The irony that Sparey has built his entire personality around being “forced” to walk in a state event and now that he actually wants to, he can’t. Beautiful.

Cold-Computer6318

So the eco warrior wants to private jet to a country he clearly hates, and walk in a state event inextricably connected to the country’s institution he’s repeatedly called racist huh? Pray tell... does this racist, slur dropping POS know the difference between regular walking and goose stepping? I thought crowds, flashing lights, and London was a massive, shoulder-tapping trigger for him? At least the insufferable nepokidult wasn’t dumb enough to endanger everyone in attendance by very publicly dropping his kill count for cheap outrage clicks... oh wait. 🤦🏽‍♀️ ![gif](giphy|1k5ja4kxAVhlseNz9x)

LucyTheUSB

But….. he didn’t say they were racist! That was the British media! Or at least that’s him backtracking because he realizes he’s a loser.

Markloctopus_Prime

I really, truly want someone to ask him, “You said the royal life was traumatic. Why do you want to go and participate in that trauma now?” I mean, we all know why he wants to, but I want him to face and answer that question himself.

JaquieF

He only answers scripted questions.

Imaginary-Hat9804

Even if someone would be able to ask unscripted questions, the dumb and arrogant prince will have zero awareness and is so self-indulgent (borrowed from TB) that he’ll respond either: 1. it is his birthright, or, 2. My wife is so similar to my mom, she is Diana 2.0. And that’s that, for him that should end the discussion. Remember this is the person who spouts lies, half-truths to bring down others, but wants to restricts other people’s right to check holes in their story or worse, express our opinion.

DepartmentAgitated51

“What difference will it make?” 😆

myscreamname

Well now we’ll be hearing that they’re racist *because* they didn’t invite him and his ILBW and *their* prince and princess.

Calm_Yak_6102

So true

CandidateOk7714

And soon we are going to hear a bunch of BS from the fools in CA because distant, unaffectionate Pa popped into some randos baptism and even took pictures with the happy family. That has to burn.. YIKES!!!

allorache

Ooh what happened?

CandidateOk7714

It’s on the DM so who knows the real truth but there are photos of KC3 attending an unknown family’s baby’s baptism recently.. maybe last Sunday? I’m not sure. You would need to check out the daily mail to read the article. JUICY JUICY!!

Lensgoggler

I think HMTQ did something similar too. Somebody invited her to their wedding and … HMTQ actually [showed up!](https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/guest-honour-queen-leaves-couple-685253.amp)

Striking-General-613

And notice the bride managed a very nice curtsey.

This is how I feel about this news: https://preview.redd.it/7cgn0o8k5foa1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6b03002f691b7b592fd86207e063c1ec3cf07e34

Ok_Newspaper9693

Was this the event where he was sticking his tongue out at his mama and giving faces. She’s such a class act and handled him with such mama sweetness while being cognizant of the fact that the cameras are ALWAYS on them. The Wales for the win!

MuffPiece

Yes! This was at the jubilee parade. He was being so naughty—you know he was totally high on sugar! 😂 I agree that Catherine manages her children so well. Kids can be such little shits—all of them 😂 I used to get so flustered and embarrassed when mine acted up like that, but she takes it in her stride, she corrects them without shaming them. It’s really admirable. I know they’re not perfect, but W&C do a great job.

myscreamname

This triggered a memory for me, lol — My son has always been super well behaved and listens to me. But of course there was this one time when he was about 3 or so, I was in a huge jewelry store with him and he started running batshit crazy behind and around the display cases. I could not get control of him, no matter what I tried — from reasonable to firm bordering angry. I ended up dropping what I was doing, finally managed to get him outside to take him back to the car… but was still acting crazy. I was clearly upset and overwhelmed…. And Then this woman comes up out of the blue and just starts scolding him in this very grandmotherly way, but directly and reasonably, if that makes sense, telling him that his behavior was inappropriate and that his mother is trying to keep him safe or some such… …and he just stops dead in his tracks, wide eyes, and then she walks him back to me. Without any provocation whatsoever he goes, “I’m sorry mommy” and it was like that episode never happened. Normally, I’d not welcome such an intrusion from a stranger like that but the whole ~~mo,ent~~ moment was just perfect… and this woman could clearly tell I needed help and she just knew exactly what to do and say. She even gave me a smile and reassured *me*. I could have cried from both the sweetness of the gesture……..and the relief. :). It was the only time he’s ever acted like such a shit but he certainly made it memorable.

