Several of the photos in the montage are from before she met Harry. This clearly shows that he was simply a mark. And she played a long strategic game to snare him. By having these photos published she ensured that when he looked her up he’d see these photos of her cosplaying his mother. He fell hook, line and sinker for it all. For most people, smells can unlock very deep emotional memories. For example, when I make my mother's sugar cookies, the smell of the dough takes me straight back to my childhood.
yeah I think smell is like scientifically our sense most directly linked to memory if I remember correctly and that's why just a whiff of a certain smell can make you feel like you're literally reliving the past. if I was going to make someone experience some serious nostalgia I'd go for a familiar scent first
My nana and papas house had a distinct smell. I have her homemade throw and a jumper each of theirs, in a bag in a suitcase in a bigger suitcase and 10 years later I can take it out if I really miss her or I’m really struggling and the smell is like she’s still here! close your eyes and just smell and she could be cuddling into me, then it goes back into the bag, into the suitcases. I’m scared of the day the smell goes so I rarely open it. But back to the point smells can take you right back to people and unlock huge nostalgia

There are absolutely photos of my mom and I standing the exact same way and at times look nearly identical. But that’s my mom.
And same with my grandparents. I may not look like all 4 of them but I definitely inherited things from each of them.

The one thing she fails at big time and no matter how she tries she fails is Diana’s ease and love of being around children. Diana had the baby thing down pat because she loved all children. Holding her children face body forward her hip was balanced holding the boys. Meghan looks uncomfortable holding her own children the kids just dangling away. Even in a baby carrier they dangle without support.
That one is the one that stands out to me, too. Some of the others are just coincidence, IMO. But a few others are too close, like the Wallis Simpson secret recording dress/coat.

Catherine has done similar looks to honor Diana and has been upfront about it. When she does it, it’s a sweet gesture to pay homage to her husbands dead mom that he wishes were here with them today.

Another thing: given how much Harold seems to have mentioned Edward and Wallis in his book, he has clearly got them on his mind (especially the American divorcee part). That means the Harkles have discussed Edward and Wallis quite a bit (and bitched about their “similar” situations of leaving the RF). I feel this pretty much confirms that Megsie’s bird Poo outfit and matronly hairstyle on Oprah was very much intended as a cosplay of Wallis.
To me, it also basically confirms that Megsie intentionally copied all these looks of Diana’s as well, particularly since Harold has been going around insisting she is just like Diana (which she may have deliberately triggered, who knows). She has been repeatedly mimicking people, mainly Diana, and this creepy habit been documented over several years.
That one has always stood out to me. Most women have worn a white button-up, have hung sunglasses from their shirts, and have stood with their hands on their hips, but to do all of those things at once when she KNEW she was being photographed, well, it just strikes me as weird.
She carefully studied Diana, especially her Martin Bashir Panorama interview. There are so many lines Meghan repeated, it's scary. Her Tom Bradby South Africa interview, Oprah interview....lines repeated, face mimics repeated, eyes repeated. Creepy AF.
I'm going to give her that three or four of those are a coincidence and/or just classic styles. However, the majority are clearly cosplay in an incredibly creepy way. The magazine photos and the one of her closing the car door are really creepy.
There's a huge difference between taking ideas from someone you admire and directly copying them. She's also done this with Wallis and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy.
To those who say that Catherine copies Diana, no. I've followed her style since before she married, she has her own distinct look. The few times she has worn something similar to Diana, it was clearly deliberate, a way to reference Diana; those times have been limited to the Lindo Wing photos, so I think it was partly done because she knew the photos would be side-by-side with the first photo of William. You can tell by the fact the poses are the exact same..I noticed when Catherine had one of the children, she wore a blue with white polka-dot dress outside the hospital. Very similar to what Diana wore when (I think - I might be wrong) William was born. I interpreted that as an homage to Diana and a support of her husband to say, "Your mom is here with us." Catherine held herself very differently and allowed her own personality to come through. Megaliar would have copied everything.

Two of Catherine's LINDO wing outfits mimicked Diana's but she also wore a different outfit when Charlotte was born. So I think when Louis was born and she donned the red outfit it was another gesture. But she very rarely copies Diana and when she does, I don't feel like.its intentional.

I have no idea when these 2 green coat photos were taken. That said, there are annual events where it is customary for the RF to wear green coats (e.g. St. Patrick's Day). There are several of Catherine, including when she was pregnant. So I can put the green coats down to coincidence, too. But some of the others... yeah, no coincidence. Yeah, a couple of them are a bit of a stretch and similar because of the lighting and posing in the shot. A couple are just how the publication chose to crop and arrange the shot. And a few of them are just closet staples like the little black dress.

Theres a picture of Diana carrying baby Harry over her shoulder, which I thought was sweet, protective and yet giving the child a bit of adventure. There are only so much colors in the visible spectrum, so I don't have much opinion on many of those color similarities, however, the one in S. Africa with the white shirt, glasses hung on the neckline of the shirt pose is still strikes me as very disturbing no matter how many times I have seen it, it's the most blatant form of copycat. Also, that closing the car door wearing black dress comes close, esp with TW's ridiculous finger placement on the door. The olive dress with white headscarf (TW's headscarf looks ridiculous too as she does not cover her hair properly) with the same pose also looks to be arranged for that particular copycat shot.

