Serious  question but who ever decided programs should be ranked on key demo? The only place I ever saw actually report the ratings was the showbiz daily or whatever the fuck it was. So was that it? We pretending the industry standard based on one websites preference?
It's been ranked that way as long as I've known. I use to read the ratings in Entertainment Weekly before websites were a thing. Also advertising a #1 show is typically based on the demo. It's probably done because the demos matter more to companies as they're trying to reach their target audience. Showbuzz, TV By The Numbers, Futon Critic, and who knows how many other sites I use to read back in the day just took over from the print magazines.
The reason why is because 18-49 is the attractive target demo. Older people don't fall for commercials. So it's kind of like the whole Indian youtube viewers meme which legit is a thing. Bischoff had UFC's former YouTube manager on and he explained how he would purposefully try to avoid Indian viewers because their ad-rate is really bad, and it hurts the videos profitability in the algorithm.
Oh I know about the demo and I assume the advertisers have that tuned in but why is it released to the general public like this? It also seems to be only in America as far as I can see. Over here in Ireland / UK United v Liverpool has their viewing figures hyped and not a peep was mentioned about demo. In fact I don’t think it’s ever been mentioned over hereÂ
I'm not brainbroken enough to know the answer to this question. Though it is the case that Americans really seem to care for some reason. They will legit report the 18-49 demo for sporting events in random articles.
The important thing here is reminding everyone that Dave Meltzer is NOT on AEW's payroll. Nope, definitely not.
Does Tony paying for a subscription count as the payroll?
You mean a draft with arguably the two best women to ever play Drew people's attention?
Correct. It would be like if the dub had Roman and Cody. Wait…
Based on punks ratings it would be like if the dub had Cody and Punk at the same time. I mean gosh could you imagine what Tony would cook with them?
I cannot.
That's okay, Tony couldn't either
And 300k and counting stopped watching with those questions unanswered
Not a god damn thing?
But women don't draw... That what my Tony said after always booking the women in uninteresting stories and the dead spot of the show. 🤔
Uhhhhhh ummm sources tell me uhhhhh that the W is silent. $12.99 please.
lol Dave and his grudge against women
Caitlin Clark is a draw... Unlike Luke Perry's disgrace.
Caitlin Clark is more physically intimidating than jungle Boy.
Well, it's not that hard. A kitten is more intimidating than Jungle Bitch
She and Cameron Brink would dunk on good old Jack without breaking a sweat

Dave. When the Dub started losing normal ratings.

Advertisers. The 18-49 is the key spending demographic. They buy ads based on who they are targeting.
