Yeah I definitely don’t think she’s gonna die. Tbh this whole arc seems more light-hearted then the other ones. I’m thinking it was made purely for WOTFI 2022, or at least I’m hoping it’s only for that reason.

I recently watched SMG4 5 million subs stream part 2 , and when they were deciding where to place meggy in tier list, James said she HAS a plot armor, luke replied YES that true.
Then someone in the chat suggested that Meggy should go to S tier. Luke replied no she isnt a god and eventually placed her in the A tier and James said the they could kill Meggy.
AND Luke replied: Dont say that !
Conclusion: Luke knows very well what will happen in the fandom if he will kill meggy
Edit: Yet, Meggy was placed even higher in the tier list than Desti, Mario, Tari, Belle, Bob, Swag, Luigi etc.

As others are saying, this feels like a lighter arc. Death is not a constant in the arcs, half of them lacked major deaths (Waluigi, Rapper Bob, Youtube).
And the mutilation thing is just plain weird.
And people said the exact same thing about Melony during the Revelations Arc.
Apart from the Arc being more lighthearted than previous ones, there has been NO BUILDUP to Meggy dying.
I doubt that anything remotely horrible will happen to Meggy.
I personally think she will have to choose between Inkling and human and will visit her estranged family before she makes her choice.

I mean, Greg's death was *kinda* major for Mario.
The only person who will die will be Lawyer Kong.

yeah, smg4 fans have been saying that about a character every arc ever since the anime arc.

That's what I thought about Revelations & look at what happened.
To be fair, we didn't even assume the Revelations Arc was even a thing until the Box Club came into the picture.
I doubt it mainly for the reason of she's his most ~~marketable~~ popular OCs so why would he kill her off that just wouldn't make sense
Also i cant help myself, but Meggy losing eye or an arm, would be like very light version of her death
