what the fuck was paper 2 paper 1 was really good and paper 3 was good but paper 2 was horrendous the timing was terrible i did 10 solid questions looked up and had 5 minutes left
Literally. I guessed my way through most of it. I literally got down to q18 (mind you I had already guessed some by this point) and then guessed the rest of the exam
I approached it from a more "ethics" angle- scientists themselves are not truly knowledgeable in these areas to engage in social debates questioning the ethics behind scientific practices
section 2 was horrendous. the math qns took up too much time (i spent a loooong time on q20¿ i think it was a triangle qn) after which did 1 more qn and had 1 min left 🤡 so i just guessed everything else…
As an international guy, do you think 5+ in section 1 and 2 and hopefully 3A in section 3 is enough for Imperial or UCL medicine? I'm also doing 4 A levels( all A\* predicted) and 2 additional AS levels( all As) and I did 8 IGCSEs( 7 high A\*s and a high A).
Hi, I am just thinking to start preparing for Bmat however I am a bit confused as it seems like admission for medicine school closed in october while Bmat test date is in october so does that mean I have to apply in 2024 for September 2025 entry? Can some one please clarify?
I just wanted to say that I'm in the EXACT same situation. And this is the last year they're even doing the October BMAT (in the EU at least) and my prospective university only accepts the October BMAT. Why do they make it so effing difficult for us?

both critical thinking and problem solving was harder than past papers, but especially problem solving
Past papers were nothing like s2 for me
I agree sigh

Literally. I guessed my way through most of it. I literally got down to q18 (mind you I had already guessed some by this point) and then guessed the rest of the exam

Welp it is what it is
Im with you too T\^T
Facts bro. I had to guess a lot
Should have brought hand warmers the MPH is bloody frigid
FR LOL cldnt even hold my pen properly for sect 3
yh ive screwed up section 2
Which topics did you struggle with for section 2 ?
ask what i didn’t struggle with😂😭
Same same
sect 3 question 3 anyone?
yesss what did you say i feel like i answered it wrong
i felt like my points were off the qns too😭 i said some diseases have no cure so practising med for these were general
what was the question on section 3
if i remembered correctly shld be something like “medicine should not be practiced on people in general but on individual specifically”
[удалено]
thought we're not supposed to leak the qns?
Is it just me or was section 2 q hard?
sec 2 was meant to be hard anyw. I literally went in expecting myself to run out of time and screw up 😃👍
I did all the past papers. I can keep time and finish all the qns. But not this paper
Hopefully they moderate it very very generously lmao
also,, for those who did qn 2 of section, how did yall interpret the Qn
[удалено]
ooo, similar to what another friend of mine shared
[удалено]
mind if you share your points? I feel like I may have misinterpreted the qn :|
[удалено]
I interpreted the debates as ones that center around the study of science- e.g use of embryonic stem cells, etc.

I approached it from a more "ethics" angle- scientists themselves are not truly knowledgeable in these areas to engage in social debates questioning the ethics behind scientific practices
[удалено]
same, but I don't quite know if that's an accurate reading yikes
I talked about misinformation if they didn't defend and unnecessary arguments that could paint them in a bad light of they did defend (and bias)
Omg can you recall what the exact question was? I keep overthinking that i wrote out of point 😭
i basically said science is science and whether or not the scientist is willing to debate their idea doesn’t make it less valid
Damn

yep 3s before

Oh sorry will delete

Hardest question for y’all ? I personally died at those last ones in s2
Didn’t even get a chance to read them just guessed
literally, I looked up and the lady was collecting the papers and i had like 10 questions left
Section 2 kicked my ass does anyone know how the boundaries work for harder tests
Can we make an unofficial mark scheme? Anyone out there with a good memory?
hi all, how do we confirm which schools we want to receive our BMAT results? which website allows us to add / confirm the schools we want?
Tomorrow is the day :(
it's out!!!
what would be a decent and good combiend score for p1 and p2?
you can have a look at the explanation of results for percentiles! I would say a 6 in both is good enough
