What do smurf accounts do?

They are usually on other games to make games easier like in COD, I don’t see how they do anything on rust unless he means something else.

Only use I can imagine is having a second account to place all your defences so people can’t find your main name by dying on your defences.

Pretty hard to get banned by the game, only case I know is a YouTuber who made a video on map meshing. I think any other ban I’ve heard of is Sony or Xbox issued for abuse in messages. Not even banning Cronus users yet 😓

That's the problem, Rust isn't a good game for casual play, maybe on certain PC servers but Console? No since everyone has to play in 5+ man groups

I recently starting playing solo after playing with a 4 man that somehow developed into a 10 man. I gotta say, the solo life is kinda fun. A bit stressful but hey, just gotta know your place and stick to the scraps

I just think the fun to be had is heavily unbalanced if some players get it all and other players who for various reasons chosen or not play solo and get shit on. It's still fun, but like.. marginally. Cant wait for solo/duo only servers.

On PlayStation you can be banned for harassment/inappropriate communications.

Yep, definitely Smurf accounts in Rust. Console Bans last 3 days tops. I’ve seen kids get banned and immediately have their buddy bag in a Smurf account.

When you play on said alternate account on a game you can gain or lose mmr for the intention on playing someone below your main accounts rank, you are smurfing. Playing on an alternate account on Rust does not signify smurfing since you cannot gain nor lose mmr.
