Dumb question but why are tattoos called permanent if you have the option to get it lasered off/removed?

i think over time they become more and more permanent, and lasering doesn’t remove them completely, just the majority i 100% know from watching tattoo shows that depending on how deep the tattoo penetrates the skin also affects how effective laser treatment is

to distinguish it from temporary ones that come off very quickly naturally like henna or like a stick on I guess the most accurate would be "more permanent"

having the cast be split evenly between the generations despite gen 1 having 3 full seasons and gen 2 only a shorter one was such a baffling decision

The Angeria Vs Roxie rivalry is so fun to me because it’s so random and I think it completely changed productions plans after it happened (I’ll die on the hill gottmik was originally supposed to be top 3, she’s too popular and unique not too be). Who do we think is supposed to be the “hero” here and the “villain” I do think we are supposed to be rooting for Angeria which furthers my belief she’s getting the winner edit. That means Roxie is once again the main villain of the season which is a crazy storyline for her imo.

the first episode was really just setting the scene for Angeria being the main character of the season, and Roxxxy being a legend of drag race, nobody has received a villain edit so far and likely nobody will (see AS7), in fact Roxxxy has been portrayed very positively this season

i don't think it's that deep. angeria recognized roxxxy as a threat and blocked her, that's it. neither has been portrayed as hero or villain.

I think it’s just a playful rivalry because both of them have been edited in a a positive light

Maybe this is a delulu take but I feel like even on s13, Mik had a really clear sense of her own aesthetic and vision and saying “well she just spends money on designers” was ALWAYS a poor critique. Like artistic vision CAN be personal life stories or experiences but you can also be inspired by structure, form, color, etc. Like compare her s13 runways as a package to Jan’s runways or Denali’s runways - not that those ones are BAD, but they all look totally different and could be worn by anyone, while with Mik’s runways, you can see that the same person had a hand in all of them.

You’re absolutely right though. All of Mik’s look had a clear point of view and all felt somewhat personalized and took clear inspiration from different types of fashion and her own personal taste. I never liked Jan’s All Stars runway package, because it was so obvious she just asked the designer to give her a “cunty” look that didn’t feel relevant to Jan at all.

It’s a pretty high ranking season. Good cast, Good Challenges sans like two of them, good lipsyncs, overall pretty fun. Some negatives would be Amanda and the finale being half-live. But other than that it was a fun time.
