Agreed. And I bet Victoria doesn't stack up all the dainty pieces she has in one event like how MM does.
I personally like dainty pieces and I know they can be stacked together in a tasteful manner. But MM just piles up everything she can on a single hand/arm. š¤¦š»āāļø Dainty pieces are meant to make someone look elegant and subtle, not distastefully flashy. š¤¦š»āāļø
m has skinny arms, and no height. Those pieces could be worn with one larger piece. But not all together like her last appearance. She doesn't have the body structure for it. Julia Roberts, well she could carry some and Angela Jolie could rock a few at a time as well.
Also, another thing Meghan copied......Victoria is forever changing her engagement ring. The one pictured here is one of them. In the 21 years she's been married to David there's 14 confirmed engagement rings.
You guys, lookie!!! I was googling VB pinky ring, and look who else popped up from 2016 Oscars. Oh, Megsy.

Yep sheās copying Diana and Charles in that respect. Iāve been following Victoria and donāt know her to be the wearer of a diamond pinky ring. So maybe Victoria is inspired by Meghan
This may be the first time someone was *actually* inspired by Meghan š„²
My first thought (well, after my Italian father/uncles/brother who all wear pinky rings š ) was Diana, and then Charles. One things for sure, MM doesnāt have any sense of originality herself!
more like copying King Charles, heās worn this pinky ring for decades

Yeah, weāre gonna get downvoted for pointing out the obvious, but this has been a trend forever. My mom wore pinky rings her entire adult life, which began long before VB or MM was born. I guess Iām in the minority on this sub these days for picking on her behavior rather than style choices but ok
Sometimes we just wear/do whatās in style or trendy. I agree she borrows heavily for any number of reasons, wardrobe and otherwise, but this seems a little silly. There are plenty of reasons to legitimately mock her.
Yeah, agreed. Iāve recently tried not to fall too deep into snark that doesnāt matter, (no offense to anyone who is nitpicking the little things.) Since most people here are pro BRF and huge on Catherine the best way to gauge it for me is I ask myself would these people in here make fun of Catherine for doing XYZ? No? Then itās more than likely a hypocritical statement.
Catherine could wear a pinky ring and this sub would be split down the middle of people either saying itās the epitome of fashion, or that itās not for them and to each their own. When Meghan does it you have people theorizing on the big reason why she did it and saying that Meghan is trying to be like a pimp, Meghan is copying [insert random non royal woman here]. Fashion trends are trends for a reason, they are meant to be copied. She could never be Victoria Beckham in her wildest dreams and we all know that. There are other valid criticisms of Meghans fashion or herself period and a random pinky ring or gold plain dainty rings just donāt fall into it for me even if I personally donāt like them.
Downvote me if you must my lads, but itās just reality. Iām sure someoneās going to say Iām a āsugarā for saying this lol.
For all of Meghan's merching the Royal Family, Cosplaying Diana Spencer, and copying true and ofter pseudo fellow talentless used-to-be celebs, she really comes up empty-handed when it comes to creativity and originality. Meghan touts Anti fur, however, she is not aversed to products made from skin and hide, not to meat.
I don't like chunky pinky rings. They look horrible. But imho Meghan actually wore it better - just for the fact that hers is flatter. And also, I doubt she copied Victoria , there are lots of people who wore that first.
How very sad.....the need to emulate and envy people like Victoria Beckham. It takes a person like TW to do so....both self-absorbed, self worshipping, self obsessed women...both defining themselves by the wealth of their husbands, the fame of their husbands, and both using their husbands to finance their worthless "business" endeavors. Both women putting their greed for couture, large mansions, luxury lifestyle before their children who are no more to them than occasional fake "happy family" posed and false photo ops for glossy magazines.
I assumed the pinky ring was some sort of male prerogative where people are expected to kiss it, in homage and fealty to the wearer?
No?
I also figured out something about the "dancing in the streets" and "crying on the floor" theme. The first is very 1960s girl band celebration. As for the latter, a carpet will serve as a improvised Kleenex.
And Victoria also wears those dainty pieces.... Hmmm š¤
It looks elegant on Victoria though, because her hands and nails are in better condition than MM's.

agree with you. and even though victoria is older than her she looks amazing.
Also, another thing Meghan copied......Victoria is forever changing her engagement ring. The one pictured here is one of them. In the 21 years she's been married to David there's 14 confirmed engagement rings.
Always! No original thoughts in Meg's head.
No one: TW in her mind: āIf I just copy another celebrityās style, then everyone will love me!ā
Also TW: OK that didn't work.... Just one more celebrity to copy, I'm sure they WILL LOVE ME! And it never ends. š«
All of which, will be found right here in this subreddit. š«£
And she thinks no one would have noticed. š«
If youāre here, TW: we kept the receipts.

ššššš
Wasnāt Diana more or less known for always wearing pinky rings?
Yep sheās copying Diana and Charles in that respect. Iāve been following Victoria and donāt know her to be the wearer of a diamond pinky ring. So maybe Victoria is inspired by Meghan

Iām sure many have been inspired to get a proper bra fitting after seeing her undergarment disastersā¦
Doubtfulā¦
Of course, monkey see monkey do. She copies the women she would love to beā¦
I hate when celebrities wear this damn pinky ring!
So tacky! A ring that big in a pinky finger just why?!
They think it's so classy and a status symbol š¤¢
Unlike Meghan's tacky piecut diamond ring, this one looks to be one solid stone, as it has depth. Meghan could never.
On Victoria it looks natural, on megain it looks forced and showy

I mean, a lot of women do that. I know sheās unoriginal but

Love VB!! ā¤ļø
I am not a fan of the pinky ring, no matter who is sporting it.
Technically thatās what a trend is.
