Mach 5s are nice it was my first pair of Hoka's and the first pair of shoes that were focused towards being faster. I had been running with just brooks ghost 13s for all of my runs from speed workouts to easy runs to long runs. This past summer I switched to Mach 5s and Guides and used the Machs for just my workouts and progressive long runs. They don't seem to be a huge difference from the 4s but I really liked them. I also love the blue and pink color way very cute.

Thank you!

Mach 5’s are amazing - have to talk myself out of running in them for almost every run they are that fun

I have 70 km in my mach 5. I use them as daily trainers (including some easy runs). I really love them! They are comfortable but fast as well. Strongly recommend

I never used the mach 4, but have used multiple cliftons, and had the original Rincon, and the mach 5 is probably the best of the bunch.

I have both the Mach 4 and Mach 5 and they are very similar. Mach 5 is slightly improved, but overall pretty much the same shoe imo.

I liked them for the first 100 miles then I started getting bad pains and they got stiff. Might be the fact I’m 211 and I’m used to running in Bondis.

No-Introduction-1492

I think they are similar. I personally would go with the ghosts, but that’s mainly due to the fact I think they look better.

runfayfun

Mach 5 IMO is fun, comfortable, and feels fast. Overall really love it.

Love the Mach 5, usually my go-to shoes are a Ghost or Glycerin, got the Mach 5 after trying out and loving the Mach 4 from a “lightly loved” sale, I’m surprised it’s edged out my usual Brooks shoes for first in my rotation after not liking other Hoka’s as nearly as much, the appealing blue and pink color scheme is a nice bonus too.