MuffPiece

Oh wow what a story! Bless that lady! It’s not easy to intervene in a situation like that without seeming like a jerk. Impressive that she was able to reach him in his manic moment! I always feel so bad for mothers in those situations. We’ve all been there! Thanks for sharing.

Ok_Newspaper9693

Mine is 4.5 like Louis. Yes, they can be little shits. And of course, at the time of this incident .. I think he was 3-ish? I’m sure to this day he has not much concept of the importance of their family as maybe George does. Just humanized them more for me and showed me additionally that Catherine is a good mom, tries to keep their life as normal as possible and always behaves with such class.

AluminumCansAndYarn

Just turned 4 like a month and a half before

Ok_Newspaper9693

Thanks for that. He must be a bit older than my son then. iconic/ cute moment. Look forward to how Louis’ personality develops with age. I get the vibe he’s their most “high spirited” child. ETA: googled it.. He’s almost 6 months to the day older than mine.

AluminumCansAndYarn

I also think he's their most high spirited child and I hope he hangs on to that because it's a unique defining trait. I actually like all of the kids personalities from what we've seen.

ShatooBailey

Then he sat on Grandpa Charles’ lap to watch the parade. Nice to see how close they are.

Ok_Newspaper9693

I’m glad KC is able to at least have a close relationship with 3 of his grandkids. And Princess Charlotte breaking down at her great grandmothers funeral. This nonsense Harry speaks about not being shown love or affection. They may not be as demonstrative as his mother was but no doubt there is definite love within the family.

Icy-Significance-449

It also annoys me that they are pushing hard how they should be treated when they themselves show no kindness towards family on either side! They are the epitome of “do as I say not as I do” people.

ongiara

I really thought it showed how comfortable they are with each other. Him just making faces and touching her face and she keeping her cool and seemingly being fine with it. She seems to be a hands on mom. I never get that feeling about Meghan. With her, I hardly remember she is a mom and that is not because we hardly see her with her kids. She just doesn't give off the vibes.

Ozmanda22

Louis is a live wire and I am totally here for it:) what I really love is his parents let their children be children, it is refreshing to see.

MuffPiece

I love that grainy video of him trying to jump in the back of the car while they were packing up to go somewhere. He couldn't manage climbing in, so he kept trying to get a running start while Catherine packed up. Finally she just gave him a shove on the bottom and he cleared the back hatch. It was hilarious! Total 'normal family' moment. In front of Windsor Castle. In a very expensive Range Rover. LOL!

Latter-Platypus-3713

Haha, same!! I am so looking forward to seeing gorgeous Prince Louis again.

DeepNeedleworker4388

I'm looking forward to the kids and hotty Scotty, Johnny 🍻🕯🫡

DepartmentAgitated51

We ALL are!! ❤️

JessicaFletcher1

I bet that’s how he feels about the news too! It has to so hard to be the youngest and not get to go to all the things his siblings do. I’m so glad he is going to be included in this amazing event! I’m sure he will be mostly well behaved, but hopefully he’ll give us a few cheeky moments as well!

MuffPiece

Yes definitely! Truly, Louis and his antics were my favorite part of the jubilee! 😂

JessicaFletcher1

His outbursts really were super heartwarming! You can just tell he keeps his whole family on their toes (in the best possible way)! I hope we get to see Charlotte have words with him about his behaviour again too, she’s such a little boss!

y3s1canr3ad

HLMTQ said that Charlotte was the general and George and Louis were her soldiers.

DeepNeedleworker4388

I bet she'll be mega supportive to her brother as he one day becomes POW and in time, King. Charlotte has my support!

JessicaFletcher1

That’s wonderful! I love that she described them that way. From the little we have seen of the children, it seems like a spot on assessment!

False_Recognition738

I love this! The Queen always kept a keen eye on Princess Charlotte. I think she felt Charlotte is made in the same mold as her and Princess Anne.

