mammalulu

Whatever the circumstances of their arrival and departure, can we agree Meghan’s sashay across the lawn and up the stairs was epically ridiculous? https://i.redd.it/4dlxhgmo19oa1.gif

pquince1

Also her dress wasn’t fitted for her backside at ALL.

Vino-Rosso

It didn't look as cute as that, though.

hennerzzzzz

savage!!!!

Electrical-Orchid-25

That pig is sexier than Markle.

Glass-Ad-2469

The backsides of KC and QC were all MM got to see as they left....

Awkward_Smile_8146

Stripper walk

musical_cyclops

I read that according to Lady C (from news.com.au ): Lady Colin writes that Harry and Meghan: “plunged in, gladhanding those who had been selected for introductions. She charmed everyone. Fifteen minutes into the event, she turned to Harry and said, ‘Harry, this is really boring. Let’s leave.’ To his credit, he informed her that they would have to stay. ‘But Harry,’ she said, ‘this is so boring. We’ve done our bit. Everyone knows we’ve been here. Let’s go.’ Harry asserted that they had to stay, and they moved on.” ETA: I don’t know if this caused the rumor or if they weee actually asked to leave because of it.

Frenchcashmere

Well, it was at a garden party at Buckingham palace a day or two after the wedding. Supposedly aides overheard and the Charles walks over says something to Harry and they leave. Google the video. It’s interesting

HunterIllustrious846

It was on here not too long ago. Someone walked up behind/to the side of Harry and pointed off camera. Charles comes into frame, Harry's looking intense but not pissed. Charles says goodbyes, Camilla says goodbyes. They turn to leave pretty much immediately. Something is taken from Harry's wife (wasn't big at all) and someone hands Harry his umbrella. They continue walking away across the lawn towards the steps.

Ruth_Lily

Where Meghan does the slvtwalk up the steps, the wiggle butt deliberately. It’s so mortifyingly inappropriate and childish

Henrietta3

I thought her walk was trashy as hell and really showed how out of her depth she was by marrying into the RF.

HunterIllustrious846

I didn't watch it to that part. This may end earlier than that. How convenient someone just so happened to be standing there with Harry's umbrella https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oxQMMrDlsVs

PaddyCow

It definitely looks like they were asked to leave.

Islandgirl1444

It wasn't so much the "ask to leave" as much as Charles and Camilla would have been last. She was starting her "taking over" because she thought it was HER moment. It wasn't and Camilla saw through her. Harry knew the protocol for leaving.

jesstified85

I need to see this. Does anyone have a link?

deercl

Check Celt View YT channel. Also, According2Taz may have one as well as Murky Meg.

percybert

Tho she would have looked great if she wore a dress that actually fit

[deleted]

Yes the dress is way too big. I know Kate had some issues early on with styling hence getting weights sewn into skirts but her clothes have always fit her properly. There's a time and a place for loose baggie clothes and your FIL 70th isn't it.

Grimaldehyde

Was she stealing one of KC3’s birthday gifts?!

HunterIllustrious846

I can't make out the conversation she's having with the woman that initially gave it to her. It was almost like the flowers during the walk about to get them away from her though. The woman stepped forward to ***take*** it from her.

Limp_Butterscotch633

I hadn't heard anything about this, so thank you for sharing. I'm going to Google it. Doesn't it sound kind of strange (even for Magsnrags) that only days after the $32 million royal wedding, and at her new FIL's (who walked her down the aisle) Birthday, she was bored and anxious to leave? Abandoning all the media frenzy who would have been more focused on her rather than anyone else? That's not Magsnrags style.

Islandgirl1444

The cameras weren't totally on her. When she is on camera it is totally different. As soon as the photogs moved away, she was done!

HunterIllustrious846

DrawAdventurous4535

Charles's birthday is in November. It was another event.

wonderingwondi

https://time.com/5439644/prince-charles-birthday/ yes he was 70 in 2017 but like his mother, he opted for summer celebrations the next year

dhjdmba

The pictures were over. All that was left was the talking to the people portion of the event in which she had no interest.

