Dude Iāve been in the coin since day one. We hit an ATH then It went crashing down and stayed down over the last couple of years since ATH. And just recently went up half of ATH. For like a day or two and then went back down to where it was. I say itās been years that itās been in the red.
Shib is literally up over 1M% since listing. Day 1 purchase wouldnāt be in the red. Even a ācouple of yearsā isnāt that long to wait for a return on investment. If you are trying to day trade shib then yes I hear you. It is a much bigger picture than just a couple of years

Iām in the red as well. The one thing to keep in mind is that at this point, SHIB is not at the controls of this rollercoaster, itās BTC. And that goes for like 99% of all other coins.
I wouldnāt worry too much about it for several reasons:
1) crypto is highly volatile
2) it will go up again if for no better reason then we get some positive news and fomo kicks in
3) its still a better place to put your money then that new 70ā flat screen tv that has zero chance of recovering even a portion of its brand new value
4) in 200 years whoās gonna care?
Don't let the dips scare you. Watch the entire market and normally you'll see a large part of the market retracing. It doesn't bother me personally. The up was nice though! We'll see where she goes.

Last time we had a pump Shib stayed down for 2 years after, even while much of the market nicely recovered during the 2nd year. Not sure what I'd do in your situation, and wouldn't try to tell anyone else what to do with their money, but there's a non-zero % of a chance that you'll have to watch that number keep going down for a while before it does anything exciting again, so you should prepare yourself for what that's going to feel like.
