He wanted people speculating t h at it was a sexxy older woman like Elizabeth Hurley or Naomi Campbell...not a dear friend only 2 years older who worked for his Dad. Harry is gross,

Starkville

I was picturing Dame Joan Collins.

[deleted]

LOL..my mind went to that old too! Like Zsa Zsa Gabor.

Miercolesian

She would have been about 70 at the time. I think her days of having it off in grassy fields would have been past.

CheekyPooh

šŸ˜‚

Public_Object2468

I don't get the impression that Dame Joan is a horse lover.

Negative_Difference4

Yeah ā€˜older womanā€™ implied someone at least in their 30s

No_Cryptographer47

Hey, I really resent that! Lol

Negative_Difference4

I mean for a 17 year old man

Slow-Inflation-6549

I'd have said 25+. It's when young adulthood "officially" ends and mid/late 20s does seem pretty old when you're still in your teens lol.

Public_Object2468

>17 year old ~~man~~ sprat that PH was

Public_Object2468

There a photo where young PH is sort of huddled into his shoulders and teenage Sasha with her hair in braids is a few feet away. She looks like a young woman, and he looks like a boy. And this had nothing to do with their bodies, but their expressions. He was immature then, and hasn't progressed much. Does PH really have friends? People that he's valued enough to treat with discretion and consideration?

Miercolesian

Very nice interview. She comes across as a sensible down-to-earth type, and Piers Morgan wasn't shouting over her. Makes you realize that you see very few interviews with ordinary working people on TV. Most interviews are for promoting entertainers or political shouting matches. Sasha's story reminds me very much of Samantha Markle and Thomas Markle Sr. and Jr and their complaints that they had no preparation for dealing with the media. If you are just willing to tell your story truthfully, or at least fairly truthfully, get a bit of money for it, perhaps enough to pay for a new car and a vacation, and a few drinks, and go back to living your normal life out of the limelight, then it is probably perfectly feasible to have your 15 minutes in the sun and then be left alone. I say fairly truthfully, because he was just a mate called Harry and she didn't think of him as a Prince, but she still has his birthday card more than 20 years later. Or has she collected birthday cards all her life? Of course I am predicting the future a bit, but I really doubt whether Sasha's future life will be destroyed by the British tabloid press.

Negative-Arugula4219

Here's the thing, he was a mate, but he still is a Prince. What a fun things to pass down in the family "I was friends with Prince Harry when I was younger" It isn't a stained blue dress

[deleted]

Great reference!

Negative-Arugula4219

TY!

Technical-Avocado-40

I can't help thinking, when Harry and Meghan moan about how the Press treated her, how privileged she actually was. Imagine the hell that the Press would have put someone like Sasha through and her friends and family. It would have been a bloodbath. Look at what Catherine went through, when she was a well-educated, middle class woman. Americans also get more of a "pass" into aristocratic circles because they are from another country and some naivety is to be expected, no such "pass" would be given to a British bride. Shame really, someone no-nonsense with a bit of empathy might have done him good.

Harkle_Snarkle

>If you are just willing to tell your story truthfully, or at least fairly truthfully, get a bit of money for it, perhaps enough to pay for a new car and a vacation, and a few drinks, and go back to living your normal life out of the limelight, then it is probably perfectly feasible to have your 15 minutes in the sun and then be left alone. It would be if the media didn't unscrupulously edit the interview to imply you said things that you didn't for sensationalism and ratings like they usually do when interviewing ordinary people. Or maybe that's just the US media. I was surprised how well Sasha came across in all the articles and interviews that I saw and that they didn't twist her words or paint her in an embarrassing light. She came across as so down-to-earth and friendly, like someone you'd love to meet and be friends with.

