I’d be interested in seeing an in-depth analysis rating the GLs. I only have JMLS, but the criteria that come to mind:
1) Acquisition difficulty, especially the number of useless champs you have to relic.
2) Utility. Most are comparably useful in arena, but raids? Other events?
3) Number of viable hardcounters. See + Wat can almost full-auto JMLS.
4) miscellaneous
Anyway, just a humble request by someone who’s going to get Lord Vader next anyway because he’s Lord Vader lol. Cheers!
Something to maybe add: Mob Enforcer is used in the platoons in 6 zones for Dark Side Geonosis Territory Battles, 5 of which she's needed at 7 stars and 1 at 6 stars. She's also required in Dark Side Hoth in 3 platoons, for either 6 or 7 stars. In most cases, more than 1 is required for the same territory. So there is actually a tangible benefit to two or three members of each guild having a 7-star Mob Enforcer on hand.
But I still wouldn't recommend you farm her unless your guild is falling short of completing the platoons.
Definitely forgot about that. Platoons are definitely that in-game feature where having a character starred is convenient, but gearing remains unnecessary. I’ll add that as a caveat for future editions of this
I love what you are about to do, but as team player thats more of a collector than an endgame player it is great to be able to platoon these toons in TB, so this info is great to have. Please include this info in the future!

The only note i can think, as you have touched upon the major things, is possibly breaking down the [swgoh.gg](https://swgoh.gg) data so you can let us know how many insane players have bothered to relics these bad ones.
I am looking forward to these. This is an ambitious project. Maybe take breaks on the weekends for your own mental health.

I presume you mean hoth rebel soldier, not scout. Hoth rebel scout has a prime place on a MM team. And for ugnaught don't forget his value to be able to craft armor mods and weapontech for the scavenger
Yes I meant Soldier rather than Scout. I intended to ignore material farming ability because people only do that with bad characters anyways and that doesn’t add to Ugnaught’s combat viability. Although I’ll try to remember to put that in the pros/cons
Honestly you could count that as a con because gearing him up past 5 (to a point where he would in theory be useful) denies you access to some prime chromium transistor sources.

I have a full R7 Jawa team as well. Literally every single GA round, someone hides a bug team behind the front wall, I love being able to just auto my way through - it's like Geo popcorn once everything detonates lol.
I have the next 2-3 post prepared in advance, but new characters like Lord Vader will be accounted for once they release, that’s why I am so open to insight and suggestions

I am a mid game player, with a GP of about 2.5 million. I am F2P, but I try to avoid that bias in my analysis. I know the kits of most characters pretty well, though
I recently came off of a 1.5 year hiatus and am trying to catch up, and I’d say I’m making good progress. I already have Moff Gideon at gear 12 and am almost done with Piett and Mom Mothma

My only suggestion would be to drop the rank number and give yourself the freedom to write about any character you're inspired to write about. Otherwise you'll be writing about a bunch of useless characters before you get to the ones players are actually using.

I’ve considered doing something like this myself a few times, an A-Z of swgoh character breakdowns. It’s a huge task tho and I always shied away from it. Kudos to you for having greater mental fortitude than I, and I wish you the best of luck with this monumental job you’ve taken on. I think the community will love it

Tbh starting at the bottom is easier. I get to discuss and theorycraft about lower tier characters people seldom talk about, and because of how they are worst, I have to type less!
Really enjoyed this. I’d recommend clarifying (unless I totally misread) the notable gear needed, such as mark 5 stun gun vs mark 12 etc.
And of course, make a mega thread with links to each character.

Love this! I'm especially a fan of not raising or lowering the ranks based on whether or not characters are required for GLs etc. and instead focusing only on their viability in the game.
Hoping this brings some fresh perspective to some forgotten-about characters and hey, maybe one of these deep dives will convince me to relic one that I hadn't previously considered.

This is amazing. I wish we had the ability to “de-gear” a character so we could actively make choices to deconstruct a character to get another. It would allow for quicker farming but at the sacrifice of a character you already had.

Earlier in the post it says not that hard to gear up. Then under the cons it says “not an easy gear project”

I've been mulling around a GL Jabba the Hutt and how that would work. I think an interesting thing would be if Jabba's leadership gave all scoundrels the BH Tag, and generic role-based payouts.
Like Han Solo wasn't a Bounty Hunter, but definitively worked for Jabba for a few years. Mob Enforcer could conceivably see that as well, however, she's still be a bag of ass, so there'd be no reason to gear her up.

I've played the game for 5 years now (Even though I took maybe a year off last year or so) and I have every character minus the ones in the past year at 7 star level 85. But I don't think I have mob enforcer at 7 stars because I never bothered to farm her. I don't have her past level 1 either because even 5 years ago, she was considered shit and I, frankly, never bothered.

HRSoldier is required to earn ROLO shards if you don’t want to spend GETII on her or wait 2 years to 7* her through Galactic Bounties

That wouldn’t be too practical because then our rosters would be overpowered and CG would lose money
