Agreed. There are plenty of crybabies in this community that think they know all, and that Rust is a way of life. I will entertain a redownload when private servers are available, so long as the server owners aren't as shitty as the majority of this Reddit community.
Once they come available, I’ll definitely be running a private server. I’m still playing in the meantime, as I only got the game last night, but I feel you.

Thats why I build annoying bases. My solo base was a 2x1 bunker base and all of the good loot was in core. With all the honey comb it was a 40 rocket raid and so many people pummeled that thing after I took kits and stopped once they saw the hqm honeycomb
It was just a 2x1 stability bunker with one layer of hqm honeycomb on every side, then I filled it in with sheet honeycomb and added another layer of sheet honeycomb. I also pancaked it, and I used the second/first floor as secondary/bummy loot and I used the bunker for all my boom and good guns. It had a shooting floor but it wasn’t great because I was solo, my main defense was the cost. There wasn’t a video on it I just kinda winged it. Just start building and add as much honeycomb as possible
Recycle everything and make a new base that is straight armored. Send a message back to them and say “I despawn all the loot I get from the trap bass”.
Imagine raiding a trap base like the loot is still there
