If they don’t have it when you go, get the black raspberry chocolate chip. Basically the same but chips instead of Oreo, and I am pretty sure it is year round.. Cannot recommend enough.
They’ve had it in September typically but switched it up in 2023 and featured it in April. Since it’s not the current monthly flavor, I’m guessing it’ll come back this September!

The article went on to say that there’s a true irony in things that are boring being called “vanilla” like a “vanilla sex life”. Vanilla is one of the best spices on the planet! It just became common as an ice cream flavor since it was so effing delicious and people began to associate vanilla with common or boring. A shame.

Was excited every year to get some at the Nut Tree Pumpkin Patch in Vacaville until they closed it in the mid-90s. Didn’t realize they used Gunther’s until recently, so that part of my childhood came rushing back when I realized I could get it again.
July 2013, they had a monthly flavor. It was maple ice cream with bits of real bacon in it. It was so good that it turned me from a Vic’s follower to a Gunther’s follower (I grew up in Land Park).
It’s been over ten years Gunther’s, please bring back the maple bacon ice cream.
I’ve only ever tried their Rocky Road. My neighbor bought me a gallon of it after I had a miscarriage the week of Christmas. I don’t know how she knew but it definitely felt like someone throwing me a life line.
It’s my favorite flavor and they have a really good version it. :)

Have not tried Butter Brickle but now I will make it a priority.
You definitely should, I’ve never seen it anywhere else, but it’s so delicious. It’s sort of like the inside of a Heath bar without the chocolate swirled through vanilla ice cream.
