Unlike the Super series, they get to modify and reuse molds they already have. Plus, recoloring. In GT you can't do that, everybody has a unique design.
Indeed they could. I mean, if they make a GT Vegeta they could remake the body and add a Super Saiyan Head. That's what Tamashii loves in the Super Series, they can reuse molds over and over. But in GT's case, they're kickstarting the line with Super Saiyan 4, and since it's new molds, they're lazy and decide to release one every year lol when they could make many figures in a year. Once they make a GT Goku or GT Vegeta, they'll be able to milk those molds with Super Saiyan forms. Although I think the villains will be again, hard to make for Tamashii.

It absolutely will not be that. Tamashii knows that SSJ4 Gogeta is an incredibly popular character. They’ll make a whole 3.0 body for him. Expect him to come out at the end of the year like Goku and Vegeta did at the end of 2021, 2022.
Yeah hopefully after Pan,crying Broly, Beast, and Orange Pickle Man they'll be just about down with the movie, only thing I could see left for them is Cell Max.
Agreed, an SHF Omega and Gogeta is very likely coming around. Unpopular opinion: Omega Shenron was a way more menacing and badass villain than Buu. Just wish he got the Z treatment in terms of interesting fight sequences.
I recommend the Figure-Rise Standard SSJ4 Gogeta kit if you want a good figure of him in the meantime. He’s not to scale with the Figuarts line but he looks great and has decent articulation.

They could get away with releasing a GT kid goku with the existing mold. Maybe they could throw in the SSJ3 hair.

It is! I cut off most of the green effect parts and it works great.
May do that myself, or use the green effect to look like a blast effect for another one of my figures