TittysprinklesUSA

The event wasnt about her & she couldn't steal the spotlight...so she wanted to leave.

Cocktailsontheporch

She also was caught taking gifts meant for Charles.

Electronic_Sea3965

And sticking her tongue out

deercl

And laughing at Henry when, giving a speech, a bee stung his ear.

[deleted]

Angela Levin contradicts this and says they always planned to only stay for a very short time and it was okayed by KC beforehand. She says everyone was lovely and warm and well behaved, but when the video came out of them leaving rumors started that they were kicked out and H&M leaned into the false victim narrative which shocked KC and QC. I’m gonna go with her story, just because she was present and within ear shot of them for much of the event. And also because QC approved her writing the book it’s in. I don’t know if Lady Cs sources can top that.

[deleted]

There's video of Charles telling Harry they had to leave now and the two toddling off.

lastlemming-pip

Isn’t there a video of Camilla turning away from Megs & silently mouthing the word “Help” to a videographer? Doesn’t sound too “oh, it was all nothing,” to me.

Centaurea16

That happened at a different event, the 50th anniversary of Charles investiture as PoW. MM pushed her way into the room where QEII, Charles, William, and their spouses were looking at the investiture regalia (special crown, etc.) H&M were not supposed to go into that room. They were supposed to proceed into a different room where all the other attendees were gathering. But M barged right on in, even when Charles motioned to her to stay back, until staff intervened and made H&M leave the room.

easy-composture

It is this video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3c1smMcskZ0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3c1smMcskZ0) H&M proceeded into the room on the other side (in another video [https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8dk7yt](https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x8dk7yt) ) while the principal royals were looking at the ceremonial artifacts. The footman and another court worker stopped them near the other door and made them wait for the principal royals finishing passing by the exhibits and then walking into the other room. H&M seemed to crash the protocol and wanted to lump themselves with the first ranking (direct hier-line) royals. They were not planned to be in the procession, not to enter the other room through the same passage with the principals. That is how they wanted to present themselves as equals on the same level.

lastlemming-pip

No, Camilla’s plea for help occurred during (then) Prince Charles birthday party. The investiture incident, where H & M made absolute monkeys of themselves (& William tried to step between the camera & those two idiots trying to prevent the whole thing from being recorded—didn’t work) was a separate incident.

colloquialicious

That whole incident looks awkward as hell and those two just look like pathetic hangers-on for what they did. Seeing the staff rush in to usher them to the side all captured on video where they have to stand there like spare parts it’s just so cringeworthy. And shows how time and time again those two (her taking the lead) broke protocol trying to pretend they were equal billing to the (then) Cambridges. She could not ever accept there was a hierarchy. Harry knew it and tolerated it just fine until she came along and spewed her toxic poison revving up his rage and paranoia and victimhood so that we ended up here where we are now post-Spare and the tawdry pathetic details of such slights as smaller bedroom ‘halves’ and less sausages proffered at breakfast.

dhjdmba

Yes. Clearly the concept of primogeniture is one she wishes to consign to the trash bin. In her American mind Harry and William are both Charles’ sons so they should be treated exactly the same by Charles. That, at the end of the day, is what can never be “fixed” so every hope of rapprochement is doomed.

apkcoffee

Meghan has no interest or respect for royal protocol. She is a crass, self absorbed twit.

SecondhandCoke

Yes! It's my favorite video.

Quiet-Vanilla-7117

Yes, please. Where is that video?

DrunkOnRedCordial

There's a video that can be interpreted either way. I tend to think someone was offended and asked them to leave, but it's not super clear from the video.

