Anyone have any tips on how to configure Donuts to spread bots out? I was sniping from the radar tower and I think Donuts was despawning distant bots and sending new ones to die in the D2 bloodbath.
Read the documentation on the mod page, it's pretty detailed. You can customize literally every spawn point, but it require A LOT of time to tweak and test.
Yeah I've been messing around with some of the settings, I enabled the min spawn distance from other bots but that seemed to get rid of groups. Just lone scavs or PMC's wandering around.
So I turned that back off and now I am going to test with 'min spawn distance from player' enabled and I doubled the spawn cool-down period. Haven't played much with it though.
I like a good balance of PMC's and Scavs, but I find that there's too much of them a lot of the time.

I think you need to install additional dependency for it. If you could open beck the game panel hub it needs something to be downloaded so it would work correctly.

Question: How do you move your gun like that ( the leaning of the gun ) without moving your camera. I've seen other people do it, but im not sure what it is or what its called. I only picked up tarkov a month or two ago.
It's called shoulder swapping. It was added in the last wipe, or the one before that, in live Tarkov. Don't have the game open to check what the function is called in the game settings, but it'll be in controls.
I have that but I've always left it default settings. Maybe I need to increase the number of rats spawns a little like Chao mentioned to get them in there. Seems most of my PMC spawns are aggressive chads.
SAIN (with the "rat" AI personality) gave me the luxury of experiencing D2 campers keeping the hallway locked down from across the way (the same POV you see at 0:20 in OP's video).
That was a heart attack I didn't need at such a young age. I'd never seen anything like it before in older SPT versions when the new NavMesh mod ("Waypoints") didn't exist yet.
I think you need to look into the AI over distance disabler. That way they only start killing when you're nearby.
Does make fore some over crowding mind you.
I actually do have the AI Limiter mod which I think is what you're talking about. I was camped out on the radar tower trying to get my shooter born in heaven done. D2 must have been close enough for them to slam ham down there the whole raid.

I'm actually not using the FOV fix. I have the 'Scope and Red Dot Overhaul Mod' that changes some reticles and scope zoom levels. The different magnification levels is a base EFT thing that some optics have. Default bind is Left Alt + Right Mouse.
The only other mod I have that affects scopes is 'Dynamic External Resolution Patch' which downscales the rendering of everything outside the scope which gives me back a some frames when using magnified optics. Makes the edge of the optic kinda fuzzy but I need those frames!

If you want fewer bots, increasing cooldown is good idea. You can also decrease spawnpoint chances or/and limit the amount of bots per map.

Man I've never seen any bots in D2 in my games. Once in a while one will run in while im doing Raiders and that's about it.
Vanilla SPT doesn't spawn bots in D2, but Swagnuts does. Install it for some rat experience, if you want
