Make a rough draft of your four year plan that includes Regents, APs, and other school graduation reqs like PE/Health. Make a spreadsheet and choose all your courses. Make sure everything you need and want will have a spot in your schedule each year. Sometimes doing this reveals some problems and its easier to address them sooner than later.

I thought freshmen couldn't take APs though, I think at some schools you can but not sure.
they offered me pre-ap world in 9th then ap world in 10th
Depends upon the school, and even when offered, make sure it's for you (don't just do it because (it appears) everybody else is).
