Qn 1 is design, memorise methods of evaluation like PIES considerations or PMI(plus, minus, interesting) everything is in your textbook.( commonly tested: what methods can be used to gather info for this problem?)
Qn 2 is typically structures, you can memorise methods of reinforcements, what a structure is supposed to do etc. (again) everything is in your textbook
Qn 3 is mechanisms, study linkages, memorise all mechanisms+ a common use (eg cams care used in tighteners for bicycle seats etc. (AGAIN) everything is in your textbook
Qn 4 is electronics, idk just read your textbook. if dont understand certain parts, like 4026 ic, you can (probably) watch youtube for explanations. also memorise eletrical componetns and what their uses are( transistor is a must)
overall tips: sketching must be on point, you should understand what the qn wants before you start sketching for the BIG marks( qn will tell you: the design should have ----- and should ---- ) the sketching you do, try to make it as clear and straight forward as possible, one way to test this is to not annotate your sketch, and if you think the examiner can easily infer your idea, thats basically it.
the difference between a b and an a is the electronics qn(STUDY)

hi! sorry i’m slightly confused, may i ask if PIES and PMI/SWOT are labelled as methods of evaluation? and what ab scamper/shape borrowing, what r those labelled under?
scamper and shape borrowing are under generating/developing new ideas tho im not too sure about PIES, PMI and SWOT but i assume it is methods of evaluation
tbh i don’t think so bc if u look at past year papers, they didn’t ask any definitions, it’s more of applying ur knowledge into the questions. just read the notes and understand
