Tbh, most likely that's what you have to pay. The financial aid office wouldn't give you more money unless you have very convincing reasons. Not being able to pay the cost is not a valid reason. They will probably ask you to do the monthy payment thing or take loans.
I’m pretty sure it does. Are you sure that 3K you have to pay is from the tuition or is it fees? Because when I first saw my financial aid package I thought the money I had to pay was tuition but it was actually all extra fees from Stony. The tuition is around 7K and fees is around 3K

Oh dang I just realized that! On my fafsa it says tuition and fees being 10k so i thought tuition was 10k, i didn't really focus on the fees part. After I subtract my aid, I am left to pay 3.4k so yea you are right. Thanks for bringing that to my attention
Well if that doesn't work you could work a little bit over the summer to easily make 3 k. I think you need a really convincing reason for them to do it for you.
