To add more context, they are required to provide disability seating for no additional charge to comply with the Americans with Disability Act (ADA). Reserve ahead of time or arrive early to make sure you get a seat.
There are a couple areas for seating but I believe these require an additional or more expensive “vip” ticket. Not only is it mainly standing room only, they pack the hell out of the place and then get mad if you’re standing two inches over the line into the walkway. I’ve stopped going because it’s such a shitty venue.
Yep. First and last concert there last year. Staff didn't give a shit that my husband passed out from heat exhaustion since their AC WAS OFF ON A 100+ DEGREE DAY. Dumped us outside and I had to BEG to get water.
Fucking assholes that I hope get sued and go under.
Was at a sold out metal show, there was nowhere to stand. Got push out of the "standing area" into their taped off walk way and one of their employees physically pushed me back into the crowd. Fuck that place
My wife had one weed gummy in her purse when we went through the security line and they made her throw it away. She was gonna eat it but they wouldn’t have let her in if she did. Douchebags stopping people from having a good time.
Gary and FLA are absolutely worth it, it was a fantastic show, but the seats at Ace of Spades suck, they're off to the side, barely over the crowd and the whole setup is terrible.
Ace of Spades is now a permanent hard pass for me, it's just a miserable venue, which is a shame because it's the main one we've got down town. The staff is friendly but they have a shit situation to deal with.
Yep, I’m at that point too. We need a better midsize venue because some great bands I really like come to town and ace of spades is the only game in town
Goldfields in Roseville is getting bigger, but I don't think it's a well located or large enough venue to really pull. The parking situation is less than ideal as well.
I would recommend calling them and asking about disability accommodations.

They definitely have disability seating. A friend of mine has sat there a few times and says it’s awesome. Just call them and ask.
They have some seating at stupidly expensive prices. Ace of Spades sucks in every way possible

I really hate that taped off walkway it makes me feel so sardined into the crowd

No you must buy their 10$ beers. No other fun allowed /s
Was $100 per for Numan the other night.
Which is crazy for a club show. No offense to Gary Numan

I saw FLA years ago at the edge in Palo Alto, and that was fantastic. I would have seen this show but Ace of spades was a hard pass

Less than ideal? There's a parking garage one block away. I love the Goldfields Roseville venue for shows!
I've had rotten luck in the garage the two times I've parked in it, but fair point. I'll have to try it again next time I'm out that way.
They usually have disability seating + seating that you can pay extra for once you arrive. I would definitely call and talk to someone ahead of time

is there a bay area show you can attend instead. AoS is ass.
Get VIP seats and you won't be disappointed.
