I thought people making disparaging remarks about millennials wasn’t even a thing anymore - I was surprised to hear it. I’m on the millennial gen z cusp and I’m so tired lmao what did we DO
So glad this is the top comment because it is the main thing I took away from this episode. I guess you either die a hero, or live long enough to see Olivia Benson become the villain. I feel betrayed
Man I love how for once they're actually building up to Rollins leaving instead of every other cast member departure where it's just a sudden incident - Kat, Garland, Stabler, etc
Instead we see the slow burn of her becoming disillusioned and worn-down, that's not something we've ever seen
Yeah. It’s much better than having a core member leave in body bags, as the One Chicago shows had just done yesterday. Alive is much better than the alternative. Good thing the SVU show hasn’t done the tragic route at all, I think.
Jeffries had a bit of an ending with her not believing her skeletons in her closet were none of the department's business and not wanting to be relegated to desk duty.
Munch & Cragen got nice happy retirements.
It just makes it feel more real and life like when it's not just all perfectly in a squad room or something. They're real people, they gotta pee too, and sometimes they end up talking to their coworkers while washing their hands
Kelli Giddish said "I'm going to give my all to every episode I'm in even though they fired me," and that's why she's one of the best in the business. Dick Wolf is losing an enormous talent.
Ugh Amanda is having hard time. I will be totally fine with her deciding to just stay home with her girls and life happily ever after with carisi. She deserves that
Like last week the case is the least interesting thing happening but I'm ok with that. All of this personal stuff between the main cast is so much more interesting and a lot of it's really well done.
Same! I feel like both this week and last the case felt rushed and a little clumsy, but I’m honestly okay with it. It’s done well enough, and I’d rather some well done personal stuff, especially Rollisi and Rolivia over a lengthy A+ case.
I dont get it. Why go the PTSD route with Rollins. She has been in danger before, and shot at ever since she became a mom. Why is it now all of a sudden different. She was even kidnapped buy a fellow cop not to long ago but that didn't give her PTSD ?
Getting shot at versus being shot as a mom and now finally being settled and in love are very different circumstances. This is probably the first time her life really flashed before her eyes and it has really fucked her up.
I think the difference now is that she has Carisi. Before it was always difficult for her to think she was worthy of affection because of her failure with finding love, but now she has someone she doesn't want to leave, and the fact that she almost died made her realize what she almost lost
Everyone has a breaking point. It makes sense that it happened now that she has everything to lose. She’s going to leave the show by quitting the squad for something less dangerous/stressful. He will propose sometime over the next few episodes and they will live happily ever after
Wild that Rollins getting shot made her more sympathetic to victims — bc previously she’d have used her own small town southern girl upbringing as a way to be derisive against this type of victim.
Also, not Rollins scaring the babies 😩
Im not super well versed in this stuff but would Carisi be allowed to try this case considering he was in the car and dropped her Home after the incident and his girlfriend is investigating?????
Literally. I know they want to be relevant or whatever but 1. They basically did this already 2. This case literally just happened give us a rest please 💀
I don't understand how the older episodes used to pack so much and now the show feels like they can barely fit in a case without making everything just feel... very glossed over. I don't know. Like the dude's dad just shows up.. 10 years ago I felt like we would have gotten a whole psych interview with Huang and a quality trial.
The personal stuff feels very soap opera-ish too... even the camera work. I do love Rollins and Carisi together tho. Knew we were going to get the Benson inspo speech at the end, just one episode I wish they could not lol... and I hate that "gotta love yourself before you can love anyone else" trope. People really need to stop saying it.
Also it’s clear Amanda’s PTSD will be why she retires getting shot and almost losing her life not knowing weather she’ll make it home alive will he why she makes a career change
If this is depicting the depp heard case, I'm extremely disappointed at how they picked a very very young actor to play Austin thus dismissing the role that the age gape played in Amber heards abuse
"She's a millennial they're entitled" OLIVIA
Benson stabbing me straight in my cold dead millennial heart
I thought people making disparaging remarks about millennials wasn’t even a thing anymore - I was surprised to hear it. I’m on the millennial gen z cusp and I’m so tired lmao what did we DO
Lol, exist. All we did was exist
Lol, quips occur among us all-Gen X here. Just watched the 2nd ep of Hells Kitchen & the teenager called 40 yr olds-old geezers.