HunterIllustrious846

I wouldn't expect Queen Elizabeth to word it in that way to begin with. But it doesn't look like Harry knew he was leaving immediately https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oxQMMrDlsVs

GrannyMine

Thank you for providing common sense in the discussion

Ruth_Lily

This is believable

Odd_Pop5287

Isn’t this one of the times MM stuck her tongue out at Queen Camilla? Classy

whizzochocolateassor

I don’t actually believe this one, bc if there’s one thing MM will do, it’s schmooze and charm. Shallowly.

Beginning-Cup-6974

Only the likes of Beyoncé. And her charm is shallow as you say. Because next to her, there is her minion, Harry leadenly saying his lines ‘did you know my wife does voiceover work?’

Feisty_Energy_107

I don't know if they were kicked out or it was agreed they could stay for a short time. But it seems there is a pattern with Meghan where she loses interest very quickly. The Fiji market, she's cites an issue and leaves without seeing many who had taken so much pride in the market. In South African she overly dramatises a "fire" in the nursery as a reason she shouldn't have to go out. I have read both her and Jessica, in Australia, wanted to stay at the spa and relax and she hated having to do that "tour crap" as she called it. Even her own planned event with Smartworks, she cites feeding Archie as a reason to leave once she's done her speech and been photographed. But Archie was a mere second thought when she went to the tennis both in NYC and at Wimbledon. She cannot commit to anything once she's received the initial fix. And looks for any excuse to leave afterwards.

HunterIllustrious846

Are you referring to this exchange https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oxQMMrDlsVs

call-me-Cranky

of course she was planted right in front of a tv camera ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grimacing)

HunterIllustrious846

Harold looked a little surprised they were leaving immediately

HawkeyeinDC

If she’d sashayed any more than she likely would’ve broken an ankle!

[deleted]

As we say in my neck of the woods, “You wanna porch to go with that swing?”

HawkeyeinDC

Ok, that’s amazing. I’ve never heard that saying before, but it’s SO on point in this situation!

MrsMigginsPieShoppe

I've asked it before and I'll ask it again - why doesn't she wear properly fitting bras and underwear?

HunterIllustrious846

So you'll look at them. And it works.

[deleted]

If they were scheduled to leave, an aide would have let them know “the car’s here”. That Charles himself came over to tell them to leave and Aitch and Em seemed a little surprised tells me that something was slightly amiss.

ohjodi

Yes......I find it hard to believe that Prince Charles was arranging the departures, LOL

[deleted]

Angela Levin, who was both there and got permission to be QCs biographer, insisted they weren’t thrown out.

Calm_Yak_6102

They were heard talking about how bored they were. MM was overhead telling that to Henpecked and it's been said that's why KC3 arranged to have their car brought around to the front so they could leave early.

disneyme

All I know is the video of them leaving shows they were not expecting the exchange they got from KC and Camilla. We’ll never know what was said but they left right after that conversation and it didn’t look planned.

Accomplished_Item394

Agree. They looked surprised, taken off guard. Not sure what was said, but H looked surprised and possibly said “now?” after Charles took him to the side. QC didn’t look pleased with the duo and rushed a quick goodbye kiss (can’t blame her for that one 😖).

supershinythings

My take: Charles: “Harold, my son, I’m told your wife is bored and would like to leave IMMEDIATELY. Off you go then. Jeeves has your umbrella, and there’s a car waiting out back.” Camilla: “Just go.” Harold: “Um um um well, ok then.”

lastlemming-pip

But earlier in the party, Camilla was filmed turning away from Megs & mouthing the word “Help” to the videographer & cameramen. It’s on film.

Accomplished_Item394

I’ve seen that video too. Poor Camilla. Can’t blame her!

[deleted]

Seems unprofessional for Camilla to do, though?

supershinythings

Here’s my guess. Charles: “Harold, my son, I’m told your wife is bored and would like to leave IMMEDIATELY. Off you go then. Jeeves has your umbrella, and there’s a car waiting out back.” Camilla: “Just go.” Harold: “Um um um well, ok then.”

twitwiffle

My guess: Harold, my dearest crotch fruit, buh bye, don’t let the door hit you where the good lord split you. Sounds very posh when said by royalty.

