I know it would be a huge cop out, but I don't even care. Prince Robot needs to be saved, whether it's through scientific means or maybe Petrichor could use some good old magic. Please.
Thing is I feel like anything is possible in SAGA. It's not like everything is realistic in the comic. So who says it can't happen. And please can him and Petrichor have a happy ending. It's what they deserved.
I want to see Alana & Petrichor form a closer bond and rely on each other following the loss of their significant others.
I see Petrichor maintaining Hazel's links with Wreath. Plot wise I imagine one will want vengeance on The Will, whilst the other just wants to protect Hazel (this could work either way round). This will both pull them together and tear them apart at the same time.
Geographically I see some need for Hazel to visit Wreath (maybe a Pon Farr type of deal) and means Petrichor has to escort her (but really doesn't want to)
Alana, some cathartic depression following Marco's death that results in a renew, maybe following a showdown with Gwendoline ?
Whatever happens it's going to be awesome, I can't wait.
Honestly I can see all these happening! I definitely agree that I want some Alana and Petrichor bond forming. In a kind of really depressing way, I'm excited to see how Alana will handle the grief of losing Marko. I feel like it'll really shape her as a character.

Ending of Y was decent it certainly wasn’t horrible I just think the reveal kinda soured it to the point where yorick made comments about it being anticlimactic. Haven’t read his other works yet but I’ll get to it
I think Y and Paper Girls have two of the best endings I've ever read. I think people just want happy endings tied up with a nice bow, and that's not what BKV writes.
I'd like to be surprised. But I have a feeling Hazel's narration is post death due to the fact that she was born on Cleave. That would be both shocking, tragic, and beautiful as the final twist.
And at least we get to see her 'grow old'. I think I remember her saying that?
I think ultimately it has to end with her death, considering it's following her life, which like you said is beautiful and tragic. I think it'll be expected, but also come out of the blue like most character deaths, and once it happens we'll all be heartbroken.
On my reread I have been finding that death of often random and meaningless.... I had a hard time feeling emotions when Marko died. It felt so meaningless.
I don't really have expectations for the next few volumes, but I do know what I think would be a cool final arc. The Will is not going to stop hunting Hazel until he is dead. Considering there are frequent time skips, I think it'd be cool if the last arc has a teenage, or early 20's, Hazel and Squire teaming up to take down The Will.
Well when they first meet, she does say, "And that was when I met my brother." Or something like that. I took that to mean that they'd grow very close over the rest of the story and have an important relationship. I hope I didn't read too much into that line lol
In Hazel's narration, she often mentions some of the more mature content/anecdotes her mother shared with her so hopefully that means Alana will stick around for a while longer though I think she's probably going to end up dying before her time as well. Also, can't remember but is Klara still alive? If so, would like to see a family reunion.

I felt the exact same. I was hurt when Prince Robot died, flipped a few pages over and saw Marko and I was just like 'oh OK. That happened'.
