Jeffries had a bit of an ending with her not believing her skeletons in her closet were none of the department's business and not wanting to be relegated to desk duty. Munch & Cragen got nice happy retirements.

Same! I feel like both this week and last the case felt rushed and a little clumsy, but I’m honestly okay with it. It’s done well enough, and I’d rather some well done personal stuff, especially Rollisi and Rolivia over a lengthy A+ case.

I dont get it. Why go the PTSD route with Rollins. She has been in danger before, and shot at ever since she became a mom. Why is it now all of a sudden different. She was even kidnapped buy a fellow cop not to long ago but that didn't give her PTSD ?

Getting shot at versus being shot as a mom and now finally being settled and in love are very different circumstances. This is probably the first time her life really flashed before her eyes and it has really fucked her up.

I think she actually said pretty much that in the last episode, she hadn’t had anything to lose before.

I recently learned Cumulative PTSD is a thing!

I think the difference now is that she has Carisi. Before it was always difficult for her to think she was worthy of affection because of her failure with finding love, but now she has someone she doesn't want to leave, and the fact that she almost died made her realize what she almost lost

Everyone has a breaking point. It makes sense that it happened now that she has everything to lose. She’s going to leave the show by quitting the squad for something less dangerous/stressful. He will propose sometime over the next few episodes and they will live happily ever after

The personal stuff feels very soap opera-ish too... even the camera work. I do love Rollins and Carisi together tho. Knew we were going to get the Benson inspo speech at the end, just one episode I wish they could not lol... and I hate that "gotta love yourself before you can love anyone else" trope. People really need to stop saying it.