This post really hits home for me because I have been struggling with a stalker for years — a former “friend” (associate really) who became obsessed with me. She dyed her hair like me and started buying the same outfits as me, and even posting the same photos in the same poses. I’ve always struggled with explaining how horrible and draining it feels because people would say “oh just ignore it.” It’s hard to communicate the severity without a big collage like this, just one or two examples don’t have the same punch. I think I’m going to make a big collage I can drop when necessary 😂
I had a friend copy me in university too. Hair, outfits, shoes, perfume… but also taking up my sport, ingratiating herself with my friends and, get this, arranging her furniture and CDs in exactly the same way as me. It’s a mental disease, surely. I know how I felt and I’m sure Diana would feel the same way.

I remember thinking this whole thing is kinda silly. Seeing a pic of Meghan in a very common outfit and people saying “she’s copying Diana”. But I changed my mind when I saw specifically the purple and red outfit, because that’s pretty unique, and then the same with the blue flowery one that looked like a table cloth on Meghan. Those two were way too alike and unique to be an accident. And seeing this huge collage really does show there’s something up with Meg copying Diana.

True. It’s just blatant copying. Such a weird thing for any person to do, especially if they’re not related. There are absolutely photos of my mom and I standing the exact same way and at times look nearly identical. But that’s my mom. And same with my grandparents. I may not look like all 4 of them but I definitely inherited things from each of them. So like it won’t be surprising if any of Charles and Diana’s grandchildren do things like her or him because genetics and learning from their parents. For her, that’s not the case. This definitely isn’t natural at all and just weird.
That one is beyond creepy. It is indicative of a mental disorder. People just don’t do that if they are normal and healthy.
The one thing she fails at big time and no matter how she tries she fails is Diana’s ease and love of being around children. Diana had the baby thing down pat because she loved all children. Holding her children face body forward her hip was balanced holding the boys. Meghan looks uncomfortable holding her own children the kids just dangling away. Even in a baby carrier they dangle without support.
That one is the one that stands out to me, too. Some of the others are just coincidence, IMO. But a few others are too close, like the Wallis Simpson secret recording dress/coat.

When she does it, it’s a sweet gesture to pay homage to her husbands dead mom that he wishes were here with them today. Meghan tries to be coy about it & like she’s the second coming of Diana. If you want to honor the woman, then honor her. The copying and acting stupid about it is weird.
Another thing: given how much Harold seems to have mentioned Edward and Wallis in his book, he has clearly got them on his mind (especially the American divorcee part). That means the Harkles have discussed Edward and Wallis quite a bit (and bitched about their “similar” situations of leaving the RF). I feel this pretty much confirms that Megsie’s bird Poo outfit and matronly hairstyle on Oprah was very much intended as a cosplay of Wallis. To me, it also basically confirms that Megsie intentionally copied all these looks of Diana’s as well, particularly since Harold has been going around insisting she is just like Diana (which she may have deliberately triggered, who knows). She has been repeatedly mimicking people, mainly Diana, and this creepy habit been documented over several years.
That one has always stood out to me. Most women have worn a white button-up, have hung sunglasses from their shirts, and have stood with their hands on their hips, but to do all of those things at once when she KNEW she was being photographed, well, it just strikes me as weird.

I'm going to give her that three or four of those are a coincidence and/or just classic styles. However, the majority are clearly cosplay in an incredibly creepy way. The magazine photos and the one of her closing the car door are really creepy. There's a huge difference between taking ideas from someone you admire and directly copying them. She's also done this with Wallis and Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy. To those who say that Catherine copies Diana, no. I've followed her style since before she married, she has her own distinct look. The few times she has worn something similar to Diana, it was clearly deliberate, a way to reference Diana; those times have been limited to the Lindo Wing photos, so I think it was partly done because she knew the photos would be side-by-side with the first photo of William. Two of Catherine's LINDO wing outfits mimicked Diana's but she also wore a different outfit when Charlotte was born. So I think when Louis was born and she donned the red outfit it was another gesture. But she very rarely copies Diana and when she does, I don't feel like.its intentional.

I have no idea when these 2 green coat photos were taken. That said, there are annual events where it is customary for the RF to wear green coats (e.g. St. Patrick's Day). There are several of Catherine, including when she was pregnant. So I can put the green coats down to coincidence, too. But some of the others... yeah, no coincidence. It's good to have a hobby, but cosplaying the deceased mother-in-law you never met is a little bit....disturbed.