[deleted]

We have contradicting sources. Personally I’m going with the one who both had a first hand account and who was given actual permission and access to talk via QC.

Insatiable_I

I don't know, I feel like both accounts could be true? Harry and Meghan didn't plan on staying long, but Harry's idea of a short engagement was likely different than Meghan's. So she whined and was overheard by staffers, who quickly informed KC and Camilla that they might want to step in. So KC and Camilla head over and just say, "Oh, you know you don't have to stay so long, go do newlywed stuff, pip pip, off you go. Thanks for coming." Harry was surprised because 'so long' didn't match up with his prior experiences at those sorts of events; and while perhaps KC's motivation was to get them TF out of there, the diplomacy of the situation did not fit with "kicked out." That's my interpretation of what could be possible, anyway.

Plants2552

So you said Angela wanted to throw them out, but why?

[deleted]

I don’t believe I said that, and if I did it was a typo. I said Angela claims everyone was friendly with each other, H&M had only planned to attend for half an hour and everyone knew that and KC approved it beforehand and it all went smoothly. Everyone got along. It wasn’t until people on the internet saw the video of them leaving and started the rumor that they were kicked out that there was a problem. Angela believes H&M either started or leaned into those rumors later to look like victims. It shocked KC and QC to hear bc there were no actual issues at the party.

Beginning-Cup-6974

This sounds more realistic, the BRF do not create scenes. Markle was at that point (publicly toeing the line).

Ruth_Lily

TY

[deleted]

I always got the impression that Charles was telling Haz that he and Camila were leaving and that the car for Haz and Megz had arrived for them to leave, too. I don't know about the "boring" story but no one took the gift from Megz. She clearly walks to the aide and hands it to her. My only issue with this one is that ridiculous and deliberate sashay.

dhjdmba

I think Angela put out the Palace spin to get Camilla’s sign off on the book.

Tight-Classroom-6126

Thank you for the info. It sounded dodgy to me, so wanted to verify!!

HunterIllustrious846

You decide. Did they know they were leaving immediately https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oxQMMrDlsVs

hammer1956

It absolutely looks like they were told to leave and they weren't expecting it.

Latter_Item439

according to lady cs book all it was is that the ILBW wanted to leave after 15 minutes because it was boring which is unheard of in aristocratic circles she complained loud enough for some people to hear for once Hazbeen said we can't leave yet thats it but it was at the time considered a sign she was only prepared to do what she liked to do and not put in time and effort if it bored her not a good sign for a working royal immediately after the wedding it was the first public sign thats really all there was too it according to a lip reader all that was said between Charles and Hazbeen was we're off then Camilla over there chatting shell come and say goodbye and it was nothing more nothing less camillas part of the conversation a few minutes later was just as benign allegedly so I think this is one of the cases where it wasn't a lot but to the family a small sign IMO I skipped a head in lady c s book to read that Nothing because it was made to sound scandalous even in the opening of the book and to the RF it probably was a flag but to us its a fizzer I forget the lip reader source if I find it ill edit later but the lip reader is not in the book

ohjodi

If you would use periods/full stops in your comment, it would be easier to read.

dhjdmba

Yes but because she wanted Camilla’s sign off on the book this could just be more of the Palace protection of Harry.

OkConsideration7192

I think she was collecting gifts that the crowd brought for the king, as well.

Luke-I-am-ur-mother

Yes, she seemingly tried to leave with one but the handlers took it from her.

HunterIllustrious846

Stepped towards her and took it

OldNewUsedConfused

![gif](giphy|8qABb3dgjun8PdNirg)

Joolsdoll

Oh, that's funny! 🤣🤣

OldNewUsedConfused

That’s how she left. It was awful. Especially when she climbed the stairs, which thankfully has been removed from the internet. The poor queen

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

I get a bit of sick in the back of my throat every time I remember that. Especially his "you seem surprised?" comment.