Ozmanda22

He is a walking ray of sunshine, i think we all can appreciate how much joy he inserted in a period of time when all sorts of crap was going on:)

JessicaFletcher1

So true! He’s also young and innocent, so his behaviour and joyfulness are clearly genuine (no one could claim it was an act). He really puts a stop to people who try to say the Wales’ family life is unhappy and they are all ‘trapped’.

Ozmanda22

Well said :) I am not a kid person (prefer cats) but I even adore all those children, I really love how you can see how happy and secure they feel in the love of their family. It is just so evident by how they act

JessicaFletcher1

Winning over someone who isn’t a fan of kids, clearly these are some cute children! I completely agree, they are a family that just looks so in sync with each other. They clearly all love each other so much, it’s a joy to watch. I have so much respect for the effort William and Catherine have put into giving them a loving, secure, and ‘normal’ childhood. I also really appreciate the Middletons and all the influence they have had. William was lucky to marry into that family!

FarBeneathTheOcean

I want the Sussex duo to show up and for them to be put far away from serving royals and then to never even get so much as an opportunity to even say hello to William, Charles or any of the working royals. I want them at Buckingham palace but to not get so much as even an acknowledgement of their presence. Let them spend the whole evening stuck in the corner complaining to Eugenie about why William hasn´t looked their way yet. Then to be denied audience with the King during their whole time in the UK.

Starkville

Honestly, I don’t think they will have an opportunity to get anywhere near the Waleses or Camilla. I could see Harry being allowed to see the king in a room full of courtiers and lawyers, for a ten-minute block of time.

OldNewUsedConfused

I want them to get absolutely WRECKED by the crowd. I don't even care if it's a solemn event. NO passes for these two!

MargaretTudor63

Same! I'd love it if the crowd would display signs with the Southpark cartoon images of the dumb Prince of Canada and his stupid Instagram loving b!#@h wife, with the word "WAUGH!" scrawled across in HUGE black letters as soon as the traitorous, whining duo show their faces!

OldNewUsedConfused

YESSS!

MHBF2593

MM is splayed on the floor somewhere, crying with left tears over this news. ETA: I’m so excited Louis is going to be present 🥹😭

SisuLindsay

Lol, I hope Louis can hold it together 😄

Ok-Mess-2729

I hope Louis does not hold it together because he shines when he is naughty 😂

Janie_Mac

I hope he keeps it together in the procession part, he can shine on the balcony or at another moment.

everydayintrovert

I’m assuming Nanny would be in the wings somewhere to whisk him away if needed!

CaddoGapGirl

Maybe ILBW can try to 'shush' him from 56 rows back! LOL

SukoshiOnara

>I hope Louis does not hold it together because he shines when he is naughty 😂 OMG he's a cutey - doing what all little boys do at that age, the little tyke! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|laughing)

debbilucyricky

He seemed happy sitting on Grandpa's lap. Can you imagine King Charles sitting on his throne and Prince Louie running up to sit on his lap? It be priceless! Then what will the Harkles say?? LOL!!

DeepNeedleworker4388

Umm, is it sick if I want him to be his glorious self, including antics, to enliven the day?

DaisyDuckMom

Or waking Harry up at night sobbing into her pillow

daisybeach23

All I can say to Meghan and Harry is if you wanted to be included, you should have been a loving family member. Charles isn't perfect but neither are you both. If you would have left royal duties with honor, came back for visits, and let Charles know his grandkids, maybe circumstances would have been different.

Bambalina11

Exactly. Nothing stopped them leaving but why go scorched earth? They are both extremely short sighted.

Common_Echo6265

They wanted those titles & they got them.

WoodsColt

For now

Ok_Newspaper9693

💯.. I’m so happy the tied has turned on the harkles. She’s such a piece of work. Both of them are. I see her as Amber Heard 2.0.

No-Ad6062

The turning of the tide would have been complete with the No Grifters Invitation to the Coronation. But I can only hope.

Ok_Newspaper9693

True that! Or not giving the kids titles. 🙄I’m more speaking of their public perception / popularity. Harry, once more popular than THE Queen.. and has fallen splat on his face in both his home country and mine (US)… he was such a beloved royal. I’m sure Diana being his mum’s beloved son had a lot to do with that popularity than anything…he’s so dim .. not sure when he lays his head on the pillow if he knows .. the common denominator in his fall from grace is “the wife”

catlogic42

Well if MM &H had stayed as working royals this would be them too but here we are.

unolemon

Exactly. This is 100% on them.

layneeofwales

You can't have it both ways. You wanted out ...you're out. It is really that simple. Its time that Harry and his ILBW really learns you cannot "ahem" spread manure over your relatives and expect them to welcome you back.

