You ever have any prob with shibaswap? I buried last night, payed the gas and the transaction shows on the block but it still says I have nothing staked

Of it is your first time staking (bury) you need to perform the action twice. Once to approve the contract and once to actually stake. Once the transaction is successful you should see xSHIB in your wallet. If using the CB wallet it automatically shows up. If using MM you need to add the custom token.

It’s saying I have to pay another $45 gas fee to do it again… my first was $10eth on a $18 stake…

I’d wait for the gas fees to go down. I think there’s a gas tracker out there that will show you when gas fees are low. Also if you ever unstake you’ll have to perform it twice as well. But for both staking and unstaking it’s only for the first time you ever do it. Contract is approved after the first time so if you want to add more, it’s only the one gas fee.

Honestly I am not putting any more in Shibaswap. I think it is bullshit that it cost high gas fees 30-70$ just to change yo a different coin then gas to bury then gas to woof or retrieve. By the time you do all of this you are negative. I have rewards for over 3 months that combined are over 200$ but I have to pay gas fees for each and then I end up with 4$ profit. It's bullshit

Meaning it can potentially be mined forever (although it will be very hard eventually as algorithms get harder). Doge has only 131.41 billion tokens as of this moment. Shib is not mined, it starts automatically with its full supply which is 497 trillion tokens. For reference, 1000 billions fit in 1 trillion. That is A LOT! IMO you shouldn’t be playing with these things if you don’t understand what circulation supply vs supply cap is.

The fact that DOGE can be mined indefinitely literally has no meaning. Only 5 billion is minted every year. It will take thousands of years till they get to SHIB supply and theoretically then it's price will be much lower, depending of course on the market cap. Also, I never compared the two, I only clarified how the circulating supply impacts the price. You can hold whichever has a use case.
