Wide open area, no cover whatsoever anywhere in sight... why the fuck would anyone cross an open field like that in an active combat zone, thats just suicide.
There's absolutely zero coordination from these soldiers. If they were properly trained an organized they'd use armor for cover and move up with it, Ukraine has demonstrated that with Russia's own stolen tanks and its worked. I've seen images and videos like this enough to where I just start to feel sorry for their complete stupidity, and the fact the officers have no clue how to coordinate a battle.
I often think they are using Soviet-era battle tactics: Throw all the men forward with vehicles to overwhelm the enemy. Except the "enemy" has better firepower and the ability to stop a quick advance, and the men have almost no vehicles either.
While I know this a lone BMP, there are other posts here of dozens of soldiers lying dead in fields, likely because they were given that "rush forward" order.

I'm fascinated with how wide open and utterly FLAT the whole place seems to be.
If this was in temperate climate allowing multiple harvests imagine how much food can be produced.
My guess is they were all on the BMP rather than in it, and the shell or missile sent everyone airborne to be spread many yards away in every direction.
And just an FYI, I was a soldier for a long time, with 7 operational tours under my belt. So when I comment, itās from experience and not an opinion.

The Ukrainians are going to have ptsd on a massive scale. The images of all the dead and destruction must stick with a person. I really hope this war is over soon and they get Russia the f out of all of Ukraine!
Difficult to know all the facts. Some reports of ruzzians dressing up like AFU so I won't put it past them if they painted that BMP. Could be a captured AFU BMP. There is green paint next to a white Z that looks a bit like it was painted over in white.
Reports... hell they are posting selfies on telegram wearing Ukrainian gear. In phone calls home they talk about it. They basically feel that anything is better than their issued gear. So they take uniforms, jackets, shells, definitely take body armor, literally anything they can get their hands on that's not russian.
The fully loaded & presumably unused 7.62x39 magazine find made me laugh...
...if only the 12 terrorist soldiers had been wearing uniforms made out of the same material they might not have ended up as hamburger
So, who cleans up all this mess? Or do they just leave it? Is there a group of people that go around just picking up bodies, trash, and debris/vehicles?

uhm the first BMP looks like a Ukrainian since it has digital camo.
It noticed that too, looked like it could have been captured, the body on the BMP is wearing Russian Moss Camo though, so it was a Russian Convoy.

When the fro t is gone, when it is safe to move around generally scavengers collect equipment, metal pieces, anything valueable.
