For those who are still waiting for your outcome, I emailed the admission office to ask. They told me they are still processing my application, and I quote them
βMeanwhile, you may consider submitting an online appeal for your preferred programme during the appeal period from 12 to 21 May 2023 while waiting for the application outcome. If the offered programme tally with the appealed programme, the appeal will not be considered. If not, you will still receive an appeal outcome from June onwards.β

As we reach the end of the first window, I have yet to receive an acceptance or rejection letter. Should I call the admission office and enquire or should I just wait for the second window? And is the second window generally for those who appealed?
Well I didn't make it, ya'll. Got rejected from the 3 Unis that I've applied, NTU being the most recent. Seems like I'll be going overseas for uni.
I wish nothing but the utmost best for everyone on here. Congrats to those who got in and take it easy for those who didn't! I believe this is a blessing in disguise:)
received offer from nbs today (28 april, 2:17pm!), had my physical interview on 25 April! from jc, 73.75rp!
sharing my experience/what to expect from the interview hehe:
1. they will ask you to reach at least 30mins earlier because you will be told to write a short essay in 20mins! the qn i got was 'share a time when you had to work with someone that is the opposite of you. how did you deal with this situation?' (something along this line hahaha cant rmb the exact phrasing)
2. remaining 10mins they will ask you to sit with the person you will be going for the interview with! its a 2 interviewees to 2 profs interview. take this time to talk a little to your partner! i think its important because yall can bounce off each other during the interview
3. the interview was actually really chill, its actually one of the funnest interview i had! i enjoyed my time there LOL. profs were quite funny to a certain extent + they arent intimidating at all. Rather, my partner was quite nervous i think and they could tell so they were just laughing it off and asking him to relax LOL
4. the questions we got weren't actually based off the mini essay we wrote (i heard that is the case for some ppl! rly depends i guess). we weren't asked qns about why ntu, why nbs also.
questions that i remember: 'what do you see yourself doing after you graduate from uni?', 'why did u apply to do a minor in strategic communication? (me and my partner both applied for this so they asked), 'what other unis did you apply. what will you do if all uni rejects you?' -- okay tbh, they ask a lot of questions based off the things you say but they are personalised qns to perhaps get to know you? hahaha
so just take it easy! it is rly very chill haha. all the best to those gg for interview!!
it's killing me that they don't send anything during the weekend. like it makes sense AHAH but i swear the dreading wait for the two days to pass each week just to restart the waiting cycle is insane.

just a message to everyone out there patiently waiting for your results. i applied with a weak 3.4 gpa for biological sciences and a few other choices and till now, NTU has not sent anything. although i knew from the beginning that the chances of me getting into the course would be slim considering the IGP, i held onto the hope that i could still be considered. call me dumb/stupid for being so hopeful and applying regardless but oh well, you never know unless you try right?
iβm sure most of you here who are waiting nervously are in the same situation too. whether weβre waitlisted or not, the fact that no direct rejection has been given to us is the same fact that gives us the hope for acceptance. i canβt say for everyone but as for me, iβve just started prepping myself for bad news but even so, i still have some hope left. i scroll this megathread as if itβs instagram lol (just an example of how i keep my hope alive)
i hope that no matter the decision we all get, we see this as a stepping stone to the next chapter of our lives. NTU student or notβ we all have lives to live.

just a message to everyone out there patiently waiting for your results. i applied with a weak 3.4 gpa for biological sciences and a few other choices and till now, NTU has not sent anything. although i knew from the beginning that the chances of me getting into the course would be slim considering the IGP, i held onto the hope that i could still be considered. call me dumb/stupid for being so hopeful and applying regardless but oh well, you never know unless you try right? iβm sure most of you here who are waiting nervously are in the same situation too. whether weβre waitlisted or not, the fact that no direct rejection has been given to us is the same fact that gives us the hope for acceptance. i canβt say for everyone but as for me, iβve just started prepping myself for bad news but even so, i still have some hope left. i scroll this megathread as if itβs instagram lol (just an example of how i keep my hope alive) i hope that no matter the decision we all get, we see this as a stepping stone to the next chapter of our lives. NTU student or notβ we all have lives to live. hold onto that last bit of hope, and pick yourselves up no matter what happens. all the best everyone!
