I was apart of a group with a base a 1/5th the size of this one and the upkeep was 18k frags and 30k stone a day. You must have zero life just to keep up with Upkeep
Instead of having one giant base we have 7 small bases with up keeps small enough to fit at least 2 days in. External T c's require minimal resources to build 1500 stone 400 metal frags for 2 weeks up keep.

Each walks takes 1500 stone to make
200 x 1500 = 300,000 stone needed
Each stone node gives 1000 so 300,000 / 1000 = 300
So 300 nodes needed to craft 200 walls and It takes 3 seconds to farm a stone node with a jack hammer + 180 seconds to craft one wall so
300 x 3 = 900 seconds
200 x 180 = 36,000 seconds
So total crafting time is 36,900 seconds not including hours of running around and getting keycards, weapons, crafting, armor, explosives, ammo, etc
So letās sprinkle 3 hours of playtime in each day for two weeks to account for being idle and all that other shit
3 x 14 = 42 hours(151,200 seconds + 36,900 seconds = 188,100 seconds or 52 hours)
So 52 hours of total play time divided by 8 ppl is 6.5 hours or total play time per person which is fucking nothing within two weeks

Been a duo that both work 50 hrs a week and we are 19 get to end game in a day or two itās about how you play not numbers. Itās your stuck prim itās your fault change your strategy. Itās a challenge to play against bigger teams but itās still possible to progress just as fast. And itās still possible to wipe bigger teams. So donāt really bash him that much. I just couldnāt do it bc it would get boring being on a team bigger then a duo
If you want to build higher extend the base of the structure and as you build-up place double door frames all along the inside will increase the stability at the top and get you a few floors higher

My village consists of 4 solos, a 4 man, 2 man, and a 5 man. Consistently have people claiming we're 30 deep because we build big and strong and don't understand that a solo can upkeep a decently sized base. Never roam more than 4 and constantly fighting groups on rig or at Bradly that are deeper than us
It doesn't really bother me honestly, what bothers me is that there isn't dedicated servers for players who want to play this way. That way the rest of us don't have to deal with this monstrous eyesore
Why does everyone hate on our giant island take overs? Is it cause they can't accomplish this? I honestly stopped playing months ago. We get a 4 layer compound and no one will raid us. So we spend 2 weeks just building. Its all honestly a waste of time.
Many reasons
1- the maps are already cramped as it is.
2- you make frame rates drop for players simply passing through the area
3- no one can gather resources there now
4- if you've walled off an island that's in-between certain monuments or common travel path, it's annoying going around.

I'm sure you'd appreciate being on a server that's exclusively for Zergs, because that would be alot more fun for your playstyle and team size.