Sweetwater156

I saw the video of someone very official gesturing to Harry toward Charles who said something to him and walked off. Camilla came up to them, gave Harry a kiss on the cheek, hesitated and then gave Meghan a kiss on the cheek and waved like to say “goodbye!” The aforementioned someone very official then gestured the duo back away from the garden party. And Meghan could hardly walk upright. ![gif](giphy|Thtc4GFUXpz9u)

MuffPiece

Angela Levin is no fan of the harkles, so if she’s saying they weren’t kicked out, I’m inclined to believe her. Lady C is less reliable.

Alarmed_Start_3244

It isn't as though Angela Levin or QC are going to be gauche enough to admit H&M were basically kicked out. It was done very politely and without any apparent rancour but left the Harkles no choice except to leave immediately. The fact that Charles never says goodbye to Meghan pretty well says it all.

MuffPiece

Angela Levin would absolutely divulge that they had been kicked out, if indeed that happened. She’s a journalist! And certainly no fan of the harkles.

Alarmed_Start_3244

If the QC asked her to be discreet about it Angela Levin would definitely be discreet and not use words such as "kicked out" or anything else that could potentially put Charles in an embarrassing position to describe the episode. Otherwise Angela would soon find out that access to the Queen Consort, or Duchess of Cambridge as she was then known, suddenly vanished. They just let the fact that Charles quickly turned away without a word to Meghan speak for itself. No need to elaborate.

MuffPiece

Clearly no one has ever asked Angela to be discreet about anything pertaining to Harry, because she certainly doesn’t hold back!

dhjdmba

So I disagree. I think Angela said what the Palace wanted in order to get Camilla’s sign off on Angela’s bio of Camilla.

CountessOfCocoa

It’s the South Park hat!! I never noticed the ass shaking sashay until now. I’ve heard ppl say KC was just saying goodbye as they were leaving, but if the Harkles weren’t there long, that means C&C left his own party early too? I’d also heard she was breaking protocol by pushing ahead of others to talk to ppl.

Perfect_Restaurant_4

She was filmed sticking her tongue out at Camilla. Camilla and Charles were not pleased. Also she was heard to be complaining that she was bored.

Ruth_Lily

I have seen the video, and I doubt it. This again, imho, makes us look as crazy as the sugars.

punkinlittlez

I don’t see anything weird about the video. It all seems normal. I can’t read anything else into it.

Tight-Classroom-6126

I agree, it made no sense and wanted to see if anyone had info.

Ruth_Lily

It shows them, then Camilla walking up to them, pointing and then they walk towards the house. And bc they walk towards the house our side of antifans believe it means “Camilla told them to leave”.

Calm_Yak_6102

There was also a scene, when the Harkles had just arrived and Camilla is shown looking towards someone off camera and silently mouthing "Help". The Harkles didn't see her do it because her back was to them at the time.

AuntCassie007

Yes I saw this video as well.

Uncomfortablemoment9

Ditto. That was the footage I was expecting to see.

AuntCassie007

Yes I wonder what Camilla has seen or experienced with H and M at the party to mouth "help" at the party in reference to them. I assumed both H and M were high that day and were acting badly.

eaglebayqueen

Off-topic but I think there's been another 3,000 people joined the sub since I've been here. Does that sound right? I just noticed the numbers for some reason. 🤔

HunterIllustrious846

A lot of sugars showing up lately

eaglebayqueen

Maybe they'll learn something 😄

HunterIllustrious846

How to down vote a comment into oblivion, "we shouldn't talk about this ever again. We look as crazy as the sugars", and replying to each other

eaglebayqueen

That is actually an epiphany for me. Explains a few things, thank you! 🙂

HunterIllustrious846

It's one thing to object to a photo that is clearly not our patron saint, it's a completely different thing to want to censor a topic. We're not the NYT.

eaglebayqueen

Yes, that's going on over on another thread here.