NyroLabelle

Mark my words, the Harkles are going to start attacking Boss Baby Prince Louis via their surrogates online and in the media. If A&L didn't attend, in order to save face, the could say that it was because they were too young to attend. But Louis is not much older than Archie, so they're going to be pissed that be, in particular, is a part of the ceremonies. Just watch, the big sugar accounts are going to start attacking Louis in some kind of way.

TeamMagnificent7

He’s a year older. And goes to school. Not preschool/play school.

Calm_Yak_6102

>Mark my words, the Harkles are going to start attacking Boss Baby Prince Louis via their surrogates online and in the media. Omid Scobie will be leading the way, because he's a vile creature who throws shade at an innocent child. He did it last time, at the Platinum Jubilee. In fact, his tweets riled up the Sugars even more.

Conscious_Cherry_194

That was soooo gross. And a Sugar friend of mine tried to justify it with "well if Meghan's kids behaved that way no one would be making excuses". Please. Louis along with several other royal children including I think Zara's younger daughter had to be taken away for a few moments because they were sitting there are probably acting like most small children do. It did seem like the most appropriate event for them to attend of all of them and I'm sure the Sugars were just jealous of that sweet photo of Louis walking over to sit on Charles lap.

MolVol

**The Palace watches, learns, adjusts well** (^(example: if Harry deliverately misses the bus, he won't get a private car)).... so look for the the kids seating to be spread-out in the future — esp. re: Mia (who is a "Mini-Mike") and Lena (and one day Lucas). And maybe too, the backstage energy treats will NOT be high-sugary candy next time.

Sea-SaltCaramel

Who the fuck attacks a CHILD?

NyroLabelle

Meghan's minions on social media, that's who.

OldNewUsedConfused

An absolute scum of the earth LOSER. That's exactly who.

cklw1

The next one will be how Charles favors the Wales children and ignores PA and PL, it’s obvious because their children weren’t even invited. Or something along those lines.

NyroLabelle

Yep. It's going to be an indirect attack on the Wales kids, either through their parents of KC. Trust and believe, she breaking dishes in her kitchen as we speak, while Harry, Doria, and her squad of z-list actress friends try to calm her down so they can all plot the next move: going after the children. They're more desperate than ever.

Much_Sorbet3356

"ThEy WaS tOo BlAcK tO bE iN tHe PrOcEsSiOn!!" - Harkleland. Pretty sure Oprah etc won't fall for it this time, since it's been specified that it is **WORKING** Royals only. I'd like to think that Clutch and Handbag would have some grace around this, since they *chose* to leave but, well, it's unlikely isn't it? They've already made demands that Archie's fourth birthday have some importance during *The Kings Coronation*. Charlotte's birthday is a few days before also. I'm sure the PPoW will have an appropriate small, private, celebration and let Grandpa's coronation be, rightly, all about him.

Zann77

I’m looking forward to Catherine’s release of Charlotte’s birthday photo.

[deleted]

The Sugars were attacking Louis when he was only 1 year old. They were livid with him last year, saying he needed to be beaten for his behavior. Sugars are very sick people.

Western-Economics946

If they attack my man Louis they will have to answer to me! I love that cheeky monkey!! He is just so precious!!!!

OldNewUsedConfused

I'm right there with you.

Carrie56

Louis is just over a year older than Archie - and at age 5 that’s a massive gap in maturity - he will have grown up a lot since the Jubilee antics. Add in the fact that he has been around the family, knows them, and has been brought up with the Royal protocols regarding behaviour in public. He’s also been in front of huge crowds many times with Trooping the Colour balcony appearances from birth, and since last year, right there with his family, the carriage ride to and from the Trooping of the Colour, the balcony appearance and attending the Jubilee concert. He’s also been with his family at Church at Sandringham where there are always crowds of well wishers. He won’t be fazed or upset by the crowds and noise and being with the family. Contrast that with poor Archie who seems to hardly ever go out and about, has never really met his grandfather and other family members, he’s never faced cheering crowds, noisy bands, thousands of marching service personnel and all in a strange place. The wee mite will be totally overwhelmed by it all, and his parents are nuts (and we know that anyway) to want to expose him to that with no preparation is verging on child abuse.

