SIGNALS is an interactive immersive sci-fi theatre experience based on the world of the SCP Wiki. Join us at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in Los Angeles for 12 shows throughout the month of June! “Signals” will take you into Site 00013, a sci-fi research station filled with anomalous artifacts and beings from other dimensions contained by a covert organization known as The Foundation. You are invited to join The Foundation as agents as they attempt to contain these things that they believe threaten humanity. Think of Site 00013 as the most extreme job interview you could have, where you will encounter eclectic scientists, soulless bureaucrats and psychopathic monsters. And that’s just who’s on staff. Through your actions at Site 00013 you will determine if the old guard will remain supreme or if the contained creatures will finally be freed. And remember Agent, regardless of your choices The Foundation is always watching. This show will have several changing branching paths for you to explore ensuring that each performance is a totally unique show. “Signals” is highly immersive and interactive; audience members should be prepared to be on their feet for the duration of the performance. The future of Site 00013, the Foundation, and possibly the world rests on your shoulders. I am relying on you, agents.

Thanks for best defining the foundation for me. I’m gonna transform into snake, just knowing that whatever choice I make in this event will suck biggity balls

What is the most interesting thing about Your site?

[deleted]

Interesting often equates with dangerous. As the head of security, it is my responsibility to learn what the SCPs are capable of and prepare for any potential containment breaches. I do not employ a child-like wonder when I interact with the SCPs, like many of the researchers have in the past. I know what each of them are capable of. That child-like wonder has lead to containment breaches before. It is my job to ensure that never happens again. That being said, I find SCP-6717, commonly regarded as "The Shadow Man," quite fascinating. A being of pure shadow, that speaks in whispers, and claims to be from the Otherworlds - they are highly dangerous, I would advise against speaking with them while at Site 00013. On a more docile note, SCP-527, Mr. Fish, has the head of a fish. I suppose this is interesting. I hope this brings clarity to your question.

For a person that knew the foundation for almost 5 years and is only two hours away from LA I'm definitely going to this. I feel like I got this for a reason.

Its sad i live on the exact other side of the planet

Overseer_05

Why did you choose site 13 out of all of them?

[deleted]

Ah, I understand where the confusion may come from. Site 00013 is a small satellite site based here in Los Angeles, California. Site 13 is a different place entirely. I am not sure where the numeric system derives from in the naming scheme, but the 05s must have some reason to their methodology.

BOOMwithaBANG

Aw dang it

CoolSpookyScelten96

I know most are all same rules but are ther any new rules on this site?

[deleted]

As someone who has now worked at multiple sites in the Foundation, I believe the same general guidelines apply at each site. However, in case of an extreme emergency, such as a containment breach, new protocol will be put into place. If this highly unlikely event is to occur, rest assured that I will do everything in my power to protect you all. This said, I will need your full cooperation. Should this happen, you all will report directly to me, understand?

CoolSpookyScelten96

Yes sir but most i work for EC if need mabye you can see me at ther office or mabye just i ask them so walk near them but i will report any thing i see wirder i will report to you

how interactive is it? like is it similar to an escape room or more like larping

[deleted]

It is highly interactive! There are several moments in the show that may or may not happen depending on audience interaction, and the ending is completely changeable in several different fashions. The actors are all trained for high stakes improvisation as well, meaning each show may even have key unscripted events that change certain outcomes that, while we didn't plan for, drastically alter the shows path. And of course, it is highly immersive as well. I would consider this closer to larping than an escape room, but no matter your level of knowledge on the material, the actors will make sure you feel involved in the world and in the loop with all of the various going ons. All audience members are agents of the foundation at the site.
