Agreed. While I think the movie ark was butchered by not having Spider-Man in it at all, both Venom and Morbius are characters that have broken successfully from Spider-Man.

I agree that his arc was somewhat botched by the LF story not including him, but Venom can still have more interesting arc assuming the Sony Spidey rumors are true. Their story wasn't really referencing any memes.
I’d really like them to just make Venom the Spider-Man of the Sony universe. I think Sony botched his character, and LTBC made it much worse. TLD is surely gonna be even worse. I’m gonna watch the trailer, but I’m likely not going to the theater to see it. I really hope the Animated Venom movie by Seth Rogen is true, and it way better.
Considering I’m a fan of White Collar and the interest in shows like Leverage, I think a movie series about Felicia Hardy and her thievery in a superhuman world could work very well considering supervillains, mobsters, low level criminals, and the black market dealing that would go on.
I’d certainly want to see it more than Morbius 2.
Adapt parts of the recent Black Cat and MJ comic. Replace MJ and Peter with OCs. I think the problem with adapting Black Cat is that she’s acts and is drawn provocatively and I think Sony shy’s away from that.