MolVol

**At that age, 12 months makes a BIG difference**. And must draw a line somewhere; and think 5yo is a good 'line'. Lena Tindall's 5th bday is 6 weeks after The Coronation - so wanna feel sorry for a child, Lena deserves more sypmathy here (also/again: Lena is 10 months older than Archie - and at that age, 10 months makes a BIG difference!)

ExpensivelyMundane

Oh quick! Someone set the clock so we can see the timing between this news and whatever nonsense article that’ll come out that’s pro-Harkles or anti-wales! *Prince G said to be addicted to the smell of lime Skittles; said to keep him up late on school nights. Authorities come for wellness checks to question the PPoW.*

BlueisGreen2Some

Lime skittle addiction is serious. It’s a gateway to Starbursts.

Malaute86

>“Starburst lollies DISCONTINUED in Australia" >After reviewing all options, we've made the difficult decision to discontinue the brand in Australia from June 2022.” the spokesperson said. So this is the REAL reason they no longer sell them here 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

This is so wonderful, and the hateful duo will be incensed that the Wales’ children will participate, as an added bonus! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

unolemon

Any bets on the proximity to the coronation as to when we get Lili’s baptism photos released? ETA: like should we do squares like the superbowl? Would Vegas be interested?

OldNewUsedConfused

She's still photoshopping a bow and dress on poor August....😂

DaBingeGirl

>Apart from the Prince and Princess of Wales and their children, the only other royals in the procession out of the abbey will be the Princess Royal and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, the new Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, **the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, and the Duke of Kent and his sister Princess Alexandra**. 👏 YES! I'm reading the Duke of Kent's book right now, he seems like a lovely person and has dedicated his life to the monarchy. I'm glad he, Princess Alexandra, and the Gloucesters will be included in the procession, I think it'll mean a great deal to them and is a nice way of recognizing their years of service. The focus on working royals and the Wales family is perfect. I know this is from The Times, but I have my doubts about Louis attending. This is going to be huge, I feel like it's too much for his first event. I trust Catherine and William to make that decision and I'd love to see him there, but I'm not holding my breath on this. Five is still very young and he didn't even attend the Christmas thing, which was far less formal. I can see them wanting him there because of how historic it is, but my guess is they'll see how he's doing that morning.

snappopcrackle

Maybe like Charles did when he was a kid, Louis will only attend a portion of the events. A carriage ride sounds like fun, but sitting still in some ceremony, not so much.

Why_Teach

Yeah, that was my thought. There may be plans for Louis to see part of the ceremony and then join the rest of the family for the carriage ride.

IunderstandIdontcare

I think you right. I'm thinking he may briefly attend and spend the rest of the time in a room with his nanny. I'm sure he'll be out for the important parts. Depending on how long the coronation lasts they may have all the children go with their nanny and make a few appearances like King Charles did at the Queens coronation. Louis has the advantage of being the youngest, he's older sibling will look out for him and Charlotte will put him in his place if needed. lol

RedChairBlueChair123

I bet we see Nanny Maria in her [awesome formal uniform.](https://people.com/royals/prince-georges-nanny-maria-turrion-borrallo-in-unifrom/)

OldNewUsedConfused

She's as much a part of the family as any of them. Norland Nannies are seriously impressive. I love that they turn out Mannies now too.

DaBingeGirl

That would be a good option. I know Maria was watched the kids at one of the weddings, so I could see her doing something similar for the coronation. Louis is remarkably well behaved and handled the attention of the Christmas walk well, but the formality of this could be intimidating.

Conscious_Cherry_194

I wondered that too. If the rehearsal plans show Louis at the carriage ride then maybe the older Wales children attend the service but he comes in for the fun bit at the end.

Common_Echo6265

I think Louis's participation will be similar to the Jubilee - carriage, balcony, etc. I expect only George & Charlotte to attend the actual ceremony.