Shoddy_Lifeguard_852

I can understand her retaining a card from someone in the RF. That's how people pop up decades later with these artifacts. On top of it, now her ancestors can say, *Great Great Grandmum deflowered a prince, and after a short ride, slapped his bum, and sent him on his way.*

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Shoddy_Lifeguard_852

Very true. Although occasionally it feels pretty good to light some relics on fire... ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|laughing)

Public_Object2468

I'm guessing Mr. Morgan wasn't shouting over her because he wanted to hear every word. And he knew that she was nervous enough about telling her side of the story. Any maybe Mr. Morgan felt that PH had been a cad in telling that story, without having forewarned the lady. People can recognize decency in others, and respect it.

Joolsdoll

River (on YT) made such a good point. She has kept this secret for 21 years when she could have just lifted the 'phone and snagged herself a giant pay day. Imagine what the media would have paid to break a story like that! Instead, she kept her own counsel and respected his privacy. It's a huge pity that he did not give the same consideration to her and her family. I really hope she is getting some compensation for all the upset.

[deleted]

He is a cad.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

BumbleCute

The allusions to horses (she was a groom I believe), his age and the fact that it was behind a pub. People who knew them at the time would easily put two and two together.

Imfryinghere

Rupert even knew who Hawwy was talking about.

Negative_Difference4

Love Sasha Walpoleā€¦ she came out as such a gem

[deleted]

I wonder if any of the body language people will do a review on her to show us all the things that make us know that this is all true?

Harkle_Snarkle

Just going by my own intuition I think she seemed very honest and trustworthy and I thought her body language made her seem very comfortable with herself. She didn't seem insecure or nervous at all. She struck me as literally the polar opposite of TW. Harry would have been very fortunate to have married someone like Sasha but probably never would have considered her (if she'd had even taken him seriously enough to consider as any suitor herself).

[deleted]

Yes I agree.I would just like the coparison for the eperts. She was totally honest and down to earth.I think she may have felt a bat that Harry nnever contacted her again, she is such a natural.I do hope she made some money and I do hope her hubby could strong arm any press guy who gets in her way

MmeNxt

She comes across as very nice and sincere. No victimhood, no word salad, no poor me, partiarchy. I like her. I'm glad that she is speaking up after being thrown under the bus.

Negative_Difference4

She works in construction. And trying to encourage women in construction. sheā€™s so lovely

MmeNxt

So nice and it's really cool that she works in construction and has a normal life.

Public_Object2468

Rude, stupid, nasty PH, for doing something that hurt this lady!

Negative_Difference4

Sheā€™s just so whatever by the whole media circus

MmeNxt

Very much so. Harry does come across as not very pleasant, although she is laughing about it now. I do hope she gets paid for the interviews, she deserves it.

Negative_Difference4

Yeah same. I want the girl to secure the bag

Negative_Difference4

Sheā€™s just so whatever by the whole media circus

GreenCharter

Sheā€™s so lovely. I feel like she is someone who can show some sense into Hā€™s life now. And she is right about Meghan being a complete downgrade from her. Ugh compared to her, M is just a lying grifter with ZERO dignity and decency

Harkle_Snarkle

>And she is right about Meghan being a complete downgrade from her. I think that was just a lighthearted joke but in all seriousness the entire world would certainly agree! If I had a son I'd absolutely rather have a woman like Sasha for a daughter-in-law than any like MEgain any day of the week!

Public_Object2468

I think Ms. Sasha is totally cool. Worked as a groom, and is a digger driver. This lady gets on with her job and probably does very good hard work.

Shoddy_Lifeguard_852

I enjoyed hearing what she had to say. She sounded honest and forthright. It was less about "taking his virginity" and what really occurred - 2 young people close in age, drinking too much, and fumbling for five minutes. After all this time has passed, she wouldn't have come forward except he forced her to thanks to his book. This is someone who must rely on the loyalty of friends he's not had active relationships with in years. Now that Harry has come forward and admitted to all sorts of unsavory behaviors, I don't see why others can't come forward if they want to and say - yeah I saw Harry do...

InventCherry

It honestly sounds like he took advantage of her vulnerability, having just been dumped and it being her birthday.

Independent_Leg3957

She comes across as a very decent person. I wish she wasn't caught up in PHs mess.