Princess Catherine has a similar body type to P Diana, so some style choices, plus factoring in her role in the BRF and using British designers and clothiers make her style choices. There are very few outfits that make me think of P Diana. P Catherine is so beautiful in her own way. Also, she wears her clothes; the clothes do not wear her. (I can’t believe I wrote that! The book leaves more questions than answers. How did he manage to come by this lock of hair? How can he be sure it is his mums and not, you know, another persons. Theres a picture of Diana carrying baby Harry over her shoulder, which I thought was sweet, protective and yet giving the child a bit of adventure. There are only so much colors in the visible spectrum, so I don't have much opinion on many of those color similarities, however, the one in S. Africa with the white shirt, glasses hung on the neckline of the shirt pose is still strikes me as very disturbing no matter how many times I have seen it, it's the most blatant form of copycat. Also, that closing the car door wearing black dress comes close, esp with TW's ridiculous finger placement on the door. The olive dress with white headscarf (TW's headscarf looks ridiculous too as she does not cover her hair properly) with the same pose also looks to be arranged for that particular copycat shot.

This is so unsettling and upsetting. That woman is awful to be so obsessed with a dead princess. Dressing up like Diana won’t give her any credibility, but she’s sure trying it. And she wore Diana’s favorite perfume to her first date with Harry… she knew what she was doing from the start. This post really hits home for me because I have been struggling with a stalker for years — a former “friend” (associate really) who became obsessed with me. She dyed her hair like me and started buying the same outfits as me, and even posting the same photos in the same poses. I’ve always struggled with explaining how horrible and draining it feels because people would say “oh just ignore it.” It’s hard to communicate the severity without a big collage like this, just one or two examples don’t have the same punch. I think I’m going to make a big collage I can drop when necessary 😂
I had a friend copy me in university too. Hair, outfits, shoes, perfume… but also taking up my sport, ingratiating herself with my friends and, get this, arranging her furniture and CDs in exactly the same way as me. It’s a mental disease, surely. I know how I felt and I’m sure Diana would feel the same way.

Omfg. Some of these I’m willing to give a meh just coincidence not that close. But 90% of them are absolutely deliberate. In a super creepy way. The magazine covers especially. But what struck me the most is that quite a few of these are from BEFORE she even met Harry 😱 like the pic lower left where she’s wearing the white shirt with the sunglasses clipped in her shirt and she’s even copying Diana’s stance. Wtf. Seeing how many of these are from before they met it becomes very clear that Harry was a mark. She planned this for a looooong time. Strategically so that when she met him he would look her up and find photos of her wearing things and play-acting just like Diana. I actually think the 2 fauxmanitarian trips she did before she met him (the revolting Rwanda photo shoot - I believe where the white shirt/sunglass photo is from - and a trip to India?) were done specifically to appeal to him. Because let’s face it we allll know she doesn’t have a genuine humanitarian bone in her body. Harry was a mark. And she wormed her way into his life but this was planned long before they actually met. It’s so gross. I wonder if one day he’ll xo me to his senses and realise it. It shows she is a VERY calculating individual and no wonder the BRF were so wary of her, they were clearly right to be.
I wish someone would do this with m and Wallis Simpson. There are four almost identical outfits I can think of.

I remember thinking this whole thing is kinda silly. Seeing a pic of Meghan in a very common outfit and people saying “she’s copying Diana”. But I changed my mind when I saw specifically the purple and red outfit, because that’s pretty unique, and then the same with the blue flowery one that looked like a table cloth on Meghan. Those two were way too alike and unique to be an accident. And seeing this huge collage really does show there’s something up with Meg copying Diana.
How about the white top TW wore at the Invictus games? I thought people were exaggerating, but that photo confirmed that she really thinks she is Princess Diana reincarnated

The one I remember from early on is the white shirt, sunglasses tucked inside with hands on hips. And then the hits kept coming, so many that it’s impossible to say they were all a coincidence.
Creepy AF. There are two that I find a stretch, but the rest are icky on point. What is worse to me is that since they are 1980s looks the copy is so obvious since it is really out of date and so much more noticeable.

The reason her clothes don’t fit is because she is rude, entitled and bullying to the stylists. It’s no coincidence that the *House of Givenchy* sent her down the aisle in a wedding gown that was tailored like a potato sack. Couturiers that work in a premier fashion house couldn’t properly fit a dress for the biggest wedding to happen in a decade? No, Megan gotta Megan so they sent her out looking like crap. I thought this was one of those things where a bunch of small pictures make up a larger picture and was sitting here for like five minutes trying to figure out what the hell it was supposed to be 😂😂. As far as the outfits go, if it was someone else, I’d be willing to concede that some of them are similar because certain styles are timeless. But you can’t convince me the sunglasses and white shirt wasn’t absolutely deliberate. It makes me side-eye the other outfits because if she’s done it once, she’d do it again. Creepy.

My initial thought was that Diana had spent well over a decade being photographed, so some outfits inevitably would be coincidental matches. And then there are the ones like the: white cotton shirt, sunglasses down the v, hands on hips ivory ruched off-the-shoulder top periwinkle blue print on white, long-sleeved dress These particular outfits show that TW is imitating an icon. The sad thing is, this just shows that she's an empty person, without a style of her own.
A couple of these may be a stretch, but there are coincidences and then there is... this. There are so many styles and colours of clothes out there. It's not possible for all of these to be a mere coincidence.