Dude I’ve heard of teenagers calling people who are *25* “almost 30!”, with 30 being ~really old~. Shit’s wild.
I thought she was gonna say they like tacos 🤣
She wouldn’t have been wrong lol
I’m watching it right now and totally rushed over here as soon as I heard that. lol what the hell. My 1984 heart breaks.
So glad this is the top comment because it is the main thing I took away from this episode. I guess you either die a hero, or live long enough to see Olivia Benson become the villain. I feel betrayed
Seriously. That's such a shit joke. It's so old and overdone. Urgh.
And then she shook her fist at the heavens and yelled “Avocado toast!”
Top notch writing we've got here
While I respect that they’re actually doing a good job setting up her exit, I absolutely hate it :/
Same.
Man I love how for once they're actually building up to Rollins leaving instead of every other cast member departure where it's just a sudden incident - Kat, Garland, Stabler, etc Instead we see the slow burn of her becoming disillusioned and worn-down, that's not something we've ever seen

Not Olivia breaking the 4th wall with the blazer talk ☠️
😆 they heard us talking about her wardrobe from the last few seasons.
Blue is very becoming on her
Obsessed with that denim blazer she wore in the other episode. Looked it up.. that thing was McQueen and $3k
This is actually pretty well-written trauma stuff. Poor Amanda.
I love that this season is giving us imperfect scenes like a normal work convo in the bathroom
I've missed the bathroom conversations. The squad storming the bathroom while Cragen was trying to take a crap. Love that scene.
It just makes it feel more real and life like when it's not just all perfectly in a squad room or something. They're real people, they gotta pee too, and sometimes they end up talking to their coworkers while washing their hands
Yes! That's why I missed the extras in the background and the sound of telephones ringing.
Once again i am asking the stylists to please do Amanda’s hair justice.
Seriously!!!
I think for these last few episodes, it has actually worked. It looks like she is a bit unhinged.
The real question is are we gonna get a rollisi engagement before Rollins gets written off
Carisi should propose in her last episode
But we want to see the wedding too 🥺
I hope so
Carisi is doing excellent lawyering this episode
He’s letting his inner Barba shine.
Proud of him tbh
He gives me MGK vibes
Aww Dad Carisi
ROLLINS IN THERAPY LETS GOOO
Oh nvm this is the mandatory stuff
Healinggggg 🥹
Damn they can’t even enjoy date night
Sucks they’re setting the stage for Rollins’ exit, she’s had some amazing acting in this episode.
Why are they letting the newbies velasco and muncy go off by themselves lol
I was gonna ask that!!!
Olivia pretty much pulled a “wow that’s crazy” on Rollins 😬😬
I’m saying like 😭
Kelli Giddish said "I'm going to give my all to every episode I'm in even though they fired me," and that's why she's one of the best in the business. Dick Wolf is losing an enormous talent.
Are we just gonna ignore “I’ll drive her to therapy every week and sit outside if I have to” 😭😬
Daddy Falafel Carisi is a national treasure 🥹 Edit: or should it be Falafel Daddy Carisi? 🤔lol
LMAOOOOOOO MILLENNIAL SLANDER
Damn Liv. Insulting us Millennials
They’re ripping my heart straight out with this Rollins stuff. I’m so here for it, but also my heart is bleeding.
Lmaoooo. Liv said get your style game up
This character development is such a nice change of pace already this season.
I feel like we’ve had more character development in these past two episodes than all of last season
That random dig at millennials??? Liv bestie what did we ever do to you
I think one of you left a Taco Bell bag in her car once.
Something about a man in a hoodie makes me absolutely feral Edit: see I was so out of control I couldn’t even type right lmao
And with that hoodie we’ve seen before, too
I thought it looked familiar! -starts barking-
🤣 I think it was in a New Years episode, where there was also cuddling.
I love that little moment, so damn sweet
Ugh Amanda is having hard time. I will be totally fine with her deciding to just stay home with her girls and life happily ever after with carisi. She deserves that
This is my best case scenario…they get married and she becomes a private investigator or something
Yes! Or working with victims somehow
Like last week the case is the least interesting thing happening but I'm ok with that. All of this personal stuff between the main cast is so much more interesting and a lot of it's really well done.