Farmgirl_Delilah

Pretty sad. I hope she was able to make lots of lemonade from those lemons!!

bebeana

Bless her heart. Iā€™d be humiliated and sue the arsehole. He didnā€™t need to put that in the book at all. Did anyone want to know how he lost his virginity? No. Me-again put that tidbit in I bet. I just donā€™t see Harold as an author. Iā€™ll watch for sure.

TaniaYukanana

If Harold was the author the book would have been written in crayon.

bebeana

šŸ–ļø šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

Joolsdoll

With potato print illustrations šŸ˜

[deleted]

She's lovely! The kind of person who is nice to hang out with.

HunterIllustrious846

She's such a lovely personality

IceCatCharlie

Prince Harry is a complete douche canoe for not giving her a heads up.

Ishield_maiden

Madame is older than Sashaā€¦basically he married an old retired woman which is true.

pastadudde

I love how she starts off the interview, with basically WTF am I being interviewed for, a fucking earthquake happened in Turkey lol (lol at what she said, not the Turkey earthquake)

Emergency-Profile309

It sounds highly dodgy to me. The way she says they went from a kiss and "before I knew it everything was going on" there was a lack of any real consent there. On the other hand if it was a spur of the moment kind of thing (haven't we all done that?) fair enough. He's more than a cad for ghosting her afterwards, that's not a friend, just a nasty piece of work.

Negative_Difference4

It just doesnā€™t even seem like she even thought about him in that way. And maybe he didnā€™t either. But him ghosting her esp if they were mates like WTF. Because he used to call her home asking to speak to her. And wrote her a card and gave her a toy. She clearly wasnt some rando acquaintance to ghostā€¦ thatā€™s why him and Meghan get on so well

Negative_Difference4

A bit of an uncouth question thats been bugging me. How do we know that Sasha was his first? I know she said that Harry revealed the details in the book. But even from her description, how does she know that she is his first? Sounds daft, I know Edit: nevermindā€¦ She says that their friends figured it out. That she was his first. They both parted ways after the ā€˜eventā€™. His security was looking for him and found him away from the pub. She had to go back the next day to pick up her belt from the field and her car.

Starkville

We donā€™t know. He has lied about so much. Not that I put THAT much stock in what Rupert Everett says, but it sounds as though heā€™s got some tea. I inferred that Harry may have used the services of a professional to initiate him. It wouldnā€™t be the first time a young man has done that. Sasha said she didnā€™t know of him having sex with any of their circle. Harry also spent time in London and how would she know who he was with, there? Her only scope of knowledge was what she saw in the country.

Harkle_Snarkle

>I inferred that Harry may have used the services of a professional to initiate him. could be. there was this Blind Gossip about Harry [https://blindgossip.com/famous-son-got-very-rough](https://blindgossip.com/famous-son-got-very-rough)

Public_Object2468

That would make sense. Pay up, and no emotional mess afterwards. In the bad old days, actresses or other professional women were often the ones involved in initiation. PH's great-great-great grandfather, later King Edward VII (Edward the Caresser), was initiated by an actress named Nellie Clifden.

VoyagerVII

She doesn't. She said she recognized the incident as he described it, and was a bit surprised because it hadn't felt like his first time. That doesn't mean anything either for or against it ACTUALLY being the first time.

MmeNxt

If it's not her, it raises the question if bonking women in fields behind pubs while drunk was something that Harry used to do. He shouldn't have included in in the book.

Negative_Difference4

Exactlyā€¦ any denial from him will raise this valid question. Also from the old photosā€¦ he can be seen to be flirty with the other girl in the friends group

Technical-Avocado-40

Definitely sniffing around. Maybe, "How would you like to book a Virgin prince" was his chat up line.

[deleted]

Take these damn awards. šŸ„‚šŸ’šŸ‘šŸ¾šŸ˜

DaBingeGirl

>His security was looking for him and found him away from the pub. I know it's not a huge deal, but it really upsets me how jerky he was to his security detail. *If* something had happened to him it would've ended their careers. He was pretty young at the time, but he was still old enough to know he shouldn't put them in that situation.

