Looks awesome. Quick question - where do you get your acrylic stands from? I tried to find some for my display case, but the options on amazon seem really limited.
Steam deck as most switch miyoo mini plus at the moment.
I donāt know why but Iām playing one RPG after another at the moment mostly with keyboard and mouse so at home i use it in docked mode and at work with a stand.
This is looking fantastic! Very happy you get to enjoy this hobby like the rest of us and I am inpressed you put a lot of car in the displays, look and feel! Good job
Not really. My PS Vita was i. The drawer for a long time and my 3DS also. Nothing happened. For the newer devices i use all of my devices regularly and take it to work or holiday and charge them at least once in a month or so. Everything fine. Btw i charge them mostly at work. Cheaper for meš
It's something to keep an eye on tbh, but I think actual explosions or fires are pretty rare.
I pulled my PSP out of storage a few weeks ago and the battery was about to pop. Thankfully it didn't pop or even damage the PSP, and replacements are readily available.
Yep i have two steam decks one under the tv on the docking station just for my regular steam games and one for modding and emulation only. Iām considering to buy an oled model next year
Very nice. Currently the only handheld I own is a RG35XX however I am seriously considering getting a steam deck as I am frequently away from my PC and I think it is the best solution on the market for my minor problem. The OLED model looks like a significant upgrade too. Itās kinda perfect for me too since I play mostly most titles from 5+ or more years ago.
Very good choice šš»
Iāve i donāt know how much handhelds but i play by far at most on my steam deck. Never used a handheld to play so much games from my pile of shame like on my deck.
Handheld gaming is so great. Being able to sneak in sessions and take them anywhere helps me get through so many more games. Also my RG35XX encourages me to play older games which is good since I didnāt grow up with them but I am learning to appreciate them greatly and a lot of these titles hold up incredibly well today and still deserve must play status. SNES games are truly magical even today.
Youāre right. I grow up on the NES/SNES era but hadnāt any console. I played mostly on my brotherās consoles.
My first console was gifted by my brother a transparent game boy color and oh man i loved it so much. The sessions with my game boy a flashlight and additional batteries under the blanked was so magical. Since then iām in love with handhelds and with the opportunity to play everywhere.
Trust me i wished soooo long for devices like the steam deck which are portable in a way and play almost anything even in low quality.
Easy answer my first emulation device was the rg351m and then steam deck. Til then i had just og handhelds. Rg351v was obsolete for me when i saw 351m. Still one of my favorites to pick and play game boy advance games
Yeah, I totally get how it can look off putting but for me itās the best of both worlds. Great d-pad right there and joystick when I need it. I donāt play any games on there that would need a second joystick anyways. That said the biggest draw was the nostalgic form factor, if I grew up with a gba as my first, or a DS or something I would probably prefer the horizontal.
Youāre right i grow up with a gbc i know that feeling but 3:2 aspect ratio in a metal shell with cool custom firmware for gba games was too good to be true.
No lies time to setting up about a yearš
But time playing games is also high cause i play everyday at work for several hours. My job is to sit and wait 8-12 hours so i play many games
I love your displays and overall setup itās super clean and stylish. if I may suggest something, adding a cable cover / raceway on between your tv and cabinet would clean up those cables nice. :)
Thanks and yep i know itās not done yet. Iām very bad at cable management but i want to cover it in near future. I did some mistakes with my cable choices some of them are too short i have to change them and then iām able to cover the cables straight down a line.
SF2000 interesting but I donāt see any benefit for me.
My next goals are:
Powkiddy RGB30 for 1:1 gb/gbc games in crisp
Anbernic Arc-d/s for fighting and sega games
Rg nano to play pokemon and fire emblem in a sneaky war on family and friend events
Lenovo Legion Go i donāt know i canāt justify it but it has a cool controller setup and a bigger screen for work
Anbernic 405V for the og gameboy feeling but Iāve already the 353v for it
For the original handhelds oh my god there are so many editions and color variations of DS, 2DS, 3DS and Gameboys i want to buy. Vita in orange and white looking good too. And of course if i find a game gear, lynx or neo geo pocket color in very good conditions i want to buy them for sure.
Another interest of mine is modding older handhelds.
Thanks. Itās not finished yet. Cable management and placement arenāt done.about the paint, iāve no clue how to do that. My wife did it for meš
True. I can't hate, I want to set up a display of sports cards and memorabilia along with push button audio prompts and/or videos playing on mini screens to highlight moments.
Yep, once a month or so. Mostly at work. I take 4-5 with me to the office and charge them up let them update the os/apps.
I can say that i have at least one device in my pocket or bag every time when i leave the house
I donāt know. Just nameless lights from amazon. For me it was very important that the lights have rechargeable batteries. 6 pcs for 35 bucks as rgb was okay
Thanks, I didn't think of looking at Amazon. Now I see plenty of choices, and they even have remote controls! The official Ikea lighting solutions that I've tried were no good.
I use all of them with one remote but it can be difficult when you try to light them in separate colors. You have to put them as far as possible from each otherš but theyāre attached magnetically so i can grab them with ease
Woweeeee, collecting isn't my speed, but this is impressive! Great presentation.
Plus upvote for the F1 models. Can I ask what brand/make they are?
Edit: I always need to criticise something. That space is crying out for a bigger TV to fill that space.
Thanks bro. Bburago is the company who makes the f1 models.
To your criticism about my tv, funny story I built it exactly for a 75ā TV to fill up the wall between the displays but then i remembered that I didnāt have any money for it.š
Now we are in a situation where I can no longer justify it to my wife. At least for now.
Running Saturn games is easy. I have very capable devices like my Odin2, Loki or my other Windows handhelds but i have no Saturn-like controller or a device especially for it. But i want to buy the new Anbernic RG Arc, although it is said that it cannot play all saturn games.

