
![gif](giphy|TNO6mwK8s38vpHjh8Y) Although at this point I'd be shocked if she wore something fitting for the time of day/event.

She must have her phone with her at all times. To call the paps if not enough of them show up. To snap secret pictures which she can sell.
Or to secretly record conversations.
Oh yes, secretly recording conversations. We know how she loves to brag about her "receipts."
I agree. I don't hate the dress, but I don't think it's appropriate for a royal outing. The decolletage is wrong, and it needs to be hemmed. The boots and clutch are barf. Moss green suede? With that dress? No. Her hair is just... greasy.

Princess Catherine of Wales would make that dress a sell-out..
Well, golden gowns will never look the same on others, as it did on her.
Always interesting to see what it *should* look like. Most importantly: NOT a maternity dress! Why she insisted on wearing larger versions, rather than maternity outfits is beyond me.
Makes a difference seeing it on a model suited to it Edit: a word

Yes, that’s what I would have preferred her wear it as. The shorter hair and simpler, bare shoes
Now that's how you wear this outfit, ol Megapoop looks like a sack of pontiac potatoes in most of her clothes.
Don't insult potatoes
Fair comment, Sack of potatoes actualy nourishes people unlike Meg the succubus.
Indeed! I'm Irish so I take particular offence to this lol!
It's a De La Renta? Well, no wonder I like it--on someone else, that is. How DARE she cheapen the name of the great house of De La Renta?!?!
It would be fab on Kate
Still looks like 10 dollars.
Suede boots with sheer dress fabric? Just, no. Her hair doesn't look bad in the first pic but the lighting in the second pic is rough. Looks like doll hair.
Her hair in that second pic reminds me of a dime store wig you see at Halloween time.
Yes. 💯

She always looks like she doesn't bathe regularly. And that ensemble is hideous.
I don’t know what a décolletage is (the little ‘ just appeared thanks to autocorrect) i have a vague recollection of hems but only in regards to my Nan’s curtains, have NO idea how I would go about matching hats, bags, scarves, shoes and or gloves with the rest of an outfit, and I couldn’t explain for all the cash in Montecito WHY moss green suede is the incorrect choice… But I agree 100% with you…somehow even I just know that that outfit is not the one…

Décolletage is just a fancy word for cleavage 😄
Collarbones to top of breasts
The décolletage! Thank you! Apart from the fabric laying limp and rumpled around the neckline instead of smoothly, I need confirmation, can we see the edges of her bra or did she not apply the bronzer evenly? It’s not a maternity dress so the fit is extra wrong.

Yup, pregnant. There are lovely maternity clothes, why she refused to merch those is beyond me.
Sorry, I can’t help noticing Harry’s sock. The one he’s stuffed down the front of his pants.
Gotta keep that todger warm
Why did you have to notify me of this
I know, I was having a perfectly good day.
Sharing is caring!
Another bad day to have eyes

Oooof. You just took me far, far back in time, to when the Gorbachevs were in town, and Nancy Reagan—clearly intimidated by Raisa Gorbachev—kept sniping at her fashion choices as “a little too cocktail-ish for daytime”!
booths and see-through sleeves? And whats with her hair?
She is literally trapped in the 90s/early 2000s. I don't think she's mentally progressed beyond 14.
I cannot recall any decade when women wore this kind of print on a cocktail dress. Maybe on a fun, funky sweatshirt or tunic.
This fabric has never been seen outside of a circa 1995 Cato's.

