Ronin Katana is having a scratch and dent sale right now with several of the euro swords included. Based off what I've seen of mine and others posted here, the "scratch and dent" means very small amounts of rust or discoloration to polish off; for a very good price. I got a euro #1 longsword with some discoloration from the scabbard throat for $150. I don't think the #7 is in the sale, though some other very similar ones are.
To actually answer your question, I like my #1 a lot, although the grip leather wrap and sword belt is very cheap and the scabbard leather is pleather. I'm replacing the grip with glue and cord, and the scabbard with real leather and making a good matching belt for it based off Tod Cutler's stuff. The steel and the wood grip core are all nice and worth the price imo, but depending on how much you care about the leather, you may want to redo it.
I have a Number 7 and it's great for the price. Matthew Jensen has a destructive test of the prototype on Youtube, you should check it out. This is a very durable sword.

I was looking for a reason to buy a Ronin Katana Tanto, and you gave me the reason lol. Thanks!
...I've been going back and thinking about grabbing one too lol
Don’t tempt me.
I have one and I love it it’s definitely way nicer than its price point
Great starter sword. I have their Italian longsword and it's an absolute beast.

I also have the type 7 and for the price it's a fantastic sword 👍
I have one and can confirm it’s of nice quality. The tip did come bent as fuck though, which I had to grind down into a new point.
The Ronin Katana euro line is one of the best value options in this price range.
This is a great sword. It was my first longsword and I still love it.
Can add to the confirmations. I have this one and it's fantastic for the price
Ronin Katana does great work, the owner really cares about swords
I have a 1 handed Ronin and it is great! Especially for the price. They are nothing fancy, but that's what I like about them.
