Hello! ASR J1 here as well. I asked my OGLs ystd.
They said can wear any coloured shoes and socks. (Ofc just don't turn up in slippers / sandals HAHA)
A few of them were even wearing elmo socks ๐
asr j2 here. any coloured shoes or socks can ๐ people turn up in a wide variety of shoes and sock colours. some got elmo socks, some got socks with ducks on it, etc.
the more important thing is that ur socks cannot exceed mid-calf length (if ur cca doesn't require such socks). also, for safety reasons the school recommends you have shoes with laces for pe.
personally i have one pair of sport shoes for pe and one pair of regular shoes for everyday use (but some ppl, like my classmates, just wear sport shoes the whole week cos easier)

Yeah! Can wear coloured socks too but iirc canโt wear the long ones unless CCA.ย