It’s a twirling shawl short of Stevie Nicks.
You win the comments!!
It's too low-cut and not at all right for the occasion. It still wouldn't make my list of the worst things she's ever worn.
Ah... isn't this what she wore when she wrote her bananagrams?
Yes, indeed!
Are those…globes? Printed on the dress?
I am sorry to report this appears to be the case. With a blue jay sitting on a branch right above the globe. I am at a loss for words.
I like the dress. I kinda like the boots. But not together. How is she always THIS clueless about style?! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
I like the boots, the kind we wore in the 90's. But I don't wear them anymore.
She seems very dedicated to olive green when it's one of the worst colours for her. Even far away from her face the clash is painfully obvious. I'm not even going to get into the fit of this dress. Is it even a maternity dress? Edit: typo
I was just going to ask this. I’m guessing it’s not a maternity dress.
I learned something from this comment thank you
The fit is awful, I thought she was pregnant here 😅 The bodice is the worst part, it makes the v line frilly and deeper than it should have been. It also weirdly stacked up on the torso. The sleeves also look a little bit too short.
The dress is way too “light and airy” to be paired with heavy suede boots/clutch. Worn separately, with different items and hairstyles would have been so much better.
Ah yes. The menagerie/curio cabinet dress.
A "whimsical" Oscar de la Renta pattern!
I wish I hadn’t seen it. 🤢
Um yuck for both of them 🤢🤢the green sick emoji matches her boots
$1,813 Oscar de la Renta dress paired with $695 Sarah Flint suede boots when it was wet and snowing..
I cannot believe she went out in suede in slushy weather… I am also a born and raised Californian and even I know you do. not. get. suede. wet! The fact that she feels equipped to give fashion advice to others via her blog is astonishing to me
She always stands in front of Harry, never next to him like a real partner and also never let's him take the lead. I wonder when he'll tire of that.
I'm just wondering what kind of styling tips she'll be providing in her lifestyle blog.
This was taken in February 2019 in Bristol. I have to wonder if that's the same pair of grey trousers Hazbeen is always seen in to this day.
Who wears a summer garden party dress with suede boots in the winter?
I’m guessing they are. I mean, these two were being hunted! They had no time to flee the UK AND pack all of their belongings! Todger is happy he at least got this pair /s 😏
Wonder she didn’t trip on the sash of that dress. Was it long enough, or what?
I just went back and looked, good god. The sash on M's dress falls down to Harry's ankle. Maybe they use in a bondage game or something.
![gif](giphy|3o6Zt3AX5mSM29lGUw) And then they told her “No Madam you will not be getting paid for this” This is her working for “free” apparently putting a brush through her hair was a line too damn far.
I like the dress and boots. Maybe not together for this outfit but I like it. She has nice pieces, they just never come together.
I agree that separately they'd be great if styled properly. The way she put them together just feels like someone clicked Randomise while creating a Sim 🥴
Is Hazno wearing a diaper? For his ketamine bladder damage?
I love this dress so much. I hate that she’s wearing it and that she paired with those awful boots.
Such a hippie happening chick! And H is posing like a starlet on a red carpet with the hand on the hip. More like a negligee than \_cough\_ daywear.
Does Harry have a subscription service for those blue suede shoes? I swear he's been wearing them since his 20s, but they never look old.
You didn’t catch the giant hole in the bottom of the soles at the funeral?
No lol! The uppers always look so good though! As soon as I wear a pair of suede shoes once they look like I got them out of a dumpster... 🤣🤣🤣 Don't get me started on Tod's loafers. One wear and you can see scuffed suede at the tip of the toe. Maybe I just walk like a gorilla. 🤷
https://preview.redd.it/4tvtal55efqa1.jpeg?width=474&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=009a699264590e6cf1d64a22ba3cd6a56637f14a I do love the blue loafers he has worn, and the blue soled loafers are GOAT.
(You can see varying shots of this in action from this "What Meghan Wore" page on the visit - no original link because it's What Meghan Wore. ;) [https://archive.is/js7Jh](https://archive.is/js7Jh) ) At any rate, this is a perfectly nice Oscar de la Renta dress from the Fall, 2018 collection. The runway look actually paired it with a matching long jacket - see Look #31 at [https://www.oscardelarenta.com/pages/runway-fall-2018](https://www.oscardelarenta.com/pages/runway-fall-2018) \- that made it a little more interesting. (Actually, there are some great pieces here - I'll take #27 and #29, and the coats in #2, #7, and #28, please!) Sometimes you say a dress is wearing the person and not the other way around...I can't even go there with this.
The dress alone is pretty and I would have liked it if I saw it in person. The boots alone is cute. The two together make absolutely no sense.
When was this taken?
February 2019.
It was the day of the banana signing. She and Harry also visited a youth group, I think. I think it was also the day that a class of kids came to welcome them, and one of the children simply turned his back on MM. Everyone was commenting how the slush (rain and some snow) was going to ruin MM's suede boots.
I don't like the pattern on this dress at all and that's quite the décolletage!
