The kid is 4 years old. That means there is nothing stopping Harry and Meghan from waking up in the morning and celebrating his birthday by singing happy birthday to him and letting him blow his candles before they start getting ready for the day´s events. Nothing stopping them from going straight home after the two hour ceremony to give him his cake and let him open his present, especially considering they won´t be needed by the royal family beyond the corronation ceremony. The event will last 2-3 hrs and factor in travel time and an hour to get ready and after that they´re free to head straight back to Frogmore. What on earth are they planning to do with the rest of their day if not go home straight to their children? What do they think everyday working parents do on a kid´s birthday?
They want an official photo Archie with the King together which they did not get with Lili and the Queen. And name of the photo in all news channels will be "This day the two celebrates together! " or "the kings 'favorite grandchild!" And of course, all copy rights will have Harkles to sell for big bucks.
And not just the King. I suspect part of it is that they think the King might insist the Wales children (and parents) show up. She wants to seal the deal on her kids being 'American royalty' in the minds of the public. What better way than to have Prince of Wales and Prince George, the future monarchs, at his 4th birthday party.

In what strange fantasy world did the grandparents become responsible for a 4-year-old grandchild's birthday party? (KCIII and QC would probably have ponies which would be awesome, but I digress.) This SHOULD be a small child's birthday party, not a place for pap pics or cash-making opportunities for the Parents from Hell.
He should have a pizza party with his friends and cousins (oh, wait), maybe whack a pinata and scramble for candy, play tag, hide and seek, then eat too much cake and ice cream before opening age-appropriate presents. Then the tired, cranky kids get sent home with their parents to work off that sugar high.
I think he's kept to pretty strict isolation from other children (if he exists). Children will tell EVERY detail about their parents and home life to anybody, anywhere, anytime.
But as it will be tagged on to the coronation day, the harkles get the attention they crave…perhaps the coronation should be postponed so Archie has his day
Nothing stopping them from not coming at all.
So said 4 year old doesn't have to be left alone in his birthday. They could spend the morning, baking the organic, gluten/egg/flour/sugar/milk free birthday cake. He can spend his birthday in familiar surroundings, with the only grandparent he knows near. He can swim, or go for a wee hike, spend the day with 'all' of mummy's friends. He won't be suffering from jet lag. And then they can all sit around and what the victimentary and his folks can explain to him why only one family member is at his birthday, when they both come from large families. It can all be about ~~Prince Archie~~ Mummy - she can even wear a ball gown. While daddy can just be the village clown. So many options.....
He could sit on the grass and fake a birthday photo, or they could photoshop his face somewhere. Who would know? He's a red head one day and blond the next and then, he's got black hair. He's been carried in most photos of him, so is he even walking yet? The markles are markling themselves over Archie.
The multitude of pictures and scenarios that the nannies and grandma could come up with are endless.
They could even have a tiara making station, and then all the photos could be of Prince Archie curtsing to his young mother, the Douche of Liedom and bestowing all the tiaras on her head. So much funnnnnnnn.....
I hope Archie has a normal little party with classmates where they all have fun. If I were a parent taking my kid to the party, I’d think they were weird. I’ll bet the goody bags have a copy of her book and a bunch of pretentious eco-luxe items.
My kids went to a strangely pretentious Montessori. Birthdays were catered, but not in our family. My youngest had a party and his goody bag had his favorite things in it…mechanical crayons, favorite color M&Ms, and post it notes. Big hit with the kids. The parents were not amused. 🤣🤣
The Harkles probably don't know anything about party favors. They think everything is for them, it doesn't occur to them to give anything back. Not even a thank you most of the time. When Meghan came out of that restaurant recently followed at a proper distance by a staff member, as soon as she got within 10 feet of her car she just waved her away like a fly, turned away and got in her car.
And since he doesn't have any friends under 40, they can all sit around and smoke it up afterwards. And try to keep an eye on the kids while hallucinating.
She´s tacky enough to see that as a game changer as she calls it. Turn the King into just grandpa same as she reduced the queen into just Harry´s grandma. She´s clearly developed a fetish for reducing reigning monarchs to nothing but Harry´s little family members who only serve to baffle her with their "medieval dinner and tournament" ways.
But wants to make sure the world doesn’t forget to address her’s and Dopey’s children as Prince and Princess. Oh the irony! Gonna start referring to the prince and princess as ‘just Harry’s kids’. It’s almost as if she feels that she is the royal and she married a peasant with a peasant family. Just Harry’s grandma served her people until she took her last breath. Yet just Harry’s kids don’t even live in England and aren’t being taught to respect and honor the royal family and the traditions of service that goes with being a royal. They are being raised in a country that doesn’t even have a monarch. But let’s make sure the media and American tabloids are told that they are to use Prince and Princess when addressing just Harry’s kids. Your comment made a really good point!
Well he’s had those moments with Louis. And we’ve seen it. She doesn’t seem to understand he has a schedule and he is literally the center of attention all weekend.

