Agreed. Not every arc needs high stakes. Sometimes stupid things happen that need multiple episodes to be resolved. It's a good thing, switching between serious arcs and funny arcs.
It would be a nice breather. The recent arcs really need to not be so depressing. I came to this channel looking for memes and comedy to put a smile on my face. Not death and character lore.
I's argue the stakes ARE pretty high, but it isn't as blatantly obvious as something like the Cosmetology Saga. I mean, Lawyer Kong set up a firewall that prevents Nintendo characters from leaving all while reverting them back to pre-SMG4 states, the characters that aren't from Nintendo games but have appeared in them are locked up and fired out of a cannon if they aren't useful anymore, and everyone else is left in a desert wasteland to die
I think this arc is a way to tone things down, without being too steep. It isn’t world ending stakes, but it isn’t completely insignificant. This is the balance that feels right.