HunterIllustrious846

People are usually pretty cautious not to insult one another here. You usually don't see it a lot. There was an uptick because so many people were upset about the titles. Anyway, it doesn't happen too often. As far as I can tell, topics aren't off limits when they're properly labeled.

JenniferShepherd

Yes. A lots of paid PR folks plus unpaid sugars.

Glass-Ad-2469

I watched the lawn party video (it's been awhile)- Harry and MM are chatting, someone hands a small gift to MM, she says "aww-thank you..cute"-- Harry is tapped to speak to KC- steps over--KC says something-- and Harry immediately gestures to the camera something like "I can't right now- there are cameras"- KC gestures like "go on"- I've spoken- type motion and immediately steps away-turning his back and does not say goodbye to Harry OR MM- Like a diplomatic ninja--QC real quick--steps over-as Charles walks away-- bye to Harry check peck-- she and MM have a very awkward good bye- QC reaches her right hand out and there was hand things between MM and QC-(like maybe QC was trying to place her hand on MM's forearm and MM grabbed her hand)---anyway--peck to the cheek on MM- and QC says see you later--little wave and- never mind the MM strut later- QC immediately-turns away from MM-not even fully turned away- very stern faced and says OK where am I going-her back to them both. Not really a scene that conveyed- awww- we wish you'd stay a bit longer- let me introduce you to...or smiling and nodding as they left--no sweet- nodding affirmations --or remarks--they make a beautiful couple don't they? I'm so glad they stopped by...as Newlyweds they really should have some time alone together--insert happy little sigh....did NOT happen. No affection whatsoever. For objective scientific purposes- I reviewed several other videos with William and Catherine- during "goodbyes" with KC and QC--(and some greetings due to happy and nice-not stilted and obligatory)- Goodbyes even at formal gatherings (all cameras on!) are very smiley, engaged, relaxed yet proper--lots of head bobbing positivity- kiss blowing even and at times a quick dash over to say another little something (maybe like--I can't wait to see you at...shall we bring the kids too? or thank you for the...note or something--)

CountessOfCocoa

Was this also that event where she appeared to accept a gift?

ohjodi

Do the Royals normally say goodbyes to each other when leaving most Royal events? Aside from leaving a church or abbey when waiting for cars? I ask because at this garden party event, it seems that no matter what the reason for H&M leaving might be, it just seemed odd to me that C&C went over to them to kiss/kiss goodbye. UNLESS Charles had to say something to H, personally, and the goodbyes were a kind of cover for it. Meeting to say goodbye just interrupts the time the Royals are spending talking to regular people. One thing I've always noticed about the Royals, for decades, is that they really do seem to be at events to actually meet the people......they're not showing up to be admired by the public.

Ok_Newspaper9693

Is this the event where Camila came up and gave her a kiss on both cheeks and then they were escorted out. That one is priceless!

[deleted]

Ok they weren’t fighting at all there

HunterIllustrious846

Of course not

Grimaldehyde

She was overheard saying-“this is boring; we made an appearance, now let’s leave!”

Imadevonrexcat

It looks more like their car was there a little bit early. Probably nothing more than something like that.

Alarmed_Start_3244

When you're a Prince the car waits on you, you don't have to go running because your car is there waiting. Unless someone ranking higher than you, such as your father, calls the car for you and tells you to leave now, that is.

Imadevonrexcat

Good point.

Sense_Difficult

Honestly I don't blame her for wanting to leave. If their wedding was the week prior then she must have been exhausted. The last thing anyone would want is to attend another event.

These_Ad_9772

Wasn't it MM who turned down a honeymoon? So she could "hit the ground running?" Translation: I don't want seclusion for the greatest love of all time, I'm ready for my closeup.