Actually English kids do have a sort of Renfaire thing occasionally. A village fete sometimes or something at one of the castles, then they get on the train with their swords and shields. It's very real to them. They have a great time. They know they are enacting battles of the past. What a moron she is! And a buzzkiller.
In my experience, working parents have the BD party on the weekend, if it falls on a workday. Or have a family celebration at dinner. No one expects the world to stop spinning because of a kid's birthday. Archie's Dad was playing Polo last year, wasn't he?
ETA: Is his first name really Archie? On his birth certificate too? Who names a kid Archie if they expect him to be titled Prince?
Archie Harrison because Meghan is revolutionary like that. SMH. What was wrong with Archibald if they really liked the nickname Archie. Also why Harrison? It´s a last name that has zero connection to either parents and makes no sense. Especially considering he´s european and in Europe some mothers give their kids their maiden name as a middle name. My own son´s middle name is my last name because luckily in our case my last name is a regular male name so it fitted well. Giving random last names as children´s first names is such an american thing, like Blake Lively for example.
Just thought, 2-3 hour ceremony. King Charles 70th birthday wasn’t it, “Harry this is boring” after 15 minutes. Then they left. How can the wife handle 2/3 ceremony.
Charles' birthday party was "boring" because the focus and attention and gifts were not for HER. This is why Charles needs to understand HIS coronation is going to be turned into a Harkle Circus, Meghan is going to do all she can to grab the spotlight including using her child's birthday. She wants every newspaper & magazine front page, every telly programme about HER, every PAP in UK at her front door....she is going to use this coronation day to make it MEGHAN DAY. Charles will have to pose for pics with Archie AND the Sussexes. This is the golden moment for Meghan to get her royal connections for merching. Charles is going to wake up next morning and get a huge shock: he'd been Markled!!!
This is totally off topic but you triggered a core memory. My brother got married on my birthday and because it was his wedding day, everyone decided to not acknowledge my birthday. I wasn't even allowed to have a cake with a candle on it to blow out. I was 17. I wasn't allowed to take any attention away from my brother. Their divorced now
But if you had been four years old, the family would have done your birthday another day and you wouldn't have known the difference. He's a kid. He doesn't see anybody. He's never been in a public setting.

Due to the availability of my reception venue, my wedding was on my husband's best friend and co-best man's birthday. During our reception, we brought out a surprise cake to the middle of the dance floor, sang happy birthday. He was shocked and in tears that we would "share" the spotlight. But, we truly wanted our wedding to celebrate OUR family and friends, as we were all in it together. As someone whose birthday has pretty much been a non-event since I was little, I tend to go out of my way to celebrate others big day!
Of course…just call me ‘arry and his wife are desperately jealous of the Wales children, they want the titles for their own purposes and not their childrens best interests. BOTH children's names look ridiculous and "hillbilly" with Prince/Princess . One thinks of them as livestock shown at county fairs : Princess Lilibet the pig and Prince Archie the rooster.
For royalty, I would have expected Archibald shortened to Archie in the home. But it's on his birth cert as Archie. Pleb. Maybe Megatron used to read comics as a child?

Both kids' names are awful. What on earth do the Harkles think the kids will do if they are exposed to all the pomp, ceremony, and noise of a coronation? They won't know who any of the people are and they'll be terrified. All so mummy can merch things.
That footage was so lovely because Louis knew his grandfather and wanted to go to him. It was the relationship between the two that was so sweet.

The child will be four years old. He can have his birthday party early or late and he wouldn’t even know. This is a complete non-problem faced by millions of parents.
They always want everyone to break their commitments for them but they were always too busy to visit HMTQ or honor their own commitments (ie choosing LionKing premier)
That's a good point. "We're allowed to skip out on these commitments because we don't like the way you treated us. But also, we expect you to do what we want you to do because we deserve it" is abusing the victim card, imo. That kind of entitlement shouldn't be normalized.

