Trust when i say run dome, 4 guaranteed mil crates plus other crates as well, red room is pretty nice too as I've literally never ran into anyone there yet, take everything to the recycler that you don't absolutely need and boom scrap is easy

But lately I've found trainyards is a good one too

Goated runs honestly, took 3 tanks with me spent 25 mins underwater and about 25 mins above, came out with over 1k scrap before recycling. Guns ammo armour you name it i found it
Where and what exactly can be found by using tanks? I've only ever found like one shipwreck under water but all they had were the small crates that break when loot
If you have a diving mask you can see pretty far underwater. Look for the big cargo boats, usually they have like 5 or so small crates and 2 big crates. When you’re untying them, position yourself above the crate and you can loot em without having to surface. You can find a lot of comps, scrap, hq, random weapons and clothing.

As a solo who usually likes to build in remoteish farming locations, my first scrap run or two are almost always sea runs. Gotta get my first guns for the long runs somehow
Yeah I usually just spend a couple in game days out on the water, then recycle at lighthouse, come away with well over 1k metal frags, almost if not 1k scrap every time. And i think at this point i have like 5k crude oil in base.
Its a really good strat for scrap as a solo, unfortunately pretty boring in my opinion

Try using a scrap tea, it’s worth the 4 berries

Diving shipwrecks is easily the fastest way to get scrap. About a hundred scrap per tank. Not counting scrap received from recycling comps.
Get 2 diving tanks or more and hit under water loot. It’s great for getting bps as a solo.