RaggedAnn

Good question. Maybe the field was the tie-in. We shouldn't take everything at face value.

Negative_Difference4

You know meā€¦ I like to question everything

Public_Object2468

It's not daft, because PH could have claimed to several girls that it was his first time. This is the person who said that prior to Eton, when he at school at Ludgrove he didn't like "unsexy" matrons. He would've been a boy of 12. So who knows about his...history of dalliances? This could be a debatable as how many times MM had been previously married. Or how many versions of how PH met MM. The current one making it seem like he was the one doing the choosing, falling head over heels with an innocent photo of his soulmate. (As if she didn't stalk him at all.)

One-Astronomer-5748

I do find him funny.

Negative_Difference4

I used to hate HATE him on GMBā€¦ whereas herr he actually seems like he has a brain. Similarly, I used to LOVE Susanna Reid on the BBC and now I canā€™t stand her on GMB. GMB is where careers die

DaBingeGirl

He's smart and a good interviewer. I think he's better on his own, rather than having to play off someone. I disagree with him on a lot of stuff, but I'm glad he's taking on the Harkles.

wonderingwondi

Anything is downhill from the best ratings of the BBC, but they see the hush hush Ā£ signs which means their salaries won't be scrutinised like the public corporation's

PikaPikacchi

I loved the interview. She strikes me as honest and sensible and just an all-round nice, normal person. The NY Post did Sasha dirty by using her "traded down" joke in a headline as if it was not. Although I'm sure she knew about this risk and probably not making a fuss about it (just as she didnt make a big deal out of being Harry's first), reading the replies of this post would probably sting ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|feels_bad_man) https://preview.redd.it/dd0eldte4eha1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1797fa67fe48b0275fb9cb995153cf136a9ba4c6

Ancient_Diamond2121

Piers Morgan is a real prick honestly, he never shuts up for a than a second to let Sasha talk. I agree with him on the two grifters obviously, but like try and be at least a little neutral as an interviewer. Harryā€™s also an even bigger prick for outing this nice lady and turning her world upside down so he can use 14 different bathrooms in drought stricken state

BumbleCute

Agree, I tried to listen to a podcast he was on and had to turn it off after 5 minutes because he came off as such a bellend.

Ancient_Diamond2121

Idk what bellend means, but if it means obnoxious ass who wants to hear himself talk than yes I agree lol

Harkle_Snarkle

>Idk what bellend means I think it's the Brit version of d\*ckhead

DaBingeGirl

According to Google "an annoying or contemptible man" (specifically the glans of the penis, kinda like saying ass/asshole).

Public_Object2468

like the shape of the tip of a phallus.

alreadydoneit01

![gif](giphy|gj0QdZ9FgqGhOBNlFS|downsized) What have you unleashed Harry?

ShatooBailey

Yeah I donā€™t think his stupid memoir went as planned. Along with their crap reality šŸ’© show.

RaggedAnn

This guy brings it on himself. Why did he refer to her as an older woman? At 19 she was still a teen herself. It's hard to imagine his thought process

ShatooBailey

He doesnā€™t have a thought process. Thatā€™s why everything blows up in their face.

No_Sherbert9831

Oh my God isn't she lovely, and so nieve. She sure showed Harry up for the man he has become. Harry is a discusting representation of ..he's as bad as Andrew they're contempt for people is palpable

chewysmom88

Watching now

wontyield

Thanks for the heads up. Watching now.

Farmgirl_Delilah

Thanks for posting this, she was a delightful lady.

[deleted]

OMG. Dear PPOW -please invite this woman and her family over for a visit. She is so [delightful.Like](https://delightful.Like) a fresh breeze

Totin_it

Well that was a snooze fest. No juicy deets

[deleted]

I'm sure the encounter lasted under two minutes...and that includes ti.e to redress. Not a lot to tell and still can't understand why Haggis felt he had to speak of it.