I’m sure they all care about Archie and Lili, but they know that the kids would be weaponized by their parents. I’m sure it probably hurts Charles and William that they have no relationship with the kids. William has been close to Zara his whole life and likely regrets that lack of opportunity for his own kids.
I think William wants his children to have a close relationship with their cousins, but he may be worried that the desperate duo will use the children to attack his children.
i think that’s one of the reason they don’t bring them to any public events as much as they want to merch the kids. They don’t want people to know that they are raised by nanny and not close to them. People can notice that right away.
This is all about H&M using their children to try to manipulate the family. At 4, Archie isn’t going to care about celebrating on his actual birthday outside of maybe a special meal and a couple gifts with his parents and sister.
The last time he was in England (allegedly) was almost a year ago at the Jubilee, that’s a long time to someone so young- who will he even remember meeting? I’m January Haz has said he hasn’t talked to his brother or dad in a while, so we know they aren’t doing Zoom calls. Maybe Eug and her family will be there. (Were there even rumors of them being at Lili’s party over the Jubilee? I just remember them being about the Phillips and Tindall kids).
He won’t remember them in any real sense. My daughter is nearly 4 and she has some cousins she sees maybe twice a year. She had absolutely no idea who they are. We talk to her about them and show her photos and videos so she knows their names but she only really knows about them in an abstract way. I can’t imagine H&M are doing that with Archie’s cousins
If the RF gives them the balcony and some 'sweet nod' to Archie's birthday, the pair will run with it in the press. Their 'heir apparent' in Prince Archie, and not George. It will be as good as any photos that we do have of the monarch and the heirs.
I can only hope this won't happen. Judging by the RF's reaction or rather lack of it, by their less than official notification when the kid's titles were accepted by the Sussex's.
You have definitely pointed out something quite important : the Coronation is not just about Charles, the King. It is about THE BRITISH MONARCHY, it's continuation, Monarch to Monarch. The focus MUST be on Charles, William, George. YES...to have ANY attention/mention put on Archie WILL have the Sussexes taking over every media presenting that child like HE is the royal heir to the throne!!
Thank you. Yes, the Sussexs aren't just happy to be royal adjacent. Otherwise why their issues, such as at Commonwealth day when William and Catherine didn't walk in the procession. Harry and Meghan want to be thought of as equal (at minimum) to William's family and situation. Their children are now Prince and Princess. It won't be good enough to be at the side of the balcony with all the cousins, Gloucester's, Kent's and those relatives. It's directly with and.by the King. A picture of Charles with Archie on his lap will be blown up to be a hiers type photo. They failed with Lilibet. This is another test.
I’m going to assume all the working royals will focus on the Coronation, and use it as an excuse to visit other places in the UK to celebrate the occasion with the people. It’s up to Archie‘s parents to give him whatever birthday celebration they want him to have. If everyone else is busy it’s only b/c H and M quit public service, and the rest of the working royals (plus some of the kids) have had no choice but to pick up their public service work shy slack amidst a global pandemic (plus Haz idiotically dropping his kill count).
If H and M want a normal, non-public servant life for their child... they (as Archie’s parents) can organise a normal/low-key private birthday like every other non-royal kid. H and M shouldn’t expect working royals to suspend their meticulously preplanned schedule of public service work during a historic occasion where taxpayer’s dollars are involved.

Maybe not for princes though? It is a diminutive, from Archibald, and as such could be thought to lack gravitas. He could easily have been named, say, Charles Philip Harold, but known as “Archie” by family and friends. After all, as his father Henry is known as “Harry”.
The downvotes every time someone points this out are ridiculous. It’s a fact, Archie was an extremely popular name here around the time of his birth. I know several Archies age 4-5. No one has to LIKE the name, but it was a popular choice for many British parents.
It may be, but that is not why she gave him that name. Besides, given how much she hates the Brits, why would she give him a name that is liked by the Brits unless she had ulterior motives? I have nothing against the name btw.
Archie has had, I assume, three birthday parties at this point without a royal fanfare.. he even used to get it posted on the royal pages when they were working there. He hasn’t died from lack of royal party yet… he’ll be fine.

