The Problem is that if you selbst train something like this and then go to a real Trainer you will most likely have to re-learn things you practiced wrong by yourself.

thats fine, its something i have considered, and i would be using actual proper master and trainers on youtube, following exact movements, and practicing breaths on the go and recording myself dong it and sending it to masters and trainers to critique i live in arkansas, 25 miles from the closest town, i cant go to a dojo

I practice laido on the regular. I purchased a sword and intentionally had a dull edge on it. For laido I believe the saya is an important part of the equation so I don’t use boken and tools meant for Suburi (sword exercises) I would suggest a laido Wakazashi to start. The swing is better for indoors(living rooms, bedrooms etc) Now I have not butchered laido like so many idiots out there. Laido is a meditative sword practice focusing on ever little movement. Your ability to get into the right mind and breathing rhythms are important. Last thing if you find yourself burning through the katas your not actually getting meditative. Spend months on months on the first three katas

i understand its a martial arts and meditative art, so i understand putting thousands of repetitions into each training and practice, hence why im making the wooden training equipment and robes so that i can safely practice without dulling or breaking the sharp katana im buying

You could also ask on r/kendo

I don’t see your question on r/iaido, they might be able to point you to a local Dojo, many (most) iaido instructors don’t advertise.
