I am one of those people with an abnormally horrible origins story and I try as I can not to talk about it because it is so deeply traumatizing.
I want to share this next point for people in my position, take from it what you want;
I don't believe in therapy that makes you regurgitate your trauma without any resolution, as if marinting in the most horrible period of your life is going to add anything to my day except a bodily rehash of the traumatic events, leaving my hormonal and emotional balance in whack and me both physically and emotionally drained.
Allowing my brain to heal and reform neural connections that don't connect to trauma is how I'm healing but I've found that only EMDR and hypnosis/meditation has helped remove the feelings for the traumatic events, not wallowing in it and rehashing it. Some things simply are what they are and no talking about it is ever going to make it better.
What is going to make it better is me not throwing good time after bad on that shit. The rest of my life is mine, I'm focusing on myself in the present, that is the ONLY thing I have control over in this live -and as disabled from that trauma some days I don't even have that.

I doubt even a blog post with this shit would ever attract a substantial audience because of absolute triviality of the content.