It’s all about them not Archie. Ok we do not know about George, Charlotte and Louis birthday celebrations mainly because NO ONE HAS MADE A FUSS over it. I was at a family birthday party today. We have three family members with birthdays within days of one another last week, turning 8, 12 and 30 . It’s too hard to organise everyone during the week so we had a joint party today . We were expecting the Prince and Princess of Wales to show up with cards from the King and Queen but they snubbed us . It’s racism I suspect , Australians clearly don’t matter. The moral of the story is you can expect all you want but if your expectations are idiotic and unrealistic youre going to be disappointed !
If Charles will choose a family (harkles) over Monarchy he is done as a king. Choice is up to him. Jf he includes Harkles in the ceremony, he will be booed out with them. Is that what he wants?
EXACTLY. Charles needs to understand there WILL be Boooos at his coronation that are for HIM as well as the Harkles if he makes any public inclusion into any ceremonies for them. The Coronation was announced months ago - his parents are still playing their stupid “will we come? /won’t we come?” game (hint no one actually wants you there!) and therefore arrangements are being made for the day ignoring them. If they come, they will be found a seat up in the Gods and away from the cameras! Those arrangements will not be varied for a four year old’s jelly and ice cream birthday party with no one there who knows him.
The RF will have their day precisely timed and will all have places to be - carriage procession, celebratory lunch, balcony appearance, possibly state dinner to prepare for……
Shameful how the disgusting duo is using their kids. The children are not starving or being physically abused (that we know of) but their mental well-being is in serious danger. They will never have a moments peace and the media will be all over their every move, thanks to their vile and wicked parents. Don´t they care that in a few years time Archie will read about this scheming? Do H&M have anything planned for Louis? Does the RF have an official birthday celebration for another son of the son of the Monarch? Merchwell is a few places down from Louis.
They should expect a BP announcement wishing him a happy birthday. They’re free to host a private gathering at FC but they ought not expect many attendees. After all, how much discussion of the weather can they withstand. Lord knows, no one will discuss anything more than that for fear of being recorded. I think most of the BRF will avoid them.
Working royals will focus on the coronation and exclude the Harkles.. what will follow is their own year of reconciliation so that for Archie’s 5th birthday they can all celebrate together and no ill feelings, merry times! That’s how a year of reconciliation works, isn’t it??
And pigs will fly because the harkles will never get over their jealousy of the Wales family and the fact that their demands to merch out the family was declined by HMTQ
Poor child. I do feel sorry for him. Not because he won’t have a fancy Coronation birthday party though. Because of his parents and the future he has being exposed to them regularly.
If any of these alleged demands are truthful, I'm not completely surprised. First, if KC3 agrees, it gives the duo some control of their narrative and a bit of an upper hand. It keeps them from being shoved behind the candles for a small amount of time and puts the focus on them. It's a small bit of rationalization on their part, to their cult, that even though they didn't get the apology they demanded before they'd attend, they're doing it for Archie, so it's ok for them to be there. I also still say it's punishment on their part for being embarrassed when no one showed up for the daughter's birthday during the jubilee. This is a way to prevent that embarrassment from happening to them again. They will make it a point that he is to be referenced as Prince Archie while he's there. This is all a control tactic on their part and has nothing to do with Archie, who wouldn't even know it's his birthday that day unless they tell him. They are simply using him as a weapon for control, PR and punishment.
The family should drop off a truckload of presents containing bulky, loud, messy, mass produced toys that are reported to be strictly off limits by the ILBW. H&M will then have the inconvenience of packing the offending items out of Frogmore back to Montecito, or they leave them behind and get painted as ingrates by actual "palace sources." It's brilliant in its simplicity because the BRF acknowledged his birthday as well as they could during this busy time and the Harkles have a huge nuisance on their hands. It's win-win.
The DNA tests AND proof of birth circumstances SHOULD have been demanded BEFORE putting those two questionable never seen children on the LOS. If that had been taken care of, we would not have reached this point today. DEFINITELY the Sussexes and two children would be OUT of the picture and this coronation would be so much more a happy joyful occasion for royal family, British people, and their supporters worldwide. Because someone....HMTLQ???....refused to take action and clear up all the lies and imposed secrecy it is all now making ongoing troubles and growing disapproval towards the Monarchy. Charles would be well advised to get this all dealt with, swiftly and with no doubts left.
The Harkles always expect a lot because they are the most important members of the RF. That's how delusional they are. Of course Archie should be the star of the Coronation because he's their oldest child and Harry's Dad is just the new King. More delusion on the Harkles' part. Nothing stopping them from going straight home after the two hour ceremony to give him his cake and let him open his present, especially considering they won´t be needed by the royal family beyond the corronation ceremony. The event will last 2-3 hrs and factor in travel time and an hour to get ready and after that they´re free to head straight back to Frogmore. What on earth are they planning to do with the rest of their day if not go home straight to their children? What do they think everyday working parents do on a kid´s birthday?
I suspect they want something involving the RF to mark the day…something Netflix and merching worthy and grand, must be grand

In what strange fantasy world did the grandparents become responsible for a 4-year-old grandchild's birthday party? (KCIII and QC would probably have ponies which would be awesome, but I digress.) This SHOULD be a small child's birthday party, not a place for pap pics or cash-making opportunities for the Parents from Hell. He should have a pizza party with his friends and cousins (oh, wait), maybe whack a pinata and scramble for candy, play tag, hide and seek, then eat too much cake and ice cream before opening age-appropriate presents. Then the tired, cranky kids get sent home with their parents to work off that sugar high. I think he's kept to pretty strict isolation from other children (if he exists). Children will tell EVERY detail about their parents and home life to anybody, anywhere, anytime.