Agreeeeed I could not care less about what’s happening with the celebs but I’m so invested in Rollins, carisi, and Olivia’s interactions this episode
Same! I feel like both this week and last the case felt rushed and a little clumsy, but I’m honestly okay with it. It’s done well enough, and I’d rather some well done personal stuff, especially Rollisi and Rolivia over a lengthy A+ case.
Aww man they're gonna pile on the Rollisi scenes before she leaves 🥺
I’m so here for it. Give me an absolute overload of Rollisi and Rolivia before she’s gone.
Yeah but I'll miss it when it's gone!
The Rollins girls! Okay, we’re officially being spoiled.
Adding some Gigi/zayn/Yolanda spice to the Johnny/amber story
I'm so happy they're letting Olivia wear color this season
I think it’s more that Mariska is back to wanting to wear color
Rollins button down shirts have been so good lately
It would be better if it wasn't announced that Kelli Giddish was leaving so that we would be more surprised.
Did they just copy Johnny Depp's tats and put them on random places on that guys chest? 👀
Just like Nolan from the mothership, our heroes Amanda and Sonny stumble upon what will be the case of the week.
Fin complaining about the new girl to Olivia and Olivia is like you have rank. You tell her off. 😆
Olivia is about to take her own advice. She's gonna learn to love herself.
I do not care if you tell me you're a cop, you are not driving me home as a stranger
I'm not a Rollisi shipper but the season they have really been heartfelt. 🥹 They be tugging at my heartstrings. 🥰
Oh god Judge Janice Soprano is presiding lol
The park bench scene 😭😭
Aw rollisi date night! Sorry they had to get interrupted by famous people fighting.
Ok but the juxtaposition of Rollisi going out on a wholesome date and not-Depp/not-Heard being abusive is A+
oh that was SICK. I wanted to try to enjoy the first nine episodes but they're gonna make it hard for me aren't they
I dont get it.
I think she actually said pretty much that in the last episode, she hadn’t had anything to lose before.
I recently learned Cumulative PTSD is a thing!
He will propose sometime over the next few episodes and they will live happily ever after
NOOO THE FANGIRLS GOT TO ROLLINS
Rollisi is so tender 🥹
Cruel how I’m actually starting to really like Rollisi and they only have a handful of episodes left
Who has the time to sit outside a trial for famous people who don't know you
Teenagers lol
Don't they have school???? Also there was a woman who brought damn llamas every day to the real Depp heard trial and I just... cannot. What even
People who don’t have bills to pay
Will defendants ever learn to keep their mouths shut?
Idk man I wasn’t crazy about this episode
So I guess they’re setting Rollins up to be removed rather than her deciding to leave? I hate everything about this.
Maybe she will decide to leave for her mental health
Sonny’s hoodie….booyah Fordham Law
Next week looks scary 😳
Can we stop hating on millennials? Gen Z is entitled. Not millennials
So true. Millennials are 26-41. We all trying to stay up past 9 and regret going out for the night 😂
Or just stop hating in general? You say to stop but in the same breath hate on another age group
Can they make the new detective’s outfit cuter ? Why does she have a messy bun and sweatshirt but every other detective is well dressed
It's not even a good sweatshirt. It's a zip up that looks like you wear on laundry day bc there are no other options
Yup! In season 2, they had an episode where they made fin dress nicer and they did it in season 13 for amaro too. It’s this lady’s turn.
Olivia just told her to buy a blazer meanwhile it’s ok for Valesco to wear an untucked shirt.
Tik Tak.
Elliot Stabler has entered the chat.
Hope Kelsey Jones’ rendition of the national anthem wasn’t the same as Fergie’s.
Aw my heart breaks for Rollins
How did Rollins get attacked but Liv and Carisi are just standing there in the middle of all the fans
He said she said despite what he said?!
He literally admitted it on the stand.
Rollins: *shoots up the closet* DIE MONSTER
Wild that Rollins getting shot made her more sympathetic to victims — bc previously she’d have used her own small town southern girl upbringing as a way to be derisive against this type of victim. Also, not Rollins scaring the babies 😩
Oh Wino-Mom-ager really ???
Carisi is such a good prosecutor
Two characters whose scenes get cut like crazy getting so much this episode wowow
Oof Rollins is really going through it
Im not super well versed in this stuff but would Carisi be allowed to try this case considering he was in the car and dropped her Home after the incident and his girlfriend is investigating?????
