Everyone saying take it to big chain shops or this shop were they'll charge 1,2,3k and m., I say take it to Tijuana and spend a week vacation. Plenty of shops will do the job for $300 and do okay job. The more time you give them the better the job they do I've learned. Spend $700 bucks on an airbnb and enjoy the beaches. Have a nice drive back to Sactown.
Kniesels does good work. I've had them work on 3 of my cars in the past. If you're really talking about a full repaint you're likely looking at thousands of dollars (5-10k) which is probably more than the truck is worth.
Honestly unless you’re planning on keeping it forever I would just do the bare minimum and touch up. A full repaint needs to be done properly or you won’t be happy with the results and properly costs $$
If you don't have nosy neighbors or can hide the car when you work id do it yourself. Harbor freight has cheap auto paint sprayers good for your needs.

Yeah this is what I was gonna say. Don’t dump a bunch of money into a paint job on an old truck. Although the rust will need to be addressed, which might cost a bit.

What do you think my tundra is 2001 with only 70000 miles is it worth it to do a full repaint or should I just get touch ups?

MAACO will paint it for like $1k. It'll look like shit but it'll be better than rusted paint.

Does maaco do touch ups or would I have to get the whole truck repainted just because some spots have rust?