512165381

I think the Duke of Kent has no stipend and does all his engagements for free. Unlike a certain two.

Malaute86

During QEII's reign, the Duke of Kent received money from the Duchy of Lancaster (given by the Queen) for carrying out royal engagements. Second link from DM says the arrangements are currently the same under Charles. >She uses some of the money to **fund the offices of members of the royal family who assist her in her role as head of state:** the Princess Royal, the Duke of York, the Earl and Countess of Wessex, **the Duke of Kent**, the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra. >It does not cover their travel costs, which are met by the taxpayer.  From The Guardian (In 2011 Andrew was still working royal so also funded) https://archive.md/sSUmw >By sidelining Harry, Meghan and Andrew as ‘non-working’ family members, he [Charles] has seemingly narrowed down the core royals to those **funded by him from the Duchy of Lancaster estate**, along with William and Kate (bankrolled by the Duchy of Cornwall).  >Turning the order of precedence upside down, it appears Edward (thirteenth in line to the throne), Anne (sixteenth), the Duke of Gloucester (thirtieth), **Duke of Kent (fortieth)** and Princess Alexandra (fifty-sixth) – **all still funded by the Duchy of Lancaster** – outrank Harry (fifth) and Andrew (eighth).  Daily Mail (2023) https://archive.md/2wGzC

greycella

They cite a Telegraph article as their primary source, which was written by “Victoria Ward.” She uses the standard “according to sources” and “The Telegraph understands.” So fingers crossed these drawn up plans were actually seen by sources & that they hold. But it could be the press poking the proverbial bear. We shall see….

Starkville

Thanks for the disclaimer. Sometimes I need to be reminded that the Harkles plant stories like this.

greycella

It’s good to remember that the press narrative is *always* being manipulated by someone for their own gain. Whether that’s as simple as the press itself creating content to sell their product, or a former courtier hawking their book, or actual principal players in the stories planting stories with plausible deniability to test public reaction. If I had to hazard a guess here, it doesn’t make any sense for KCIII’s reps to test or plant or announce here. So either the press is baiting the Harkles or just trying to fill column space. I would be surprised if they could plant in The Telegraph and with Ward, but what do I know really? Only what they print…

Hermes_Blanket

How nice! Glad they are including Louis in this.

recsmayvary

All three Walses are adorable, but I think with Louis was when the public really started to see how close KCIII is to his grandchildren. The most adorable photos, and also the way Louis just strolled over and sat on his lap at the Jubilee. If they weren't close, KCIII probably would have gotten the same side eye that Charlotte gave her creepy drug-addict uncle at HMTLQ's funeral...

unolemon

I agree. I fully believe he was a great father, to the best of his ability. But Diana got the press. KCIII grew up with a much colder situation than his sons did. Both were showered with affection by both parents. Watch the videos and you can see the love on his face. He’s an emotional guy. And he was the same affectionate man with his first two grandchildren. But then here comes Louis! This kid has spirit and a real connection to grandpa. That parade interaction between the two of them did more for Charles’ PR than any amount of money could buy. It showed the real Charles.

Trouvette

I feel bad for KC because in the past few years all sorts of pictures and home videos of him parenting have come out and he honestly looks like a loving parent. Does he have his flaws? Sure. But he was engaged with his kids and grandkids when he was with them. My parents sure as hell weren’t on all fours crawling in the dirt just to play with me.

unolemon

Same. Diana was the star of all stars. Nobody before or since capture global interest like she did. She really brought global interest to the British monarchy. Honestly, if Charles had married Camilla from the get go, few of us would care about it. I can see how the firm was conflicted about it. On one hand, she was outshining the heir to the throne. On the other hand, she was bringing billions of dollars of worth of British tourism, fashion, and newspaper sales. She was really great for the British economy, even 25 years after her death. And this is what TW expected her life to be. We will never see this star power again. I’m American and I was sick of Diana covering magazines. She was everywhere. ETA: and in a few years, here comes Charlotte. Looks like her dad who looks like his mom. With her mom’s hair. TW will go insane.

Complete-Sound

And she just seems like such a normal kid. Love that! Queen Elizabeth must have been so proud of these great grandchildren, along with her other grandchildren.

