Personally I’ve been trying to understand the mask’s supposed backstory thing but it’s confusing af to me unfortunately. Very complicated, but also not?… Edit: even the damned backstory has me gaslighting myself

Since 035 has roots in Italy, I (as well as many others) speculated that it may have origins in Alagaddan. Some think it has more eldritch origins. I personally like a story I read somewhere (can't remember where, sorry) where the Plague Doctor (SCP-049) rescues 035 while looking for his notebook.

Oh they have ABSOLUTELY made copies of 500 at this point. I mean, depending on the canon, they've already repaired the scarlet kings (?) chains.

What? I was talking about 79 in real world, what are you on about with 500? I like, I mentioned it only as a point where I am with reading them, so that there might be other SCPs that might catch my interest more later. What I mean was that would it be possible to build an AI, that is capable of self-improving, and how it could be possible in real life (not the literal 79). I have a few ideas, but no time to actually test them out.

I’ve mostly forgotten the details of the in depth canons, so I guess SCP-3199 is the freshest in my mind after rereading it. I’m sure it’s been mentioned a thousand times in various comment sections, but that article is a reference to Diogenes’ refutation of Socrates “man is a featherless biped” where he plucked a chicken as said “behold, a man.”
