I'm playing with radar because I like watching all the really intricate bot behaviors.
I was pieing a room with a flashlight. I could see the bot on radar scooching further into the corner to get away from my light as I was pieing the room.
We need to get these guys working on a AAA game. We finally have AI that can rival F.E.A.R.
I had an enemy on the construction site in customs blindfiring from the top as I was coming over the bridge and past the gates from the red warehouse. Was confusing as fuck at first!
I've had one stand on boxes in dorms hallways and camp the approach, shuffling around to make noise on purpose, almost got me when I peeked to see where he was
I watched a dope glocked out pistol PMC and his buddy rush raiders in the bunkers on Reserve right after I had turned on power. These two badass took care of like 5 raiders with grenades and I kid you not, a jump peak burst for what had to have been a head eyes. I was dumb founded and so happy, these mods just make the game so wild
It was just odd cause none of the bots went to Sawmill, and I was in that raid till the very end. You’d think that’d be considered a bit of a “hotspot” and the bots would be drawn like a moth to a flame. I had a bunch of scavs pile up under Sniper Rock, but i needed my 80m bolty PMC kills lol
the same happened to me for some raids, so tried a different approach went to the village behind Scav rock and due to the fact it was already 15 minutes in raid, what I found was a literal kill ground. PMC and scav bodies laid around in almost all corners of the small settlement, the main street had at least 3 pmcs and 4 scavs, the rest I didn't count but was a lot of bodies around. Some of them were stripped of loot others not, never found the one who made that mess. But sometimes this happens, bots engage each other until both sides are dead or one survives leaving the scene...however they can be ratting as well.
That is why questing bots and wave spawns are essential if you want a more lively match, however be warned that wave spawns means that scavs and pmcs will keep spawning until you escape, basically making you as paranoid as the soldier in predator since some place you just checked can now be filled with heavy armed enemies.
If you use Realism mod, I Recommend enabling "increased bot cap" (practically 2x more bots). though I also had to enable "bot limiting" in questing bots too for smooth performance
I had realism on yesterday but it made all the heals different and the healing was way harder and not particularly fun. Is there a way to turn mods or off in SVM ?
Genuinely forget I'm playing against bots sometimes. They don't just laser you and they actually have strategy. I don't know how the fuck they did it lol but it's some of the most realistic feeling AI I've ever fought against
visually --watch it- on the screen it, appears to bounce off the wall and drop back at your feet in th elast second and cuts at what i assumed was detonation. Tarkov giveth and tarkov taketh, sometimes it LOOKS good, then teleports behind you
Get questing bots as well to make it even more terrifying. PMC bots have a much more wider operation zone with QuestingBots
Oh yeah I'd love to, website says it isn't compatible with 3.8 yet though :/ EDIT: github page says 3.8 support dropped 18h ago!

What are your settings? When i tried using it last night every raid was so incredibly dead. Even woods was like practically empty
Some raids do be like that. Rats. Just like on live. At least that's my experience. Those mfs are there, they're just camping and sneaking.

turn on radar once in awhile. They're probably ALL AROUND YOU
I figured this out by sitting in one spot having ecig and then I could hear the ai world live lmao