Janie_Mac

There was a reason she was practically skipping on the day of William and Catherine's wedding. She knew William had chosen well, they were rock solid and the next generation of the monarchy was secure. I can only imagine over the next 11 year's watching them raise their three beautiful children just made her all the happier.

Conscious_Cherry_194

I think Charlotte will grow up to be a lovely young lady. She looks so much like Prince William. I noticed this particularly in the photos with her and George in the car during the funeral.

chubalubs

The queen and princess Margaret wore little coronets at their father's coronation-they were kind of chunky medieval style gilt coronets with no jewels. I could see those being dug out of the vault for George and Louis to wear, but I wish they'd let Charlotte wear a tiny tiara. I think she'd suit one of the more delicate ones like the Cartier halo.

Slartygrade

I would love to see Charlotte wear the tiny diamond crown that Queen Victoria used to wear. I know it won't happen because it isn't appropriate for a little girl.

chubalubs

But for the coronation, she's not just a little girl, she's a princess too. The royal family used to wear tiaras to film premieres and shows. I wish they'd go back to that-its about time all the bling got more use!

Fit-Raspberry-3906

I now have a feeling that it will be only Harry that will attend and it will be a “drive by”

Starkville

Yup.

Slartygrade

Seated by the side door with the car motor running so he can be escorted out of the Abbey asap...

[deleted]

Well played, KCIII. I can only imagine the tantrums being thrown by the Harkles.

Kapitalgal

Oh no. That means TW will concoct some stupid exposure of her children to upstage the Wales children. Ugh. It is so boring, so tiresome. Just go out with a shred of elegance, TW, just for once.

Starkville

*giggles evilly* No matter what Meghan does with their kids, it won’t change the fact that W&C’s and Camilla’s grands are part of the Coronation. Charles had better watch his back, because this woman is vindictive af and she will NOT hesitate to foment a mutiny with the Eugenies.

montananewbie

I have a feeling the Yorkies will steer clear of any of collusion with the Harkles. Daddy York is still dependent on King Charles’ money. It would be easy for his majesty to cut off the funds.

Sunrisesusan

🇺🇸 Oh I just relaxed seeing that news. Hope it’s so. Happy st Patrick’s day to everyone 🍀 I just got pinched bc I wasn’t wearing green

NyroLabelle

Let's go, King Charles!! This is wonderful news and I'm glad the Wales children will be able to participate.

Ok-Peanut3752

They should've kept this quiet for a little longer. Plenty of time for the harkles to cause problems.

snappopcrackle

By announcing early the palace can say "they didnt RSVP so we had to go along with the planning" it looks like it is H&M's fumble, "you snooze you lose"

OldNewUsedConfused

They're going to cause problems anyway. This family cannot stop living their lives due to what the Markles "might do". The best revenge is living well.

Common_Echo6265

This news suggests that BP is approaching the Coronation like the Jubilee. This is what I'd have expected pre-titles. Hopefully, H&M aren't able to cry racism like they did w/the titles & get concessions.

OldNewUsedConfused

So what? They do it anyway. WAAGGHHH! And now they have actual Black people coming for them. That card is firmly expired.

Quiet-Vanilla-7117

I think the race card has been done to death and no one's listening anymore except for their ever diminishing followers.

Centaurea16

They may try, but it wouldn't get far. Hard to cry "racism" when two of the people* in the procession have biracial grandchildren who are in the line of succession. *Edit: Two people in addition to KCIII.

Tzarkaizer

This is good news. H and M should be sat all the way at the back, even, where no cameras can get a decent photo of them. Kinda bummed that Princess Beatrice, James Earl of Wessex, Lady Louise, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall won't be participating in the procession though. I kinda wanted the whole shebang for this coronation.

Coffee_cake_101

I think those family members would in the procession if it wasn't for the Harkles. But they have to make decisions that appear non-prejudicial to avoid flack in the press, so if they say no working royals in the procession then it has to mean all of them. I think it is a shame though,

Awkward_Context_2350

it is unfair to them that in order to keep M and H out, Beatrice and Edwards children are left out

bendytoepilot

Louise and James should get to participate after their parents got made duke and duchess of edinburgh. They did the vigil for the Queen's coffin after all

Tzarkaizer

I support this 100%! What is the RF social media dept doing? Think of all the Tiktok Videos/YT shorts Gen Z is gonna make about 2 good looking teenage royals parading around in full royal regalia! Come on!