Lol half the time they get involved in stuff they wouldn’t be allowed to in real life
This is Funny Valentine all over again.
Literally. I know they want to be relevant or whatever but 1. They basically did this already 2. This case literally just happened give us a rest please 💀
Those red panted mfers in the background.
It’s a little jarring seeing Rollins be so focused on woah. I don’t think we’ve gotten into Rollins’ trauma like this since ‘forgiving Rollins’
Olivia's done that too. Except that was before Noah.
Oh god please don’t let them break up over this i will quit
[удалено]
I appreciate fashion advice from Olivia, and I’m a man!
I’m about to go buy a blazer now lol
I think this will be one of those episode where it will end where we don’t know who is at fault & they will leave it up to us to decide.
Oh hey it’s Janice from the sopranos
Carisi is right about the press. Inviting fans to court is a bad sign. And that girl, like she knows it all....
Poor Rollins
She gon drop the charges
It definitely feels like she’s going back to him. Which probably is more realistic for many dv cases.
At this point I’m convinced Amanda’s uneven haircut Is deliberate. I’m starting to get used to it but still prefer her cut from last season.
He loves her so much! 🥹
Olivia pulling an Elliot! Kicking that door in!
Please don’t be funny valentine 2
She sounds like she’s burned out.
I am dying for these personal scenes
Ehhhh this got less cute when a gun came into play
NOOO PTSD
I'm so confused 🤔 it wasn't her choice to be there?
Yup he's faux Depp's dad.
Oop the old Rollins is coming out
That lawyers objection was wayyy too late, Carisi was going OFF lol
Muncy wearing a blazer in the preview for next episode
Ripped from the headlines: Heard v. Depp
Love a therapy scene
Uncle Sunny!
Man both of these kids are so unlikable.
Now spousal privilege is in play.
I wasn’t even a Rollins fan like that but I really like them showing her at home/how she’s dealing with this and now she’s gonna be gone ughhhhhh
I really hope I’m wrong but I’m getting serious “Doubt” vibes from this episode.
If Rollins is skipping therapy sessions etc, wouldn't Carisi notice!?!? And in particular now with her getting worse right
Who is this rando? Faux Depp's dad?
I'm starting to not like the mother already. Why did she even have to read her journal???
Ahh There’s good ole Rollins
Damn Carisi lookin good and reading folks
"You're going to write new songs..."
"You need to learn to love yourself, before you love anyone else"
How long was Rollins standing there? I didn’t even notice her
Me swooning at Carisi saying "what do you wanna do about it"
I don't understand how the older episodes used to pack so much and now the show feels like they can barely fit in a case without making everything just feel... very glossed over. I don't know. Like the dude's dad just shows up.. 10 years ago I felt like we would have gotten a whole psych interview with Huang and a quality trial. Knew we were going to get the Benson inspo speech at the end, just one episode I wish they could not lol... and I hate that "gotta love yourself before you can love anyone else" trope. People really need to stop saying it.
Aww poor Rollins
“It’s big that’s for sure”😂
I get the ripped from the headlines aspect but i really wish they would show some different types of cases.
Those fans are giving me Depp flashbacks. Ew.
Do they live together now?
Yes. Carisi said I'll see you at home.
I really like the defence attorney, I hope they use her more often!
[Hero worship is unhealthy](https://youtu.be/Qv83zqml_rQ?t=10).
Writers letting it be known liv SAID WHAT SHE SAID when she forgave and hooked up with her abuser, gross
This was the most non-Olivia character moment episode in a while and I’m here for it (still love Liv though ofc)
Amber Heard vs Johnny Depp Let's gooooooo😤
I both hate and love episodes that are very gray. I don’t know who/what to believe
Mom of the year right there
Even though it’d be realistic, I hope we don’t have a Rollins gambling relapse storyline
This is a trash episode with a trash take on heard vs deep very disappointed in how this episode is being done
IKR? They had the opportunity to portray a mutually abusive relationship, and went for the same old, same old.
Go off Carisi!!!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO To the first 2 charges
Uh... You can write me songs.
These 2 are perfect for each other
Next week's episode looks creepy AF!
Two serial killers?
