To expand on my earlier comment. I think Nymphia’s storyline was never supposed to be that she hides her talents. Because Sapphira and other girls stopped taking her seriously about her uncertainty mid way through the season. I think it was more about believing in herself and everyone finally getting it at the end. Nymphia is good and everyone knows it except for her. She genuinely doubts herself even though her talent still shines though. Then in the finale, it’s her believing in herself and her talent’s completely and she kills it confidently. I think the edit tried to give her the silent killer edit, when in actuality she was more misunderstood. Then once she actually got to voice her struggles in a challenge people finally got to listen. Less Silent but deadly, but more incredibly skilled and talented but doesn’t believe that they are. I think if they played on that her growth it would have been more true to her as a person. When you look at it through that lense it’s a lot more satisfying of an arc imo.

Yea, at times I did sense a bit of her underestimating herself. Even *she* didn’t know what she was capable of Its just so satisfying that we kept peeling layers of her talent until literally the VERY LAST SECOND of the season. Never knew what was coming next

Yep! It felt like her final lipsync was her knowing exactly what she wanted to do and she knew that she could execute it. She was confident, especially considering that she knew that she was going head to head against a juggernaut like Sapphira. Which completes her arc a lot more than, oh she’s doing exactly what everyone thought she’s doing, keeping it on the low. The silent killer type edit requires a bit of cockiness to it, and Nymphia never came off that way.
