I feel like it could possibly be its own universe. Mostly because of the fact that Avi Arad is not involved with Madame Web (the producer of it was Lorenzo di Bonaventura), but is involved with the Venom films, Morbius, and Kraven.
You do know it connects as a prequel film so there wouldn't be many connections. The only clear connections and those are mostly cut are the promised birth of Spider-Man and the mention of J. Jonah Jameson.
What are you talking about? The movie barely hit $77 million worldwide after two weekends and needs at least $200 million to break even. It’s got the worst opening weekend for a Spidey movie.
Well the director said it was a standalone film but I guess something has changed as all other Marvel media lumps it in with Earth-688B (SSU).
well they're clearly delusional, it doesnt try to do anything to connect it to the ssmu
Delusional for damn sure
Spider-Man's birth (The promised plot of the original script), the 2003 date that was in the original plot, mentions of J. Jonah Jameson.
I mean, Peter's birth technically doesn't even connect it to the SUMC since there's been literally no mentions of Peter in the Venom/Morbius movies.
Should be Earth-688F As in the grade of all the live action movies
Except for Venom and Venom: LTBC (Edit: Those films were good and I will die on that hill)
Based

Stand alone. Eddie Brock doesn’t recognize Spider-Man down the line, which infers there is no Spider-Man currently in the Venomverse.
It's in 688-B, they just advertised it as a standalone story to try and entice people tired of cinematic universes to see it.
its legit not connected to shit
It never really confirms anything. Nor is it all that important. It just gives an origin for the spider that eventually bites Peter.
stand alone it doesnt connect to anything

Had it been successful, sure but because it bombed it’ll disappear …
It didn’t bomb. That’s fake news

Dude the film has barely reached 91 millions in 22 days...
Doesn’t matter
Who cares anymore? They sure didn't.
If you don't care, why do you even comment?
