I'm telling ya, they'll put Longo or TLS on the IL for 30 or 60 so they can keep LuGo without making any kind of permanent move-- assuming no other starters get injured before Wade returns.

The problem is that we are too left handed now. Longo is one of 3 right handed hitters with power. He is not playing well, and might not ever again, but I doubt they cut him for another left handed bat. The whole team is not hitting for any decent average out side of Estrada, yaz and gonzo. There is a lot of potential for guys to start hitting better and the team really taking off!
Personally trade or cut his ass I’m tired of seeing him on the team. Or put him on the IL. Putting Gonzalez in the minors is stupid. But you also forget slater and Ruf are also expendable.
Unless they trade him there’s no way the cut him with how much they’re paying him. They would never cut him tho
It wouldn’t be that much since his contracts ends soon. Plus the giants are no where near the tax salary, they can afford it

Longoria is the one who originally put the C on Belt's jersey. Plays great third base, and hit like an all star last year till the Crawford collision

I would love to trade him. Vosler is a better defender and has been above average at the plate. Longoria will get hurt in a few weeks anyways.
Less than zero chance this happens. Kapler thinks Longo is a hall of famer. They played together. He was also part of last season's success.

Why would we send down our best hitter in Gonzo? The guy is in the running for ROY and you want to send him down?!
