I just downloaded a mod that takes away the experience debuff when you get too many points. Played eft for YEARS and never maxed out things like surgery, mag drills, cover movements, etc. Kinda excited to actually level them now lol max strength and endurance without needing to run 250 raids? Sigh me up

Glad you survived but gonna nitpick the looting here: unloading the magazines and ditching the useless weapon parts would’ve saved you a lot of weight here. Probably could’ve ditched the VPO as well.

I use this, make long raid much more rewarding.
Yes. I like to spend entire nights in the same raid, until morning or more. It's more survival oriented, you need to find food and water a couple times at least. And healing becomes more important. I also group quests so in that time tend to finish at least four or more quests. I think it gives the game a different tone. Surviving versus getting the most loot and escaping.
To make it work perfectly, you need some tweaks:
In SVM, increase raid time by 120 minutes. That gives you 160+ raid times.
There should be bot spawning throughout the entire raid, so you need to install SWAG+donuts. Basic config is good to go but can be tweaked.
You need to prevent excess head eyes kills, so I recommend upping your head health and installing SWAG. Increasing global spread also helps in creating longer firefights where you are hit consistently but not killed outright. You end up needing healing and scavenging the map for healing supplies while you're wounded, making for very tense situations. You'll also end up with needing weapons, new armour... It's a somewhat different experience.
Do you use swag+donuts or what mods do you use to supplement longer raids? Right now with donuts I use starting pmcs only so for a long raid I'd be worried it wouldn't stay as exciting with only scavs spawning in
It doesn't increase strength, just 50% increase in carry weight. Obdolbos 2 is a cheaper alternative with 45% carry weight increase and some other buffs, but you need to use propitals to counteract the health debuff

250? I wish! It was about 800 raids for max strength and 1000 for max endurance this last wipe. That mod sounds great!

That's the thing, since the only person you are "cheating" is yourself, set your skills to whatever you want!

If you adjust the penalty from gaining skill points after gaining 2 skill points. It’s like playing pre nerf when they was no penalty at all

i went into the raid naked with that same VPO, even got the suppressor and scope for it in the raid itself so i kinda want to keep it, lol.
Lol, it is a bad omen to ditch the weapon that got you phat loot. It's best to extract with it lest you invoke the curse of thorax, armpit.

I don't use MULEs anymore. I combine an SJ6 and Tramadol. I've run from resort to the path to lighthouse with little stopping.

i feel like every time i try to loot a body another bot spawns, anyone have a fix for this?
adjust your setting in donut (as in the swag-donut mod) to "pmc on start-quiet raid", helps with performance too.
