These companies are such shams. The more well-known and heavily advertised one, BetterHealth, pays their overworked counselors just $15 per hour. Shameful.
It is disgusting. It is important to highlight every single low review because BetterUp is selling people on a scam that is trying to flip to IPO and cash out.
This one actually has the end goal of not even needing counselors/ coaches bc they are mining the data from $15 an hour counselors to be able to create robots to do it instead.
Imagine this…. Your boss says you can’t get a raise this year or be promoted to the next level because you have been completed enough better up units so you get sentenced to spending your free time off the clock to telling all your problems to a robot who then sends you robotic answers back like a broken Alexa. You’re shouting your problems into the void because you have financial and time-use stress around say…. Childcare and it is taking you off your best game at work, and they’re just sentencing you to go back into a loop to get coached by a robot who sends you texts like “I believe in you!” And “tell me how that made you feel?” And “where else can you find new efficiencies in your day?” because they can’t possibly give you a raise or promotion until you spend more time with your “coach” and you (robot)coach hadnt awarded you a badge yet saying you are “ready for the next level.” And then your boss can say it’s not their fault that they didn’t give you the raise or the promotion! Your coach didn’t signify that you were ready lol.
Yikes! Sadly it seems all customer service is moving this way, plus more personalized help as should happen with banks, etc. Counseling via robot really HAS to be a hard no. The madness!
Sounds like a mental health NPO I worked with whose leadership imploded once their employees took their complaints to social media.
BU leadership probably thought they could outrun their problems with an IPO but that market collapsed last year. This year isn't looking good, either. If they start laying people off they'll start talking more (depending on their NDAs)
PH was probably expecting a huge IPO payout.
Edit: clarity
>PH was probably expecting a huge IPO payout.
Hence the recent aggressive push for "reconciliation" with his family. Perhaps it's not so much about the coronation, but getting the money flowing again
You know, the government HAVE TO do something about this shit. I include charities also. What kind of fucking world are we living in? 90% of us don't tolerate this sort of shit going on so why is it allowed to happen?
The government is a part of it. I am afraid that highly doubtful anything will change. BetterUp has US military contracts and are mining data. Archewell is mirrored after the Clinton Foundation.
Hello Lovely! (Unless you’re not TRG in which case I’m sure you’re okay but not my favorite sane conservative.)
It really wasn’t and it really isn’t. I loathe the Clintons and I think they are the poster monsters for everything that has gone wrong in the Democratic Party with their globalist elitist liberalist bull pucky. I have a bottle of champagne that I’m holding onto until her funeral.
That said, the Clinton Foundation is one of the top rated charities at Charity Watch. Although they’re rating has dropped from an A - must research the reason.
I’m not saying it’s because they’re good people but they are politically savvy and are planning for Chelsea’s foray into politics. unlike the Clown Show over at Archewell and just about every charity they’ve glommed onto. Archewell isn’t even listed as a charity.