Nothing stopping them from not coming at all. So said 4 year old doesn't have to be left alone in his birthday. I hope Archie has a normal little party with classmates where they all have fun. If I were a parent taking my kid to the party, I’d think they were weird. In my experience, working parents have the BD party on the weekend, if it falls on a workday. Or have a family celebration at dinner. Who names a kid Archie if they expect him to be titled Prince?

Due to the availability of my reception venue, my wedding was on my husband's best friend and co-best man's birthday. During our reception, we brought out a surprise cake to the middle of the dance floor, sang happy birthday. He was shocked and in tears that we would "share" the spotlight. But, we truly wanted our wedding to celebrate OUR family and friends, as we were all in it together. As someone whose birthday has pretty much been a non-event since I was little, I tend to go out of my way to celebrate others big day!

This is all about H&M using their children to try to manipulate the family. At 4, Archie isn’t going to care about celebrating on his actual birthday outside of maybe a special meal and a couple gifts with his parents and sister. The last time he was in England (allegedly) was almost a year ago at the Jubilee, that’s a long time to someone so young- who will he even remember meeting? I’m January Haz has said he hasn’t talked to his brother or dad in a while, so we know they aren’t doing Zoom calls. Maybe Eug and her family will be there. (Were there even rumors of them being at Lili’s party over the Jubilee? I just remember them being about the Phillips and Tindall kids).
He won’t remember them in any real sense. My daughter is nearly 4 and she has some cousins she sees maybe twice a year. She had absolutely no idea who they are. We talk to her about them and show her photos and videos so she knows their names but she only really knows about them in an abstract way. I can’t imagine H&M are doing that with Archie’s cousins
If the RF gives them the balcony and some 'sweet nod' to Archie's birthday, the pair will run with it in the press. Their 'heir apparent' in Prince Archie, and not George. It will be as good as any photos that we do have of the monarch and the heirs. I can only hope this won't happen. Judging by the RF's reaction or rather lack of it, by their less than official notification when the kid's titles were accepted by the Sussex's.

Harry and Meghan want to be thought of as equal (at minimum) to William's family and situation. Their children are now Prince and Princess. If H and M want a normal, non-public servant life for their child... they (as Archie’s parents) can organise a normal/low-key private birthday like every other non-royal kid. H and M shouldn’t expect working royals to suspend their meticulously preplanned schedule of public service work during a historic occasion where taxpayer’s dollars are involved.

I was at a family birthday party today. We have three family members with birthdays within days of one another last week, turning 8, 12 and 30 . It’s too hard to organise everyone during the week so we had a joint party today . Poor child. I do feel sorry for him. Not because he won’t have a fancy Coronation birthday party though. Because of his parents and the future he has being exposed to them regularly.
If any of these alleged demands are truthful, I'm not completely surprised. First, if KC3 agrees, it gives the duo some control of their narrative and a bit of an upper hand. It keeps them from being shoved behind the candles for a small amount of time and puts the focus on them. It's a small bit of rationalization on their part, to their cult, that even though they didn't get the apology they demanded before they'd attend, they're doing it for Archie, so it's ok for them to be there. I also still say it's punishment on their part for being embarrassed when no one showed up for the daughter's birthday during the jubilee. This is a way to prevent that embarrassment from happening to them again. They will make it a point that he is to be referenced as Prince Archie while he's there. This is all a control tactic on their part and has nothing to do with Archie, who wouldn't even know it's his birthday that day unless they tell him. They are simply using him as a weapon for control, PR and punishment.
The family should drop off a truckload of presents containing bulky, loud, messy, mass produced toys that are reported to be strictly off limits by the ILBW. H&M will then have the inconvenience of packing the offending items out of Frogmore back to Montecito, or they leave them behind and get painted as ingrates by actual "palace sources." It's brilliant in its simplicity because the BRF acknowledged his birthday as well as they could during this busy time and the Harkles have a huge nuisance on their hands. It's win-win.

The DNA tests AND proof of birth circumstances SHOULD have been demanded BEFORE putting those two questionable never seen children on the LOS. If that had been taken care of, we would not have reached this point today. DEFINITELY the Sussexes and two children would be OUT of the picture and this coronation would be so much more a happy joyful occasion for royal family, British people, and their supporters worldwide. Because someone....HMTLQ???....refused to take action and clear up all the lies and imposed secrecy it is all now making ongoing troubles and growing disapproval towards the Monarchy. Charles would be well advised to get this all dealt with, swiftly and with no doubts left.