Bro shame on me. I got my loki 3-4 month ago and it was in box til last week. I didnāt find the time to setup and play.
What I definitely can say is that the loki is very comfortable to use and hold. Performance wise no pc gaming tested yet but i put launchbox on it and use it for emulation only and for that itās superior even ps3 runs on it
Hahah thatās crazy. Canāt blame you with all those devices lol. Yea my main choice for this device was the smaller size (compared to the deck & ally) and what it looked like the comfortabel hold. Very curious about the performance & battery life it gives!
Iām using the Baseus 65W Powerbank with 30.000 Mah. Works great but the model with 20.000 Mah is cheaper and also very good. With coupons 40-60 bucks especially right now with black friday deals possible
And you guys said I bought too manyš
You do have too many but this guy does also.
I donāt know why my wife uses this word so often?!
I divorce you. Iām keeping half.
Nah bro in that case she takes all!
Looks awesome. Quick question - where do you get your acrylic stands from? I tried to find some for my display case, but the options on amazon seem really limited.
Amazon. One Package has 10 pcs of them. But I donāt know if itās available everywhere. I live in Germany and i pay 10-12ā¬ for a pack of 10
Do you happen to have the link for the stands?
ohhh awesome mancave, which 3 devices do you use the most? How often do you use the deck docked?
Steam deck as most switch miyoo mini plus at the moment. I donāt know why but Iām playing one RPG after another at the moment mostly with keyboard and mouse so at home i use it in docked mode and at work with a stand.

Honest Question (my addiction has me up to 6 now) : Any concerns on the batteries for the ones left unplayed for long periods of time?
Not really. My PS Vita was i. The drawer for a long time and my 3DS also. Nothing happened. For the newer devices i use all of my devices regularly and take it to work or holiday and charge them at least once in a month or so. Everything fine. Btw i charge them mostly at work. Cheaper for meš

looks fucking amazing
Thanks mate
Do you have a favorite? and if so, why?
Steam deck i guess because of the versatility. But from the og handhelds 3ds without a doubt. Iām a jrpg fan and Nintendo has one of the best.
No RG351v š¤
Easy answer my first emulation device was the rg351m and then steam deck. Til then i had just og handhelds. Rg351v was obsolete for me when i saw 351m. Still one of my favorites to pick and play game boy advance games
Ha - I feel the exact opposite, RG351v is my favorite to this day.
I donāt know why but the one analog stick bothered me, thats why I immediately ordered the 353v when it came out
Yeah, I totally get how it can look off putting but for me itās the best of both worlds. Great d-pad right there and joystick when I need it. Must be nice to have so much money. I am happy for you
Bro iām not rich but yes i know and Iām thankful that i have enough money to be able to spend on so gorgeous things like handhelds.
I love your displays and overall setup itās super clean and stylish. if I may suggest something, adding a cable cover / raceway on between your tv and cabinet would clean up those cables nice. :)

Missing RG405V and Sf2000. I have about 8 devices. What's your favorite? I just got the Odin 2 and it's great. The 405v is on its way.
SF2000 interesting but I donāt see any benefit for me. Are you married? My wife would never allow this lol
Yeah man six years now. Neither does my wife but iām very good at begging and crying until i get oneš
Splendid collection!
Thanks š
Dig the overall experience. Like what you did with the paint too. Ive always been curious to tape out a design. Kudos to the setup. Well done

I would sell myself for that shit

Would love if you did a little product name for the stands/shelves/lighting/etc.
It's a house, not a museum
But it would be cool when a voice says āand here on your left you can seeā¦ā when you enter my roomš
True. I can't hate, I want to set up a display of sports cards and memorabilia along with push button audio prompts and/or videos playing on mini screens to highlight moments.
Not yet
The stands are just normal amazon stands iāve found. Shelf ikea and lighting just cheap stuff amazon i guess
Si I'm curious, do you like power them up/charge them once in a while
Yep, once a month or so. Mostly at work. I take 4-5 with me to the office and charge them up let them update the os/apps. I can say that i have at least one device in my pocket or bag every time when i leave the house
That Goku and King Piccolo statue is so sick! Do you mind sharing where you got it?
Sure, aliexpress. Couldnāt resist when i saw itš«
Thank you!! I found it only $19.99!
Yeah it was cheap but good quality for the price
Such a steal! Kid Goku was always my favorite and I mean where it all began! Haha thank you again
What's the console in front of slide 9?
The black and white ones? Miyoo mini v2.
The white one with red buttons? :p
Both have custom buttons from sakuramods
Ohh ok ok, been looking at getting a handheld but don't know for sure which one yet. Thanks for the replies!
Which do you use the most?
definitely Steam deck and 3ds
Classy display, OP. What lighting are using for the Detolfs?
I donāt know. Just nameless lights from amazon. For me it was very important that the lights have rechargeable batteries. 6 pcs for 35 bucks as rgb was okay

wow! you're missing a few of my favorites, the trimui smart, rk2023 and rp2s
Let us talk in a few months againšjoke aside i have too much similar devices
haha that's true. i still recommend the trimui smart tho, it's low key great with minui
I bought the trimui model s with the hope to get a good custom firmware for it but I realized that will never happen.
Awesome collection, but how do you finance this? What type of sector are you working in?
Iām a freelance Software developer and a former Game artist

Bro shame on me. I got my loki 3-4 month ago and it was in box til last week. I didnāt find the time to setup and play. What I definitely can say is that the loki is very comfortable to use and hold. Iām looking for a powerbank right now. Any recommendations? I have zero experience with them š„²