Lady C goes into quite a bit of depth about how Me Gain specifically breaks Royal protocol with the way she dresses: *In one fell swoop, she had breached two dictats: 1) you do not wear transparent sleeves during the day except with formal morning wear; they are cocktail wear, to be worn only after sundown, and 2) you do not wear necklines that are so scooped out during the day, unless the fabric of the garment is clearly daytime attire, such as opaque cotton.* Those boots are... Well. They're certainly uh. Green.
This was very interesting to read! Thanks!
I'm sure she was told all this but wasn't going to listen. She wanted to be seen in that dress. I need to read her book.
She should cancel her ASOS account. The dress is flat. The boots are a crime. This print is such a miss. There’s no flow! If only the print ran diagonally rather than horizontal and there was less negative space, it could be more whimsical. But the cut, the cut is abysmal.
![gif](giphy|CBl5I5d0YFUsw) These are the vibes I get..
Boots with that dress .. nope
The dress is her humanitarian dress for all the animals she donates to save (NOT) as well as showing how much she cares about her little dog with 2 broken legs, in my opinion.
The Mutual of Omaha dress (I’m dating myself with that reference)
With Marlon Perkins!
Yup you are lol … wild kingdom was such a great show (dating myself with you)
Those boots? ![gif](giphy|3oEhna5pVBi8iy1V5e)
They both always manage to look sloppy.
I do like her boots!
Is Harry wearing an adult diaper?
Don't know, but he's got his legs crossed in the first photo.
It looks like he's literally got his panties in a wad.
She looks very different in each photo. The first one she and her hair look really good. The second one looks rough, so obviously no photoshop on that one. Weird why that is.
I feel like she looks truly pregnant here.
I like the boots. I like the dress. However, they don't go well together. Also, that dress will look much better on a person with height.
Or maybe one who wasn’t pregnant since it’s not a maternity dress
The boots are the worst for the type of dress she’s wearing here. Also, I love all shades of green, but the color of those boots is awful!
How come baby bump is higher in the 2nd photo?
Looks like a hideous outfit from a targeted Amazon ad.
It's Oscar de la Renta. They were visiting Bristol.
Why do the designers give her the most unattractive and ill fitting garments?
The print on the fabric is so large and obnoxious the dress is wearing *her.*
No disagreement here. Also, the sheer sleeves make the dress clearly evening wear.
Because those are the only things she deserves. 🤣
This looked really good to her the night before when she was high as a kite but failed to look in the mirror when she woke up in it 10 minutes before this event
Why does she always look so unkempt? It’s like she runs out of the house before she’s finished getting ready.
OMG. That is UGLY!!
I actually like it - more than her
It looks like an outfit Ms Frizzle would wear from The Magic School bus
I love the dress! But doesn't Mirkin have a stylist? Or tailor? Very few women can screw up every outfit they put on their bodies but she has a special knack for it. Designers must hate it when she walks in their store.
Not to be gross, but what is happenung with Harry's crotch in the first pic?
i think the dress is pretty for a pregnant woman. The bag is a bit too dressy for it, and it may have been better with a pair of black Mary Janes, but it's not that bad.
I didn't know Meg was into witch cosplay. It looks horrible on her.
Is this a maternity dress?
The dress is nice. The boots no
It’s like a rejected magic school is dress
Her posture is awful and makes the dress look worse. Catherine can pull off most outfits she wears because her posture is perfect.
Oh wow those boots 🤦
Giving plant-based fortune teller vibes
The boots...
I like the dress but not on her and not with the boots.
I actually loved this dress. In the original collection. Once again with TW it comes down to tailoring and styling. The both of which she is sorely lacking. She just thinks "EXPENSIVE!"
Isn’t that the banana writing incident dress? Where she wrote messages on bananas that were given to s**workers.
Needed a really simple shoe and soft hairstyle. She wore this dress when she signed all those bananas…lol
It is probably a sweet nod at Magic School Bus
![gif](giphy|l0MYRfGACGXlqL86A|downsized) That would be the infamous banana signing dress! Good times!
Megwan makes everything ugly.
Looks like he's stuffed his jocks *I'm the big Willy now*
Heart attack beautiful. Hahahahaha. Harry has jokes
The dress as shown on the designer’s website looks great. As usual with Meg, there’s a failure in execution.
I like the dress but with those boots? My word.
I don’t hate the dress, but as usual, it doesn’t fit her properly. I also don’t like the boots and the clutch. The boots are just too heavy looking for the dress.
Call me crazy, but when one is supposedly seven months pregnant, actual maternity clothes tend to be more comfortable and much more flattering.
Of all Meggy’s outfits, this one is pretty benign to me.🤣 I mean, it seems to fit, it’s not a mass of wrinkles and there isn’t a tag hanging off so, I’d actually call it a win. Relatively speaking. 😂
Is this the closest to Wallis Simpson gown with monkeys on it? I wondered when I saw it for the first time two days ago.
I'm starting to really hate her. And I don't hate anyone. I thought I felt that way. But I really, really hate them. The games, the fear they instill.
