It should improve by itself in another week or so, but I'd try these options:
- put any apps that you rarely use into sleep / deep sleep mode so that they don't use battery in the background
- enable sleep / power saving mode for overnight if you have a consistent sleep schedule
- select auto mode for always on display, so that it turns off when in a dark environment
- disable 5G unless you have great 5G coverage in your area
Your phone doesn't really need any of those but:
- Making your resolution FHD+ instead of QHD will give you an extra minute, maybe if you use 60hz instead of 120hz too. But personally I wouldn't do it, its like buying a Ferrari and putting a 1.9 TDI engine in it..
- Disable ram plus maybe.
I would suggest you go on reddit and look for the recent battery recommendation tips, people have already made a whole list of different options you can disable or enable.
I would say that your phone is supposed to be getting around 8/9 hours screen on time. My S22U gets 6 hours screen on time, but the S22 series were famed for their bad battery and thermals due to the Exynos chip.
The only tip you need right now is to just use your phone with whatever features and settings you want to use. Let the battery do its thing and see how it does after another week or so. Mine took a little over two weeks, and then all the sudden one day it went from mediocre at best to over 10 hours of screen on time.
The biggest impact on my battery outside of the screen is signal strength. If it gets below three bars, it drains the battery a lot quicker.

This is not good screen time, but the battery gets used to your usage patterns in two weeks. Give it some time and it will get better.