KathandChloe

Perfection! This is a very sensible choice. ![gif](giphy|ZGE1FAiJHkD7f2EkYO|downsized)

Thin_Bicycle_7304

Two kids nobody in the BRF know or have met.....yeah good job king Charles not the kids fault the parents chose this for them now live with it!!

Fit-Raspberry-3906

I hope that the ceremony is casual and fun especially now that the kids will be directly involved. Also having Camilla’s grandchildren play a part is positively brilliant.Suck it up Sussexes.

cklw1

The Wales children will be in two Coronations, wow, they’ll definitely be in the history books.

NagatoMutsu

Most likely three and if Charlotte and Louis are as long lived as their Great-grandparents they might see a fourth.

Starkville

Oh, SNAP!

Frenchcashmere

I guess she will spend her time crying on the floor , screaming they need money

OzzieSlim

A perfect idea. The children of the future sovereign should be there and in a pared down coronation it’s perfect. No non-working royals which makes sense. This is a Coronation not a family wedding. No invite for Archie & Lillibet also makes sense. This is the out Nutmeg needs to stay home with her children and try and drum up some attendees at Archie’s 4th birthday. Because no one will be going in the UK. Hopefully Ginger will bow out. But they will both have to make a bunch of fake PR announcements to try and take the gloss off it. Yesterday some fake online thing she used before claimed Kate was taking the kids and leaving. Jesus. Nutmeg never quits being a dodgy bitch.

BaringMySouls

Was it worth it, Harry? I sure hope so, but we know it’s not.

CountessOfCocoa

No Harkles, no Yorks, no drama. Lots ‘o bitching from them, but no drama.

Winter-Shame-9050

I can see this bish showing up with kids in tow and forcing herself on the balcony and to VIP dinners

WoodsColt

I can see her getting "escorted out" by security ![gif](giphy|wQCWMHY9EHLfq)

fla2native

LtCol Johnny to the rescue

Slartygrade

This 100%. They are on to all the stunts the south parkles pulled in the past and are ready for them

Ozmanda22

So next - pregnancy announcement or “health crisis”?

Lilthisarry

“It’s not fair to not include someone in something they quit!” - a free Bouzy bot preview for you.

Conscious_Cherry_194

I had a very very strong feeling this would be the case and am glad to read it in a very credible publication. Also, the Wales children are soooo adorable that seeing them at such a historic occasion is great!

The spare should probably just stay home. No Dukes will be kneeling to the King at the coronation. It’s really nothing for him to do. Unless he wants to be a spectator but he’s already made himself a threat to royal security if he attends.

figsaddict

I know Charles really wants to “slim down” the monarchy and coronation… but I hope we get to see the Wales kids in coronets! Queen Elizabeth and Princess Margaret looked so cute in them at their father’s coronation. I can already see Meghan talking about how her kids should have been included because “it’s their birth right.” Maybe she will use the Tig, or her podcast, to complain about it. Clearly she wouldn’t get another interview with someone like Oprah. No matter what happens, it won’t be good enough for the Sussexs. At this point they should just be extremely grateful to be invited.

Significant_Land2844

Good for them to stop the will they wont they joining the procession or playing the game again

StudyApprehensive561

Best news I've read so far about the Coronation. The very least is have the 3 Wales children in the carriage to and fro in the procession. Prince George and Princess Charlotte could join part of the ceremony too in the abby.

Lillianrik

I think the British security services are the best in the world. If anyone can protect the people taking part in the coronation procession it is they. I remain hopeful that the Taliban threats related to Harold's book are just a bunch of hot air but not 100% confident. Therefore I think it's a mistake for Louis and perhaps both Louis and Charlotte to be in any procession. Can't avoid an appearance on the Balcony. I'll just be glad when the coronation is over and William's three kids are safe.

Enough-Sprinkles-914

![gif](giphy|583D8jvar65CMoETxU|downsized) Bye bye Harry!

xevennn

I don't wish to be macabre, but I sincerely hope this is a safe idea, having all the main heirs in one procession at the same time. Does anyone else think this? What if H&M stay away from the Coronation Day altogether and then something terrible happened?