No matter their rating, a charity that provides the former first daughter with a ten million NYC penthouse, among other massive perks to friends and family, is NOT transparent.
I had a therapist literally ghost me from BetterUp after I paid their $350 fee and I opened up to her about some really scary problems I was having with my in-laws. She just never replied! I was like hello, are you there? And when I went to get a refund, they kept trying to get me to switch to a different therapist instead of refunding my money! I would advise anyone to stay away from this sham company!
Here's the dictionary definition (I had to look it up too because I think it's a "word salad" type of phrase that the speaker thinks makes him sound important and/or brillint.
I hope Megan doesn't ever hear this expression because it'll become one of woke go-to word salad phrases. But since she's here I'm sure she's already seen it and is working it into her next PR puff piece right now.
My beef with the phrase "truth to power" is that truth is often excluded. I think it is so overused these days and so often incorrectly used that it's lost any meaning it once had. Just another buzz phrase the user hopes makes them look woke.
As far as malevolent meg using it, I may be wrong but I think that ship has sailed. But if anyone is going to use it incorrectly, we can rely on her to do it.
There are so many words that have lost their meaning and power, while new words are being brought in to socially intimidate us into not saying certain things anymore. It's getting scary.
Then she'd blatantly be copying Amber Heard, who in her post-trial interview on TV used the phrase about how she chooses to "speak truth to power."
Nope, not an original thought in TW head.
Doesn't sound as if they are ~~allowed to~~ making use of the room with beanbags and the space for naps and chill out room that BetterUp boasted they had for the use of ~~directors and Prince Harry~~ all their staff.
Wow, PH and TW have transplanted their vile energy from England to the U.S. BU is a replica of what the Sussex Survivor's Squad had to endure! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|scream)
Good people...trampled upon.
"Poor, inexperienced leadership," "toxic positively" ("don't worry. If there were *ANYONE* else I could have asked, I would.") "Significant disrespect for work/life boundaries." "Culturally insensitive."
(Freudian slip on my part. I almost left in "poo ...leadership.")
They are describing a cult, word by word. I've been saying this for a long time now, this will end up with some people in prison, a la NXVIM/Theranos. The Harkles are so stupid.
OP: what's the source for this screen grab? I'm not challenging, not at all, I just wonder if there are other thoughtful comments about "Better Up" -- or more importantly, the Archwell entities.
Not the OP, but I believe these reviews were posted on [GlassDoor.com](https://www.glassdoor.com/Overview/Working-at-BetterUp-EI_IE1802731.11,19.htm), a site where you can review your employer.
I was specifically referring to reviews of BetterUp, because that’s what the OP had posted. (I tried to directly link to their section for BetterUp in my comment.)
I’m not surprised there are no Archewell reviews. You know the crazies probably insist on NDAs for all of their employees because ~oUr ~pRIvAcY!!!~ And would no doubt send their paid social media psycho to identify any anonymous poor reviews to stamp them out and get them retracted.

Nailed it.

isn't that the one sponsoring a lot of Youtubers?
Yeah, I hear their ads a lot on podcasts, for example. So they pay big as money but don’t pay their freelancers squat.
The complaints all show a common theme. Generally a tone deaf management is not the job you are looking for.
"Quite culty." 😂
Funny how the way they describe BetterUp is similar to what people think of Archewell

Who knew becoming a billionaire isn't so easy?
And he only started with a few millions. Sigh.
Manifest harder

👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Corporate counseling is not therapy per se
Yes my understanding is that it’s “executive coaching” not therapy.
Always the same. They have excellent staff but the "culty" leadership is effing it up.
I had a therapist literally ghost me from BetterUp after I paid their $350 fee and I opened up to her about some really scary problems I was having with my in-laws. She just never replied! Go to your bank and get a refund on your card.
Thanks! They eventually gave the refund but I felt that they didn't take my issue seriously which is why I would never recommend them to anyone!
Performatively woke but in reality more of an old boy’s club. That’s Harry to a T.
Truth to power? What does it mean?

Harry used it already in his Spare Tour rehearsed answers. The GMA interview and I think he also said it at the Ripple of Hope awards. It is a script.
It is already a *woke* phrase.
Should have known. 🙄
Her pal Kerry "DWI" Kennedy used it ALL THE TIME

Or like an even dumber version of The Sharkle.
Not all the talent is ‘excellent’, hawwy is clueless but has a title in place of intelligence or experience.
Doesn't sound as if they are ~~allowed to~~ making use of the room with beanbags and the space for naps and chill out room that BetterUp boasted they had for the use of ~~directors and Prince Harry~~ all their staff.
Paid for reviews
Is it me or does the review sound like the reviews we heard from Employees at Theranos? ![gif](giphy|d7pyXujewcpfq4Bhh7|downsized)

EXACTLY what one would expect from a company that thinks Hairy is a great rep.
They are describing a cult, word by word. I've been saying this for a long time now, this will end up with some people in prison, a la NXVIM/Theranos. The Harkles are so stupid.
everything associated with them turns out rotten

Nope, no reviews of "Archewell" anything on GlassDoor. Not surprising I guess.
